People weren’t joking, that is some delicious fried chicken. Derek and the staff were friendly and fast. Thanks :)

Kursedd 01

Absolutely delicious. My family and I ate almost half of the menu. Everything is amazing. And the chocolate mousse cake is to die for.

Nancy Sabatini

Very beautiful building. Excellent food & service.

Anartist333 Steven

This is a wonderful place if you're looking for fried chicken. I visit here often.

Christine Peeling

Just a quiet spot, with some of the most amazing fried pickles! 5$ hurricane, long Island ice teas, and sangria. Steve the bartender knows how to pour a drink.

Debra Solecki

Quick friendly service, good prices on special drinks and affordable menu. Food was great...we shared a ceasar salad and each got a pasta dish. Adorable atmosphere = hidden gem!

Willie7m Moultrie

Awesome food and great service

Matthew B-K

Go there for the fried chicken believe me you will not regret.

Abraham Gates

The food was good and reasonably priced

Clarissa Arocena

The food was delicious and the servers were very hospitable and accommodating towards my large group of 12. Great location too. Zero complaints!

Lisa Davis

Best damn fried chicken. I have never ever had chicken like Fiorella's...wow! Fried pickles..amazing..red beans and rice..just sop it up with the chicken. You will leave satisfied. I would recommend two people splitting a 3 piece meal. The breasts are huge!

juan velazquez

This is a hidden gem hidden in the french market!!!! The jambalaya is amazing!! And the server steven is so chill and so nice he fits perfectly with the classic music played at the restaurant...one of the best places to eat for sure!!

Rob Selker

The service wasn't great but the fried chicken was fantastic. Restaurant is across from some construction, and the air conditioning isn't very good.

Yash Ashar

Pretty terrirble. Food was cold and had no flavor. Charged $2.50 for water per person. Server was awful. Overall the worst food I've ever eaten in NOLA. Highly recommend to avoid. Terrible place in a city known for its food.

Vivien K. Zak

Decent food and drinks, but seemed really grotty.

David Smith

The food was excellent. The staff was the best. Anthony and Yoshika were awesome. When they found out we were here on the ship and could not make it home yet they were so gracious and did not even charge us for the meal. This is a must anytime we are in New Orleans. They are wonderful people with great food.

Valarie Wade

Great atmosphere. Fried chicken was cooked well done and still flavorful and tender. Great food, reasonable prices.

There is only one reason to go to Fiorella's, across the street from Coop’s on Decatur Street, and that is fried chicken. This place doesn't have a website, the concrete floors and lazy ceiling fans ain't fancy. It's vaguely Italian (the name, the dusty Chianti bottles and plastic grapes festooned about the place), but the fried chicken is definitely something nonna didn't learn in Italia. Urban legend, and many of the guys who come by for lunch, will tell you that the place couldn't keep its doors open after Katrina, but the regulars rallied and got the place re-opened to bring back the chicken. It's crispy, golden brown, juicy and pretty damned near perfect.

Went in try their famous fried chicken and when the order came out, it was all burnt with barely any chicken meat. The staff was friendly but not sure if they were stoned or on something because they were very slow in reacting and did not know the menu. I went because I read great reviews from others and turned out to be a terrible experience. My whole family who also had the chicken woke up the next morning with food poisoning symptoms. I knew that the cleanliness of the location and lack of customer service should of been enough to let me know this wasn't a good idea but I still wanted to try out their food. Unclean place and unorganized. definitely learned my lesson!! never eating at a restaurant that is not up to standards, not to mention found out they had a C rating from their health inspection... Never again.

Candy O'Brien

$5 drink specials! Delicious hand crafted cocktails

Amber Wiggins

Wonderful Atmosphere! Great Service! The best food we had while we were in NOLA! We even ate there twice in the 3 days we were there! Great portions, you get more than what you pay for!

Nathan Drake

Wait times are long and not exactly a great value for your money. Went with family and it took a while to get out drinks and then more time to receive our food and some more time to get our check. Seemed understaffed with one waitress for the whole place doing double duty as bartender, there seemed to be only one cook in the back, this was on a holiday weekend. Food was good but prices inflated because of tourism. Their famed fried chicken was really good but not $4 a piece good jajaja.

