A diamond in the rough! I can’t say enough good things about this new little gem. Such a different and much needed establishment in Orange. It has a nice chill environment a great place to be able to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine. I met an owner and he was so nice and you could tell he took such pride in the place. You feel like you have escaped Texas and enjoying some scene in Napa! I will be coming here often!

Pretty place with specializing in homegrown muscadine wine. They do have other wines for sale and tastings as well. Vineyard located directly behind tasting room offers relaxing views

Absolutely amazing place! Best wine I’ve ever had, and a beautiful setting. The fresh, local charcuterie boards they offer are outstanding as well! So glad this family owned place decided to open its doors here in Orange.

Very nice venue and setting for getting together with friends and just in case the button on the bathroom door handle does lock the unisex bathroom

Really good looking place, I can tell they are working out the kinks. I would have given 5 stars for what it is but why isn't there a lock on the one and only uni-sex bathroom?

Great little place to enjoy a good glass of wine and relax, just across the border and not far from home. The owners and staff are great and the atmosphere is laid back... Will definitely go chill there again...

I decided to try Free State Cellars on my daughter and her boyfriend's experience. I arrived and found it immediately inviting. Casual comfortable and yet elegant in an easy way, if you will... The owner staff are family and obviously and rightfully proud of the product and service. They were very helpful, open and friendly welcoming. The wine tasting was informative, and had a very nice selection. I sat out side with a pina colada sangria with a fan blowing, people watching in front of the vineyard. I had a perfect experience and had no one to visit with but the staff. I will definately make this a routine stop and shopping experience. As a newer resident of Orange I will support this establishment and recommend it as often as I get the chance. NICELY DONE !
