What an amazing place, he owner knows his wine and is super friendly. We came back a few times for a cheeky glass or to pick up a bottle during our stay nearby. Friday nights also have a local artist or merchant set up inside too.

Good prices, friendly knowledgeable staff, also friendly customers. Live music on Wednesday nights started about 8 and was excellent. They only serve a cheese or fruit plate as food menu options, but had free crunchy snacks and also menus from nearby restaurants that deliver to the wine bar. Would definitely return. The neighborhood is delightfully eclectic.

Hey, Second Vine. Y'all have an entire back area where tables and hangout sections already exist. Why do you clog the sidewalks with obnoxious tables and loud as hell conversation instead of hanging in the back? Just wondering. I also want to encourage you to have your staff engage in some sort of wine course or sommelier certification program. The wine selection and knowledge is lacking. When discussing wines, be more objective, use proper adjectives, and direct folks to make an educated decision about what they may want in a wine.

I was very surprised to find this store and tasting room. It's not an obvious location from an "outsider", visiting the fantastic and incredbibly rich historical area. But, once inside, I was warmly greeted by the patron who was knowledgeable in the specific taste I was searching for in a cabernet. He suggested a few wines and invited me to taste several high quality wines. I was extremely pleased, and left with a bottle of "2016 Prisoner" blend at a very fair cost. A very pleasant experience and well worth the trip. They deserve your patronage. Support this store.

SVW is soooooo awesome! The atmosphere is perfect for that laid-back, after work meetup and greet up after work. The staff is very polite and friendly. Lovely place to unwind...when we were last there, someone was char-grilling oysters, and serving other food. Truly lovely spot - tempted to keep it a secret, but it's too great not to share!

This is a great wine bar that also sells other alcoholic beverages in the event your not a wine lover. The owner Louis is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He customized a red wine tasting for me and my cousin. He was able to figure out our pallet and offer us wine options we usually wouldn't go for but ended up enjoying. I highly recommend checking this place out.