Diana O'Gilvie

Best fried chicken ever in life.

myeshap1 P

Best damn friend chicken I've ever had!

Jim Allen

Great fryed chicken.

Katie M

This place has awesome food and a quiet atmosphere. I got the seafood gumbo and it was outstanding. Restrooms are super clean. Not great for big groups, they don't really split checks.

Luis A. Felicies

Best Southern Fried Chicken in the French Quarter

Christopher Lewis

Food was good, but had to wait for almost an hour for it and the restaurant was not busy

Ian Wallenborn

Everything from the waitresses to the fried oysters to the side of potato salad was just great! Even the kids hamburger was great: not the usual frozen 1/4 inch patty. It was a full blown burger. The place wasn't packed and it was a quiet, mature crowd. They go out of the way on service and food. Hell, even the kids mac'n cheese tasted like it was made with real cheese. This place genially makes especially good food. And the staff was especially friendly.

Charlene Washington

Fried chicken, red beans and rice..... Yummy

Dustin Smisson

Best oysters downtown. Stephen was an amazing waiter. Great experience!

Justin Davis

Great food and drinks. The staff was excellent!!

D'Elia Majoria

Setendipitously, watched the Saints game at the bar here becaude the American Sports Hall down the road screwed up our reservations. Our bartender was so lovely and the Bloody Mary was the perfect level of spicy. We ordered a dozen chargrilled oysters (not bad!), crawfish beignets, truffle fries, and crawfish gnocchi. Awesome! Also, they have two independent unisex bathrooms just FYI instead of the whole male and female community bathrooms.

Brian Edwards

I give few 5 stars. This is good food. Not gourmet. Good. I can't speak for the evening but during the day, they are very kid friendly... With alcohol!

Jason Boulle

Food and staff were great!! Glad we strolled in... Boudin was delicious. Reasonable pricing.

Stefanie Pointer

I give it a three. Maybe a 2.5...First visit. Service was okay. Their waiter joked too much about our food. Like, he would act like he got the order wrong and then say "I'm just playing." Um, no. Then he brought my husbanda sweet tea but it looked nothing like sweet tea. It was so watered down and had a very light color. Then tells my husband 'I know it looks nothing like sweet tea, but trust me, it is.' In regards to the food, me and my husband ordered Po Boys. They forgot the Mayo, as requested, on mine. So the water brought me the whole bottle of mayo, lol. Other than that, the Po Boys were awesome! They were huge and quite tasty. My son ordered meatball pasta, which he regarded as 'mediocre at best.' Will we go back based on this experience? No.

Chris Walker

The bar tender in here makes mean drinks.

FATIMA Boone

Customer service ready , loved it pleasant people and the food was everything the server said it was going to be

Jay Shriver

A place in the quarter near the French market that I always love to visit. My favorite dish is their fried chicken. You have to wait a little while for your food, but it is so worth the wait. Definitely recommend.

Connor Thompson

A group of 5 of us came in and asked for a table inside. None available for us, but we only found out about that after the hostess said there was a spot in the back available. They took us to the top balcony where we had to get a table set up where they were totally disorganized. We waited 7.5 minutes for someone to take our drink order. After "someone" came for our drink order, the waitress in question seemed dazed and confused. She repeated or drink order 2 times before we figured we'd leave. The 2 guys behind us had been there before it got busy. One of them had his food, but not silverware... we left before we had an even worse experience than we'd had thus far.

Aaron Smith

Excellent food, best fried chicken I've ever had. My fiancee had shrimp etouffee which was a little on the hot side but still delicious. Drinks were great as well, I had a well-crafted hurricane.

Maddy Newman

We didn’t get the pleasure to try their food, as we were a little too late. BUT the fresh squeezed drinks are amazing! You pay the same price as the neighboring establishments, but you get a higher quality taste (and strength). I recommend this to anyone looking for a fantastic mojito or their ginger limeade (with gin).

malcolm behrens

We moved from the French Quarter to Illinois four years ago, and are back in Louisiana for the winter. We revisited Fiorella's for the first time in four years. Because of the fire the interior has changed, but the service and quality of the food is still as great as it was in the past. Our visit brought back memories of the good food we had eaten there, in years gone by. Derek was our server, and he made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Thanks, Fiorella's and Derek.

