Went there to support the bar next to hotel we stayed at. Ordered cheese and wine but only got wine. Waited patiently later to find out he never put the order through. My husband stood for second glass of beer and was ignored by the bartender Eric. We just ended up pouring the rest of the wine in a plastic cup and leaving.

Nice winecentric ambiance, dark and cozy, maybe a little pricey on the drinks. I was in beer mode and had a draft Chimay red and I want to say it was $12. In fairness they do have a $5 glass of wine daily. It is worth a stop if you're a wine drinker and want a bit more sophisticated environment after strolling Bourbon Street.

Great live jazz band when we stopped by. Drinks were priced at what I expect to pay in the French Quarter. Service was great, especially considering how busy they were! They have a wide selection of drinks including old fashioned cocktails, and mixed drinks I've never heard of with fresh herbs that were delicious! Ambience was phenomenal! Old photo's of gangsters, old bands, pics of NOLA, and News articles. Highly recommend !

Just great wines, New Orleans charm, and lovely, clean patio giving some respite from the bustle of The French Quarter. Wine bar vibes, a little more upscale in terms of energy but dress sandals and polo shirts won't feel out of place.

騒がしい通りとは異なる落ち着いたバー。 有名なバーボンストリートはとにかく騒がしい。まるで歌舞伎町並みの喧騒と店内の大音量の音楽。すこし落ち着いた会話とワインをいただきたくてこちらに来ました。 ワインはボトルで45$から100$程度で買い求めやすい。ボトルで買うとバーテンダーがグラスにいれてくれます。ただし！注意。 アメリカンな彼女は、グラス一杯にいれるので、くゆらせるようなことは出来ない。 店はホテルの吹き抜けを通過し、一階に位置する。なかは、小さなカウンターと低い足のソファとテーブル。静かなためか椅子の間隔が広い。ソファもゆるやかな大きさ。日本人なら二人入れるかなと想像してしまいます。 店は24時までだが、グラスに残る分がある間は出て行けと言わない。その辺りのゆとりは、アメリカならではと思う。 とても居心地のよい店でした。 A calm bar different from a noisy street. The famous Bourbon Street is noisy anyhow. It is like a Kabukicho Shinjuku , there are bustle and the loud music in the store. I came here(this bar) to have a little calming conversation and wine. Wine is easy to buy in bottles at around $ 45 to $ 100. When you buy it in a bottle, the bartender will go to the glass. However! Caution. American girlfriend pour it up full of glass. You can not turn the glass. The store passes through the hotel's Stairwell and is located on the first floor. Inside bar, a there are small counter and a low sofa and table. Because of the quietness , the space between the chairs is wide. The sofa is also a gentle size. As I am a Japanese, I imagine two people will be in there. The store is open until 24 o'clock, but do not say they leave as long as you remain in the glass. I think that the relaxation in that area is unique to America. It was a very comfortable shop.

I absolutely LOVE this bar! It's just a few steps off Bourbon Street but it's an adult atmosphere, comfy and quiet. I went here every single day of my stay.

OK, so I gave a thumbs down to the intro photo b/c it is NOT HELPFUL!! Anyway, this wine bar just exudes super intimacy. I thought it only served wine...nope! I went inside and realized they were having some mayor for new orleans election party and noticed that they have a full bar! I also noticed that despite it being full of drunk politicians inside (lol) it looked quite cozy and intimate. There were sofas by the entrance away from the party and an awesome courtyard right in front. Tonight was busy so I didnt care about not having waiter service. I just got my drinks inside and came back out. This is a grrreeat spot to get away from the craziness (just don't come mid October during election night). I will def hit this spot up again next time I come. I can only take 2 crazy nights in Bourbon St., lol...the rest are days to explore unknowns outside of Bourbon!

Found this place by chance late one night in the Quarter, and what a pleasant surprise. Not half a block from all the drunk and disorderly chaos of Bourbon Street lies a fantastic little wine bar full of choices and class.

What a hidden gem, just off of Bourbon Street. Great wine selection and relaxing environment, the only reason it is not 5 stars, the bartenders need to be a bit more personable. We had a great time interacting with the other patrons, though.

We discovered this place purely by accident as we were staying at the Hotel Mazarin. Very nicely appointed, very civilized even though it is less than a block off Bourbon Street. Lighting is low, very subtle music is playing, and the wine is good. If they had more sociable staff this could quite possibly be a hidden gem. Even so, we were there a few times.
