If you want variety and quality, forget any supermarket. Marcello's is where you want to be. Any particular category has dozens and dozens of high quality options, not just the same few brands relabelled again and again. If you aren't sure what you want, the staff are also very helpful and well informed. Just ask. If you're a cheapskate (or tight for cash) there is also a permanent discount area in the back that rotates through nearly every type of booze. Wine lovers rejoice for their frequent 3-for-1 deals.

Their inventory is 2nd to none with many, hard-to-find, artisan brands available. Their prices are competitive with any outlet in the area... And the expertise of the staff is "top shelf". Yes... and that includes Pete. JK :) BTW, Carlos Tedaro is a pro.

This is one of the best liquor and wine stores in Lafayette. I'm not a huge wine drinker, but the selection here is better than most. I tend to stick to beer and liquor. The beer selection at Marcello's is fantastic. They have beers from breweries across the country, and a huge selection of Louisiana breweries as well. They even have home brewing materials in case you're looking to make your own. I always find new things each time I visit Marcello's. I suggest you give them a visit.

Marcello's is the place to go shopping for tail gating events and parties, you can ensure all of your guest satisfy their thirst without breaking your pockets. Great selection, most things are unbeatable price wise and the people are helpful and friendly. My only gripe is they don't let me OC inside. They believe their occasional taste tests make it illegal. Which is false. If they aren't a Class A establishment its legal. But I'm not one of those guys and they have a right to ask me to leave regardless of the reason behind it.

Great craft beer selection and very helpful staff. They allow you to take singles off the shelf or out of the 6-packs in the coolers. Many of the popular big name craft companies are supported and a great collection of seasonal brews. They also carry all the local Louisiana craft companies if you don't have a chance to visit the breweries themselves.

love this place!!..being from the nanny state of utah where the state owns All the liquor stores and would seemingly NOT want you to shop them, it was refreshing to walk into this local Lafayette liquor store to find a great lady sitting behind a little table sharing samples of the new Absolut Lime vodka and a new type of Glenlivet Scotch(i think)..she was so warm and inviting and knew quite a bit about both products...after the sampling, me and my friend went exploring all the aisles in this HUGE store!..they had stuff here that i was amazed existed!!..such a great selection of interesting and fun liquors, beers, wines and mixes...we spent almost an hour running the aisles discovering new and exotic products... we left buying about $100 worth of liquor products (who knew they made a PB&J flavored vodka??) not me...not in Utah...anyway, great customer service, great products..great experience!!..i strongly recommend this place!!

Good place and so for the best selection of beer around these parts.. I found exactly what I was looking for and then some.. As a home brewer there isn't much around here get supplies unless you order online they have a small selection of grains years and Malta and come basic equipment there that's a score in its self!