Gary Chiles

Fabulous restaurant. Have been here every year for dinner for the past 19 years except for the year of Katrina and the year they burnt out.

Trent Yuhas

I think the staff and drinks were great. Might be rainbow friendly and we didn't know.

Richard Reynolds

Just no. Once upon a time the restaurant was known for inexpensive amazing chicken. The owner bought the bar across the street and attempted to turn it in to a tourist trap expensive restaurant. They hired a new main cook, and the the quality went through the floor, while the prices multiplied by four. It's up to you, but I would strongly suggest against it.

Anjeanette Sausedo

The fried chicken is awesome!

Asha Gray

They say they have the best fried chicken and it was the best we had during our trip. It was very nicely seasoned, moist, perfectly crispy and very well priced. The seasoned veggies cooked in white wine were also fab and our server, Joel, was fantastic. He was fine dining attentive and the service was quick. The decor was lovely. I couldn't stop admiring all the light fixtures. Unfortunately I can't give a five star because my partner, who had the blueberry mint julep, said it was only ok. They really didn't have very many choices of sides at all. Also we unfortunately saw the other server that night package a tables left overs with his bare hands. As a former server that's a big no no.

Linda Duren

Really good drinks, good service, but disappointed in the food

サンコサム

So happy they reopened, the only place to get fried chicken in the quarter

Aaron/Maira Koiner

Closed with no explanation on Tuesday, June 26th, 2018. Walked 15mins to get there. Tried to call in advance but no answer. Just figured they were busy.

Jayla Tilo

Food over priced for small amount, we all got chicken, fries, mash potato, spinach dip, boudin balls, seafood gumbo, biscuit and water. Chicken was alright but there are far more better places to get chicken. Fries were ok. Mash potato was the highlight of that place. Spinach dip could have been better and less cold. Seafood gumbo was no where near good plus it had to be warmed up bc i ordered it with my food but it was the first to come out so it got cold and i asked for a hot and fresh one but they couldnt do that so he just warmed it up and it was still more on the cold side. Boudin balls, you get 3 the size of a marble with a little salad in the middle and the taste was not worth it. Biscuit was not bad. And water, well it was water. The service was too long of a wait. We seen 3 groups of people come in and get their food right away while we had to sit there and wait nearly an hr for ours. Our server was ok, he checked on us maybe once but most of the time we had to look for him or try to get his attention and the place isn't big at all. Bathroom was decent but still had a stench to it. I would not recommend to anyone neither will i ever go back. Horrible experience.

Brian Chen

Was lured by an employee while walking past. They claimed to have the world's best fried chicken, so why not? We put our drink and food order in, then waited...and waited...and waited...After one hour with nothing on our table, and no one coming to check on us, we got up and left. The place wasn't even busy. There was one couple at the bar, and one other couple at a table, and us.

D Norman

Definitely wish we had found this place last night, instead of the other restaurant that had us waiting an hour and a half for food we never received. Fiorella's has great food, HUGE portions, and our server actually came outside to help me find parking on the street. Talk about customer service. This will be one of my go-to places on our next trip. Red beans and rice had a nice little kick, the fried chicken was perfect and crunchy, juicy on the inside, and the rest of my family enjoyed their dishes, including liver and onions!

Daniel Garza

The worst service I’ve ever experienced. After waiting 45 mintues for our food and getting aggressively snapped on by the manager (William), my party and I left without being served.

Sloane Signal

Always good, always fresh!

BMWf30fan DFW

Very nondescript place from the front, but WOW was the fried chicken good. If you go you need to ask for Brian. He's a great waiter and will definitely take care of you. Someone in our party lost their sunglasses and he went out of his way to look for them the next day. Even took down my number in case he came across them. Make sure and check them out!!

Benjamin Shaw

Outstanding food. Authentically friendly folks like Rob behind the counter throwing around banter. Just watch your step near the bathroom... A bit slippery there

Valerie Roybal

My 2nd visit to NOLA and my 2nd visit to Fiorella's. I think they have the BEST shrimp and grits and chargrilled oysters! Very friendly wait staff. Will ALWAYS be back whenever I visit. There is a bit of a wait for our food, but worth it!

