My wife and i attended the last spring event of 2012. I personally have visited several wineries/vineyards across america including Napa. I have never felt so welcomed at any one of my visits as i was at the Home and vineyard owned by Jeff and Libby Landry. Jeff met me at the walkway and shook my hand firmly and said " Welcome to our vineyard, on behalf of our family thank you for coming and let me show you around." We were one of hundreds of families there and his family made our family feel as if we were family in from out of town. The bands are pleasant set up with a background of beautiful grape vines. Great family atmosphere with huge sand oasis for the young ones. I will without a doubt return again, I suggest you take your family for memories you will never forget.

Like many folks, my only experience of Landry's Vineyards was via an outdoor concert. It was very nice, and I plan to come again. For context, I'm not big on wine; my very refined palate can (usually) identify white from red... maybe. That said, I thought the wine was tasty (see? So refined), with sweet, light, and fruity varieties available. Our group bought 2 bottles (Redneck Red and Peach Muscadine) and enjoyed both for less than $30 total (cups provided). Next time I want to try one of the port wines, which are infused with brandy (I learned that from my jaunt at Landry's, so it's also educational). Our group also enjoyed the boudin available for purchase—especially the crawfish and shrimp boudin, which was very flavorful and just the right texture—not too mushy, not too dry. The jambalaya was drier than I like to make it, more like how I like my dirty rice, but it was generously loaded with meat and worth the $5 for sure. We found the prices for the food and beverages very reasonable. I didn't try them, but Landry's also offers wine bellinis in frozen daiquiri machines that seemed to be popular. I'd like to see some bigger signs posted up to direct traffic, especially to replace the one outside in the pavilion above the wine bar. I found myself waiting in the wrong line, and saw a few other patrons doing the same. A poster board-size sign with clearer arrows would be perfect. A couple of employees posted at the entrance to direct newcomers on where to go would be very helpful as well. The website encourages customers to bring cash to pay to facilitate faster checkout, but I didn't notice much difference, after waiting in both lines. I have to wonder if a coffee-shop style line would help speed the checkout process, as it seems like folks behind the counter were doing double duty trying to pour wine and take orders, and maybe losing efficiency? Hard to say from the outside looking in. Plan to spend about 15 minutes in line for wine, about half that for food (if you arrive after 5:00, like we did). Overall, we had a good time, it seemed like it was a safe place for parents to let their children run around, and our group of 20-somethings enjoyed watching our futures play out in front of us in the form of our olders and betters dancing their hearts out in front of the band. Final note: you'd never guess the source of one of my most favorable impressions of the place... the portable toilets. Landry's contracted some service called Bare (Bear?) Necessities come out and let me tell you, it is the most bougie outdoor restroom experience I have ever had. It's in a camper/trailer-style portable building, one for men, one for women, each with a few stalls inside and a full sink, and very clean. So if you have heard that the only facilities available are of the portable persuasion, and were perturbed, never fear—the toilets flush.

Loved the wine. Loved the scenery. Loved our service. Unfortunately, we don’t remember the college student’s name (blond marketing major). She was so informative and friendly...loved her. You can try all 19 wines for $10. If you order a bottle of wine, the wine tasting is free. We have already looked up how to get these wines shipped to our home in Georgia!

They are unorganized. They lost our reservation for our wine tasting and tour Groupon we purchased. Probably won't go back -- wasted money on the Groupon... At least it was only $19.. If you make reservations make sure you call before you go to make sure they are expecting you....would be my advise..Wine was good.

We visited earlier this month while on a cross-country RV trip. What a beautiful property! Libby Landry was a very gracious hostess and helped us with a tasting of their wines. We enjoyed every sip as well as all that we learned about grape varietals and the local Louisiana wines (as well as how to pronounce Natchitoches!) from Libby. The tasting room/gift shop also has wonderful jellies made from their wines as well as other locally made gifts. They give tours on Saturdays, but we were on a schedule that prevented us from taking it. We purchased a few bottles of wine to enjoy further down the road on our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Landry Vineyards and hope we have the opportunity to go back some time!

Lovely setting, friendly folks, and great wine! We tasted all of the wines and met the owners. They were so welcoming and taught us a lot about the making of wine and their vineyard’s history. We took home a bottle of the Sweet Dixie and a bottle of the Louisiana Heat. We’ll be back for sure!

I haven't had the pleasure of visiting your vineyard. But I have had the pleasure of your wine! Just down the road from me in Lacombe, Louisiana is a little place called Gators that has a really nice selection of wines. While purchasing a bottle of your moscato for a Christmas gift, I decided to grab a bottle of Redneck Red for myself. Love, Love, Love it! I didn't realize until the second bottle that you were located in West Monroe . I grew up not 25 miles from you near Farmerville. I will have to schedule a tour on one of my trips back home this year.

My wife, daughter, and I participated in the wine tasting. As a result, we are having five bottles of wine and two jars of jelly shipped to our home, which is out of state. We also went on a tour of the facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to return and attend at least one of the concerts.

Visited because it was a recommended stop on the Duck Dynasty/Commander drive-by tour. I am a wine enjoy-er but not a sommelier by any stretch. My first visit to any winery and our first wine tasting. Enjoyed ourselves immensely! The sweet young lady that did our tasting was so kind and informative. $10/tasting and they wave the tasting fee if you buy a bottle of wine....I think we ended up buying 6! So GOOD! The owner was so sweet and attempted to entertain our 3 boys, even showing them the wine press! Highly recommend this place if you are in the WM area. Thank you Landry Vineyards!!

Chris Qualls

My family loves this place. I have moved to Texas now, but anytime I go anywhere near Landry's, I have to find bottles of their Dry Merlot and Blackberry Merlot. Not only is there wine very good, but the atmosphere of the winery is awesome. Going to concerts here is so fun! There is just a buzz about the place. Don't miss out

Fantastic place and great people. My wife and I were fortunate to meet Jeff and his wife while on a late Saturday morning visit. Our son was enjoying the grounds as we did a quick tasting and it was really a beautiful mid 80s July day so it was a perfect setting. After going through Jeff's great wine he offered a tour of the vineyard and we quickly accepted. He drove all three of us through the site and even took the constant peppering of questions posed by our son who was fascinated with the whole operation. We live in the Texas wine country so we made a pact to seek out wineries wherever they may appear on our travels around the country outside our area. We are so glad we stopped into the Landry Vineyards especially since its harvest time and we got to eat fresh grapes picked off the vine while we toured. Yum. Please support your local farmers and growers and stop shopping at Wal-Mart, One day the local farmer will be your best friend so start those ties today and patronize Landry Vineyards, you'll be so glad you did.

Great place to sit outside and enjoy the day while drinking their fabulous wine!

Great concerts and events, family-oriented, and delightful wine. We use it for the Lord's Supper in our church each week (Calhoun Presbyterian).

Location was very nice. But didn't seem too friendly. Went there for a wine tasting with a group of four. We were the first ones there for a tasting and tour (which they already had another group ahead of us). Then another couple walks in, then a group of girls walk in. 15 minutes later, they treated the people who walked in after us first. Then when we finally walked up to the counter, the female owner was slamming the bottles back in the buckets like she was irritated. They also made assumptions that we were with the "other black people". But it is West Monroe, LA so yeah.

My husband and I relocated from Ohio down to Louisiana. One day were out running around, we decided to go to Landry's. I am so thankful we did. We joined their wine club and enjoy going out to enjoy the atmosphere. I would highly recommend for anyone to go out and give their wine a try. You will not be disappointed!
