Probably the best steak I've had in my life. No, not an exaggeration so let me say it again, probably the best steak I've had in my life. I'm not the type of person who is used to paying $50 for a steak, but with a gift card my wife and I enjoyed a night out at Fleming's and had a great dinner with excellent food. Just be prepared to spend some mega $$$.

I worked here for about 3 months. Loved it, at first, then things took a turn for the worse. I live in central, and from the flood my house was ruined. As in going to have to knock it down and rebuild entirely. The managers showed no remorse. 2 days after the flood the executive chef/partner has the audacity to ask me to come in 2 hours early cause we were short staffed. He didn't ask if I was ok or anything of the sort. HE DIDNT EVEN COME IN THOUGH. And his house wasn't even touched my the flood. He has lost my respect as a chef and as a person. Not to mention,I was fired via text message, 5 minutes before my shift started.

We decided on Fleming's for our 2 year anniversary. I booked a reservation on their website 1 hour before we wanted to go, and requested a quiet table because it was our anniversary and we wanted some privacy. When we arrived we were greeted with smiling staff which opened the door for us and congratulated us on our special day on check in. We were seated right away at a nice table in the corner that was decorated with rose petals and a card signed from the staff congratulating us on our anniversary. We were absolutely blown away by the service we received from start to finish. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our night was special. The food was of course excellent. We had the aged rib-eye and lobster, both of which were excellent. The timing and quality of the food was perfect. For desert we decided on the chocolate lava cake, and sorbet, which were amazing. We without hesitation would recommend this place to our friends and family, and will be returning. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Just got home from Fleming’s for dinner, disappointed. I ordered the “Over The Top” truffle poached lobster with caviar to be added to my filet mignon. Did not see or taste any caviar at all & the lobster was overcooked & no truffle flavor at all! It tasted like it was cooked in over salted water. I mentioned the lack of caviar to our waitress Amelia & she left the table & came back & told us the chef had run out of caviar & that was why there was none in the dish! Why was she not aware of this when I ordered? How many other patrons had the same but did not say anything?? Therefore the restaurant was cheating their customers & reaping the rewards of the $$$. She did place a credit on the bill for the lobster at my request but this leaves a slightly bitter taste for Fleming’s.

Nothing remotely bad here. We were here with a large party and used one of the private rooms. We were treated like royalty and wanted for nothing. Of course the adult beverage selection was excellent and accommodated our groups diverse tastes. I believe between the 20+ in our group we had darn near everything on the menu and everyone was pleased. Come here again? Most definitely.

Food was very good; not excellent, but very good. The service left a lot to be desired, however. It was difficult to get drink refills without flagging down one of the servers. For a restaurant that's supposedly "upscale" the service was definitely not up to par. It was also very noisy in the restaurant.

I never had sauteed Spinach before, but I must tell you I could have eaten a full plate of that with nothing else. This is by far one of our favorite places to dine. My husband and I have been coming to this location for 10 years and it's the perfect place for a romantic celebration or a quiet and romantic date night. It's also great for a corporate gathering as well, as the staff is very attentive and professional. Our entrees this evening were outstanding as usual. My husband ordered the 11 oz. Filet mignon, med rare and it was cooked to perfection, as was my Scottish Barbecue Salmon. We ordered 2 sharing sides of mushrooms and Fleming's scalloped potatoes. Everything was divine. Mary Beth, the manager, is fabulous and our server, Amelia was outstanding as well. An over all fantastic experience.

The very attentive staff helped us with every request. I ate a delicious dry aged ribeye and the very tasty brussel sprouts. The sides are very large and big enough to share. My wife got the lobster bisque and we split the lobster Mac. The champagne whipped butter was very good as well for the bread.

We went there last night for our Anniversary, and while the service was outstanding, the food not so much. Me and my husband both got the Bone in Filet because they were out of the Bone in Ribeye. The meat came out, and it honestly tasted like pot roast. The texture was that of pot roast and it did not have a filet taste at all. This was an expensive meal for it to not be excellent. We will not be returning.

Absolutely outstanding. Everything. Starting with the onion soup, then progressing to the petite ribeye, and Fleming potatoes. The service was abundant and very pleasant, without being intrusive (this was our 25th anniversary). This was the ideal place to celebrate such a memorable occasion. We even brought home a piece of walnut turtle cheesecake for later. I've been to Ruth's a few times. Also a steak restaurant in Dallas that did not have prices on the menu. This was by far the best restaurant that I have had the pleasure to dine. The quality is reflected in their price. We both look forward to another "dining experience" at Fleming's.