Matthew Tingle

The bad reviews are moronic. Came in here randomly to get out of rain. The 5 dollar hurricanes were amazing and the best artichoke dip I've ever had. I did everything but lick the plate it was on. Totally worth the visit.

Cash Shoemaker

Pretty good

Kimberly Parker

I love this place it hasn't changed in quality of food...Can't wait for next visit.

Malisha Royal

Tourists be aware they have a RAT infestation!!!!!! My fiancé and I visited New Orleans this past week, as we were handing our waitress the check saw a big Rat run across the floor! Don’t take my word for it, ask the community!!! To be honest I Knew something wasn’t right when I entered the building and went up to the rooftop it’s not a clean place.... Please save yourself!

Victoria Bush

Best food I've had in forever. We had numerous dishes between the 9 of us and had 8 different dishes. We were all extremely satisfied with all our dishes.

Kirk Batsel

Excellent oysters

Sriskanthan Kanagavale

Good food, cozy place and friendly staff.

Megan Pearson

Loved, loved, lived this place!!! The Boudin Balls were amazing as wrll as thr ddinks!. The Pimms cup was my absolute favorite!! The staff were inviting and friendky as well. If i ever get a chance to go back to New Orleans this will be my first stop!

Katie Jane Lee

The food was delicious and fairly priced with good portions! Our server was so sweet, we originally were coming in just to have a few drinks and get out of a random storm that had snuck up, but we ended up getting full meals anyways. I'm glad we did, definitely the best place we ate this time in NOLA!

Anthony Morton

Place looks amazing and the food was delicious and I would be remiss if I didn't add got the door man Anthony absolutely gorgeous.....

Elizabeth Sotiropoulos

About a week ago, I called and made a reservation for 8 people for Thanksgiving Day. The website said, “Join us for our Thanksgiving buffet! Only $16.95!” That sounded incredible, and price wasn’t really an issue for us - we just wanted to find a place to have Thanksgiving lunch while we were traveling in New Orleans. Interestingly enough, that graphic was removed from the website on Thanksgiving Day. Our family of 4 met some friends of ours - another family of 4 - for a short trip out of state. So, when we showed up at our reservation time, the hostess was very surprised and said, “We don’t have a reservation for 8....” Then another hostess hushed her and they went to the back, then came back out and said, “No it’s ok we have a table. But do you know about the pricing?” I asked what it was, and they said “$45 for adults, $15 for kids 6-12, and kids 5 and under free.” I felt so embarrassed in front of our friends because that is not what the website said, at all, and that’s not what the person said on the phone when I called to make a reservation. But we stayed for lunch because the food looked good. The buffet lunch was alright - nothing was hot, but the flavor was ok. The worst part of our meal was our server. She was just horrible. I asked to order a bottle of moscato for our table, and she said, “Oh we’ve got plenty of stuff not on the menu that we are just trying to get rid of.” Again, I was speechless, but nodded and just asked for a bottle of moscato. When I came back from the buffet, the server had already brought and opened a bottle of Pinot grigio, and she said AND I QUOTE, “We are actually out of moscato but this is like the bargain wine, it’s cheaper than what you wanted to order.” I was, again, humiliated in front of my friends. (The wine, by the way, was terrible. We couldn’t drink it. We left half a bottle at the end of the meal.) I felt so bad that I paid for everyone’s dinner. My face burned hot the whole time because I’ve never been so embarrassed, especially for a holiday dinner. Our server couldn’t have had more than 2 tables (it wasn’t busy at all) but she couldn’t be bothered to give us refills or take away our plates. My goodness, she did NOTHING because it was a buffet style meal, and it even took another server to bring us some oil and vinegar for the salad and a spoon for the gumbo. So, thanks Fiorellas, you really ruined our Thanksgiving meal. You’ll go down forever as “that horrible place we had Thanksgiving dinner in New Orleans.” I wouldn’t recommend that anyone eat here. It reeks of fish, the service is awful, and you might just get a server who makes you feel like a poor beggar looking for a handout.

Bill Turner

Legit fried chicken, one of the best in NO! Cozy place, typical of the quarter, overlooked by many but known to locals. Fine drinks, friendly service. Be prepared to wait a bit-they cook it to order. My only advice is to order the 4-piece, ‘cause the 2-piece is just a leg and a wing...

