Didn't have the best experience shopping for wine. The lady didn't seem to know much about wine and couldn't answer my one question. Another night I met friends for drinks on the bar side of the establishment and loved it! The bar has a classy yet comfortable feel where you Don't feel out of place.

I am highly disappointed, I ordered from their website as to surprise my husband for Father's day considering they had his favorite Belgium beer available. Each bottle I purchased was of the 750ml size (only size listed on the website) but I was happy to purchase them. I placed my order, 12 beers, all at the 750ml size and had also special requested a note be written to him. We currently live in Mississippi and had to make a special hour and a half trip just to pick up the beer, only to find out each bottle were 330ml in size, and not the 750ml size I had paid for. Apparently, the online sizes are incorrect. But the online prices are the same. They made no price adjustment and left it up to me whether or not to take the case home because they also did not have any in the 750ml size to give me. After driving an hour and a half for this case, of course I couldn't come back empty handed. So I left, with all 12 330ml bottles, completely dissatisfied and feeling absolutely cheated. To top it off, when I got home, the note that I had special requested was no where to be found. If you are ordering online and live out of state, do yourself a favor and call asking if they have the sizes available. Or you will definitely end up wasting your time. *** The sites sizes still have not been adjusted to the appropriate sizes available, leading me to believe it is literally just a marketing tool to get people in the door. *** I've posted 4 photos, to show all the customers the emails and the websites beer sizes that have not been adjusted, looks like you need to click on my name to view them. Or they have been deleted altogether.

I attended Pearl Wine Co. for a paid Italian Wine course. The price was reasonable at about $32 with 6 sample glasses (more if you stay after the course to help finish off the bottles we sampled). I did not note the sommelier's name, but he was great! Plenty of information was given to us regarding the wine areas of Italy. Pearl Wine Co. has a huge selection of wine as well with an outdoor patio. I recommend taking the wine courses here.

Placed order online on Monday. After 4 days of not hearing anything, I sent an email to the email address provided. I received a response and was told my order would be fulfilled and I would receive tracking info the following Monday (a week later) and shipped via FedEx. Instead I received an email Monday night saying my order was canceled. No explanation. I sent an email to ask why my order was canceled and never received a response. I found the same wine I was ordering on anoter website for $11 less a bottle and they shipped it to me overnight. Do not orer from them online. Such a waste of time and poor customer service!!!

Honestly, I was very surprised to find the jewel called Pearl Wine company nestled inside the American Can Company. It is not just a quaint bar with an amazing wine selection. There is also a mini Deli and a great place to unwind. I am really looking forward to going again. Special kudos to Megan, who made the afternoon extra special with great service.

They have good music here but the lighting is very dark and gloomy in the bar. At times it is difficult to actually get a drink. Your best bet is to get a bottle of wine and sit in the outside area. Pretty good cheese board and such. But I just go for the music.

Any true wine lover will adore not only the selection and the presentation but the philosophy of this place. There's a bar next door that's part of the store so technically you can get your favorite wine and crack it open and have it right now trivia nights, live music. Craft beers you've never heard of. The woman who owns it really hits the right notes Here she even features a special $10 wine table - some really good finds for not a lot of money. Also locally made fresh bread, and other little tidbits making this a really great Mid-City spot.

OH MAWWWW GAWWWWD! I just love this place. I get different types of beers every time; it's the most diverse I've seen anywhere else in the city! The staff are super friendly and knowledgable about the products. The bar is a great place to hang and the bartenders are really interactive with the patrons and the people who live in the building. It's such a great atmosphere!

Great hang out! Nice atmosphere and cool people working there. They can answer your questions about any type of wine. They are even serving a small menu of small plates as well as a cheese plate. The food is delicious. During the week they have themed nights for example: trivia Tuesday and wine Wednesday. Wednesdays has $5 glasses of wine. Tuesdays trivia is fun.

By far the BEST wine selection in the city. I have visited the wine country several times and this staff is educated and friendly and always willing to assist in the perfect selection. All the sophistication, elegance and passion of a tasting room in California- brought to life in New Orleans. Then, throw in things like an amazing liquor selection, huge beer selection and meet and cheese plates and you can't go wrong. The bar area is beautiful and offers amazing mixologists and delicious cocktails. The owner, Leora Madden, is delightful, knowledgeable and fervent. Pearl is perfect for any event- from a large birthday celebration to an intimate date night. You can't go wrong! If you haven't been- you are missing out!!!!