Every time I come to Fleming's I sit in the bar. The service is outstanding. The bartender Tyler always makes sure everything is to perfection. Fleming's probably has the BEST happy hour in the city and not just for drinks but also for food. This time I came in I was celebrating my birthday late and I came with my friend and we started off with the Crab Cakes and shared the 35oz Tomahawk Ribeye and got the Fleming's Potatoes and Creamed Spinach for our sides. We finished off with the Chocolate Lava Cake and it was all phenomenal. I highly recommend Fleming's because of the atmosphere, food, and the service I always receive.

We were a party of 4. Our server, Tren, and our busser, Dalton, were fantastic! The salmon, pork tomahawk and steak tomahawk were delicious! My girlfriend and I split the salmon because it was a healthy portion. Everything was beautifully prepared to specifications. The Fleming's potatoes, Fleming's salad, creamed spinach and onion rings paired perfectly with our meal. We enjoyed all cocktails especially the Lemon Drop Martini and the Old Fashion. It was a great night topped off with the Creme Brulee. Thanks Fleming's for always exceeding our expectations!

This restaurant had a wonderful ambiance and great potential but the service and the food were lacking! The server rushed us on our wine choice and then despite asking him to wait he brought out a bottle of what he assumed we wanted and poured it before we could stop him. We were charged for two glasses of wine even through we had not asked to be served any. The appetizer was so full of garlic it was almost inedible and the steaks were terrible. Yay for the truffle mashed potatoes but it wasn't enough to save the night. Won't go back.

Just went for the first time. It was a work function for a small group. Our server was excellent as was the food. I'm not big on nuts in my salad but they made that the best part. I'm also not crazy about Brussel sprouts but their's were delicious! My ribeye was cooked to a medium perfection and even the creme brulee was good... I don't eat creme brulee. Only thing I would change is the lighting... that's how good this place is.

The food was delicious from start to finish. I can still taste the pumpkin cheesecake I ordered for dessert. Yummm! I would definitely recommend eating here.

My first visit to Fleming’s of Baton Rouge turned out to be most memorable and definitely noteworthy. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our one year anniversary of being together. The initial reservation process was very easy. We were running late, so I called to push our reservation back, which was no problem at all. Upon arrival, we were greeted by very professional, friendly, and courteous staff. We were immediately seated and within one minute of sitting, we were greeted by staff offering us water. A minute later, our assigned server, Otis greeted me by name and shook my hand. Otis had and amazing personality and was incredibly attentive. He was incredibly helpful and friendly and helped make our anniversary dinner unforgettable. I hope that restaurant management recognizes Otis for his second to none customer service skills and professionalism. The entire meal was first class. We had the most amazing lobster bisque that we have ever tasted in our combined travels. The delicate, flavorful crab cakes and fresh, hot sourdough bread completed our our warm-up for the main course. Our steaks, lobster, and selected sides were cooked perfectly. We will definitely return to Fleming’s, but not just for special occasions.

I didn't catch the name of the young woman seeing our table (we had a group of about 20 and five tables) but she was efficient, but always available for what we needed. And of course, the 14 oz steak was tender and delicious, and the cheese cake was the perfect finish with a cup of coffee. Wonderful experience!

First visit as part of a group for a business meeting. Though the menu was curated for the meeting, the selections available were representative of some of the restaurant's best offerings. The service was excellent; competent, attentive. The atmosphere was nice. Upscale feeling without the "jacket required" snootiness. The food was very good. I had high expectations of Fleming's; their reputation for fine dining is well known. I was not disappointed, but I wasn't blown away either. Blame it on the visit being work related and menu limited more than Fleming's not having a good steak. Will hopefully dine there again.

I had very high expectations for this restaurant, but I was a little disappointed. The service was inconsistent: I was seated promptly, but it took a while before my waiter came to my table (in fact, the man who seated me brought me water when he noticed no one had come to see me after several minutes). When I asked for recommendations about steak/side dishes, the answers were vague (“Everything is good”, etc). I had a main filet mignon with mashed potatoes, and asked for medium, but it was closer to rare. The rarer parts were hard to chew and I didn’t finish it all. The mashed potatoes were delicious, though. For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake, which was tasty, but I was so full I couldn’t eat it all fresh (had to take away and it wasn’t as good after a day, sadly). As a reference, I was by myself, only had water and it cost me around $90+ with tip.

I got the 8oz filet mignon, $45 which is expected at a high end steakhouse. Went on a Thursday night and the restaurant was barely half full. Once we ordered, it took an hour to get our food. I ordered the filet to be cooked medium-well, since nicer steak houses I've been to before tend to undercook when I ask for medium. The filet I received was well done; charcoal on the outside and dry on the inside. How a restaurant with 'steakhouse' in the name can't cook a steak is beyond me! The walnut turtle pie was gross as well. Only dish they managed to get right was a baked potato. I'm not wasting my money there again!!!