Terreze Williams

Romantic and subtle for a dinner date. The food surpassed my expectations.

Antonio single

My first time in New Orleans and this place was nice and cozy. Great convos with the wait staff. Wine and food was fantastic.

Allyson Adame

Very good food. The fried chicken was delicious, moist, and FRESH. We also had the red beans and rice and homemade macaroni and cheese. Everything was delicious. There was a bit of a wait to get our food but they make it all fresh and the waitresses and signs tell you that. It was a little dive-y/hole in the wall, and a little musty, but the food was great.

Anthony Bostick

Fresh squeezed juice cocktails are amazing! I had a blueberry mojito that was amazing!! My husband had the Pimm's cup and it was very refreshing and not overly sweet.

Rebecca Krupp

Service was fast despite being busy. Seafood was fresh. Beverages were cold. Servers were friendly. Food was copious and good!

Harn Chiu

We went on a quiet night, but service was excellent. Loved the fried green tomatoes, crawfish etoufee, and bread pudding!

Michael Leonard

Folks. It's New Orleans! The city is 300 years old, sits beside a lazy river, and is barely above sea level. There will be rats. We didnt meet any, but the shrimp po'boy and the bread pudding (which Derek, our server recommended) were delicious.

Christina Y

Delicious food and welcoming service! We had the gumbo and étouffée and really enjoyed it. They even customized a drink for us that wasn’t on the menu, which turned out great

Rudy Veloz

Where to begin. Well they have big huge rats running around the back. We saw it when we went to the restroom. The drink special prices were a lie and then they charged a prep fee on them. Not only that they charged a prep fee on bottled beer. The food was decent but way over priced. They claim they can't split a check for a group dinner. So they left it up to us to figure it out. So they can't figure out how to split a check but they could take 7 different cards to pay for it all as we were a big party.

Meagan Moore

Fried chicken is the best in the hidden gem.

kevin petersen

The char grilled oysters and the shrimp and grits were fantastic.

Dave Prince

Awesome fried chicken, gumbo, shrimp, wine... Everything!! The ambiance is great, the staff is wonderful. My in-laws have been here three times in three days, and made sure that I came too. Thank you Chef Yez, Anthony and Eric for a great experience, I'll be back for sure.

Thomas Ricks

Super friendly staff. Great cheap food. Magnificent 5 organic 5 dollar hurricaines. Best Jambolia I have had in a LONG time. I had seconds.

joseph patin ii

Wonderful chicken at the 2nd National Fried Chicken Festival in N O

Shawn McCall

Fiorella's fried oysters and shrimp are always a must when I go to New Orleans. So many restaurants but this is a hidden gem. Large portions and friendly service.

Scotty Beamon

Good fresh squeezed hurricanes and New Orleans pulled pork "PO" Boy

Fernweh Adventures

This place had a nice ambiance and the staff was very friendly. The burger was the best of the food we ordered. I would not eat their fettuccine or their jambalaya again....but I would come back just for their hamburger!

Travis Henson

Great food and staff.

Michael Black

Fiorella's is so great we came back twice in consecutive days! Our first lunch was a quick in-and-out to make it to a swamp tour. We told the folks at Fiorella's that we were in a hurry and they were very kind to accomidate us. We were in and out in about 30 minutes which was exactly the right amount of time. I had a fish po boy with fries and hushpuppies. It was fabulous! My wife had the blackened chicken sandwich which was amazing. We came back the next day for lunch before heading to the airport and then home. Yes - this place was good enough that we came back a second day and chose to have our last New Orleans meal here. While we were here for our first visit we saw fried chicken go out to a neighboring table. It looked devine but I was skeptical. You see, there's a chicken place where we're from in Kansas City called Stroud's. I've always said there's no way any other place can come close to being as good as Stroud's. We've traveled all over the country and that has always proven to be true... until now. I was shocked at how good the fried chicken is here! It was piping hot, tender, moist, crispy and wonderfully seasoned. I just couldn't believe how good it was. It rivals what many people, including myself, consider to be the best chicken in the country. My only slight letdown were the mashed potatoes that accompanied my chicken. They tasted a little like KFC and didn't have the texture of real mashed. Other than the slightly disappointing mashed potatoes everything was wonderful. The restaurant did not have that "rotten bar in the French Quarter" smell. Everything looked and smelled clean. The staff was wonderful as was the atmosphere. This is now a must-visit place for us in NO. We'll be back!

Jinsong Huang

Lasagna was good. Pan seared tuna was not bad. Seafood platter was so so (too salty). Service was a little slow.

Kaiwen Chen

Their fried chicken was delicious but the shrimp po-boy was just average. The shrimp was great, but the rest of the sandwich was simply superfluous. You're better off getting the shrimp and grits from their kids menu if you want shrimp (something I wish I had done)

Dev Dav

No frills but really good Chargrilled oysters

Mark Buttery

My new go to place for liver & onions, fried chicken and mashed potatoes. I might die sooner but worth every bite.

katrina fredrick

The weakest drinks we had our whole stay in New Orleans. Everyone was really nice though.

Robert Isaac

Best fried chicken I've ever eaten

Steve Humphrey

Down-home atmosphere, reasonable prices and GOOD FOOD! We can highly recommend the crawfish etouffee; it's delicious! You absolutely MUST have the fired-green-tomatoes & shrimp appetizer; it's wonderful! Perfectly fried shrimp and oysters; you'll just love them.

Taylor Schatz

Great service, awesome fried chicken and a fun atmosphere. Would recommend!

Rahul Tripathi

We had our most miserable restaurant experience here about 30 mins ago. The place is filthy, the servers were fighting among themselves and throwing plates, and after a 40 minute wait for food (with maybe 3 tables in the place occupied), when we decided we'd rather leave, we got very bad attitude from the wait staff and no apology (but we promptly got a tab for our sodas). Do not recommend at all.

Ellena Dzhonson

We saw rat in the restaurant, have been charged for Tap water 1$, the manager didn't do anything about it, only justify that she wasn't here for 2 weeks, the place is dirty. Also tips are charged automatically.

charles burch

Escoffier Master Chef Yazz delivers the best of New Orleans favorites fused with yesterday's culinary excellence at a surprisingly reasonable price.

Billy Blixt

I don’t even want to rate them one star. We walked in after putting in a reservation which the restaurant “accidentally” lost. She said the system was down and there was a 15/20 min wait with tables open. When we mentioned there were open tables she said she would check. While waiting a bartender shoved us out of the front of the “please wait to be seated” without the slightest apology. When she came back she said all the tables were full and took our number to call us when a table opened up. Needless to say we waited 1/2 an hour and no call. We went to a much better spot. 13. I can’t believe people are saying this place is friendly and great - we received nothing but abuse. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

Tia Williams

Fiorella’s is easily number one restaurant to visit while I’m in Nee Orleans. I discovered this little gem prior to it burning down and I’ve made it my business to visit whenever I am in New Orleans. I couldn’t go a few times due to the fire and remodel. I will say that it is now beautiful. Prior to the fire, one would have been scared to eat at Fiorella’s. However, the look didn’t scare me off at all bc a few locals recommended this place to me. They now have upstairs and balcony seating. Steven (pictured), is by far one of the best servers I’ve ever had. He’s so calm, distinguished, and CLASSY! He really possessed an old school class that I appreciate. The chicken is delicious! I always get the chicken when I go... always! My nephew opted for the bbq shrimp and grits and they were heavenly. The grits were cooked to perfection! They also have $5 drinks. I had the Long Island and my sister has the Bloody Mary.. they were good and strong. My brother in law had the crawfish Bloody Mary which was $10 (might have been a special). Anyone visiting New Orleans should most definitely eat at Fiorella’s and request to be seated in Steven’s area - its an experience.

TALECIA WADE

Great place for some delicious food! We would have passed it if it wasn't for the gentleman outside selling us the place. And he didn't short the place at all. They make a mean hurricane.the fried pickles are really good. They are reasonably priced as well

andy felker

Best fried chicken is a BOLD statement but this is worthy of the honor. Friends with me seemed to enjoy their food as much as I did. Rob from Maine was a great server and they've got Canebrake on tap. On my short list of the best in the qtr.

Maddie Smith

Food and drinks were delicious! Wait staff was friendly and attentive.

Charlie Richmond

Great atmosphere, reasonable prices and friendly service with not as limited a menu and selection of wines as one might expect from such an intimate place. It's obviously been here a long time for a good reason! The fish was excellent and plentiful and hush puppies done properly for once! The oysters were tasty and fries abundant if not special.

C H

Excellent Jambalaya and AMAZING fried chicken! Great prices and wonderful service!

Dylan Kubiak

Closed at 10 but we showed up at 9:30 and the “kitchen was already closed”. Not very professional.

Misty Pack

Great atmosphere and service. Fried Chicken is to die for!!

Heather Emery

Food and cocktails are amazing! Poppy crafts inventive and delicious cocktails, blackberry and watermelon mojito,YUM! Great spot for fried chicken too!

Sarah Veness

We didn't try the food here but definitely one of our favorite places to drink in the French Quarter! Our bartender was awesome!

Chasitie Savois

Great food

Pedro Luis

Best fried chicken and black berry mojitos

Der Lerad

This is a small but really nice bistro with a great charm. The service is quick, entertaining and attentive. We had the poboy and some homemade lemonade. The poboy was delicious but completely out competent by the lemonade. If you go there take a bite of something, I bet everything is good. But I really recommend to get some of that awesome lemonade

Jason Brooks

Best chicken I've ever came across of!

James Poston

I will never go there again. Poor service, poor training and a rude manager. I went there years back and had great service a very good fried chicken. What a shame.

Jon

Great greasy spoon type spot for food and drinks. The fried chicken is the best and well worth the 25 minute cook time. Red beans and rice are also very very tasty. The staff is friendly and down to earth.

laurence lyons

Place I have ate here on each annual visit to the French Quarters over the past 20 years except for closure due to a fire about 2 years ago. They consistently delivered what they were known for...excellent fried chicken; however, not this time. Chicken meal wasn't fried at the right temperature and under cook. After last nights meal one member of the party became sick. Obvious change in emphasis by ownership or kitchen staff. Can no longer recommend this place as a "must stop"

Ashton Satchwell

I can't speak to the food but we had a few drinks at the bar. The drinks were great and the service was fantastic! Bella is an awesome bartender and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

Michele Andersen

Fantastic broiled oysters and crawfish beignets. Excellent service. loved this place.

Pamela McKenzie

If you go on line to look at a menu and go to a restaurant for a specific dish and it’s not available ,it’s very disappointing. We actually left Fiorella’s one night after looking at the menu on line and going there for a dish that isn’t available on their new menu ..which isn’t posted on line. Finally, after several trips hoping that some of the dishes from the previous menu were available , we ask.. because we don’t eat fried food very often and the dishes on the previous menu were so good. I’m sure there are a lot of people that are looking for the same option. The bartender was so nice and helpful and assured us that the chef could prepare the dishes that we wanted. All of the food is good. The grilled oysters are so good. The fried chicken is delicious, but if we had not ask..we never would have had the gulf fish cardinal which is absolutely amazing. It was one of the best meals we have had in the quarter and we have eaten many places. The hanger steak is also very good. Thank you so much for preparing these for us! More than once now! Thank you for being so nice. Please add these and more dishes like these to the menu again for those of us that want a really good grilled fish or steak. These are really missed on the new menu.

Amazing fried chicken. Aaaand that's about it. Years ago, before the fire was same excellent chicken, good service. Came when they re-opened. Again a month later. 8 months later, now this past week. Every time, absolutely horrific service. Missed items, still on bill. Extra charges. Barely can get a drink. This last time, likely for good a Johhny Depp looking guy "served" us. Barely convinced him to take our drink order. When they arrived, ordered 2 orders of chicken and side of fries. Good chicken takes time as it's done as ordered, so time went by. Sure could have sold us another drink, but nope. Chicken served... Asked if we could get drink, server said would tell our Johhny Depp wanna-be. Still nope. Chicken cooled enough to eat.... Ate. Yummy! Still no waiter, still empty drinks, still no fries. Bus boy came by, we asked about fries... Said he would inquire.. Finally, our shadow of Jack Sparrow came by, we asked about fries, he seemed surprised he hadn't brought them... 10 more minutes, chicken long gone and tempted to find drinks elsewhere to bring, we just asked for check. Then a corrected one, without fries on it. This business has a product, location and now renovated space. I feel for them, trying to figure out why they can't build business!

Excellent Drinks

Good service, but GREAT charbroiled oysters! Grilled chicken is very tasty, shrimp platter is generous.

My mother and I have frequented this restaurant for over 20+ years. We were so sad when the fire happened last year. I watched this Facebook page like a hawk - excited to see the reopening happen as well as the heightened social media presence that has been missing in the past years. Today was my first visit back and needless to say I was shocked! The remodel looks amazing - but don't come here expecting Fiorella's as you knew it. They changed the menu quite a bit; but not to worry! Their world famous fried chicken still resides amongst your new favorite dishes. The wait staff is professional and attentive. The music is wonderful - great ambiance and atmosphere. There are two tvs in the bar area if you so wish to watch a program while you dine. We've loved Fiorella's for so long; we're glad to see it back and better than ever.

Food was okay. Service was good. Just not the same as back in the day.

Harmen Hulsman

Couldn't believe how tasteful the food was, the best in a long time. And great service too

I can't begin to tell you how sad it is for me to read some of the things said about the restaurant we, my wife Carolyn(Ms Carol) and I established in 1985. It was the most pleasurable 15 years of our lives to serve the hundreds of wonderful people, local and vistors, that patronized our establishment. We love you all.

Great place for fried chicken.....almost as good as the original.....great specials, too

We found this place by chance and it was great!! Delicious hurricanes and what a deal!! 2 for 1. We both had po boy sandwiches and were very pleased. Our server was Taz and she was exemplary..it's clear the people who complained of service didn't have her. She was attentive and pleasant!

Joey Hacker

This place is great. Derek was our bartender. He's a genuinely good guy. We'll certainly be back!

Sheila Thomason

Saw that they were on the list for top 5 places for fried chicken so we decided to check it out and we weren't disappointed. Being a beer girl I usually disregard fruity drinks however they had a fresh squeezed absolute hurricane for $5 that was fantastic! (Not a fan of their sangria though.)

Joseph Villalobos

The fried chicken and food is the best but sadly the service is the worse.

Michael Polimine

Best fried chicken I've ever tasted. Crawfish ettoufe was incredible. Great service.

Chris Webb

Very good food and service, they even accommodated our vegan and vegetarian needs. The hurricane was syrupy though.

Michael Wisniewski

Great local food away from the crowds, great service and awesome vibe. The catfish poboy and crawfish etouffee we're excellent

Mark Powles

Charred Oysters were awesome which we shared and our group had Jambalaya, Fried Chicken, Shrimp Etouffe and Crawfish Etouffe and everyone loved what they had. Well prepared and service was excellent.

Margo Alderton

Small but excellent wine list (and very well priced!) They had just opened the upstairs with balcony when we went so got to enjoy the weather and being off the street. Only had apps and wine but lovely service (Stephen) and fantastic time.

Windy Boudreaux

Pretty good, but still over rated.

Drew K

Excellent fried chicken. Chill atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great break from the heat.

Erica Francis

Food was good. Drinks were strong. Service was slow.

Sherrie Elms

Good food kinda pricey

Brenda Underwood

Not very satisfied. Location good in the fifth quarters in New orleans

Victor Sundquist

Best charbrioled oyster I have ever had. At least 10 times better than Acme & no line.

eric pape

Cute spot! Good service!

Wendy Talley

What a colossal disappointment. I remember going to Fiorella's when they were famous for their fried chicken. It used to be great. After their recent renovation because of a fire, they just aren't the same. The service was poor and the employees very unhappy in their job. The food was actually terrible. I was stunned. It looks very swanky with beautiful renovation details, but don't judge this book by it's cover. Terrible.

Waitress forged an additional $50 on our CC receipt. This was ontop of the "mandatory" 18% gratuity they charge. At first I thought it was a hold but several days later when it cleared I confirmed the bill was processed for $199.13. Our bill with tip that I authorized was $149.13. Went in person and spoke to the owner and he said he couldnt do anything at all, that Id have to dispute the charge with CC company. Food was mediocre so nothing about this place deserves a recommendation
