Lovers Leap was an amazing surprise. A definite hidden gem in the hills of Kentucky. As a red wine drinker, I was a bit skeptical of their dry reds. They were excellent and the Reserves are definitely top notch. The people are friendly and knowledgeable as well. Overall a welcoming and warm place! I will definitely be back!!!!

Lovers Leap is a beautiful vineyard and facility here in Lawrenceburg. My husband and I enjoy visiting with friends a family. The views inside and out are relaxing. It's a great place to sit and visit and have a glass of wine. We love Johnna. She makes the experience top notch.

Nov 2017 - This was one of the best wine tasting experiences we've had. For being in Kentucky, it was just as good if not better than some of our experiences and tastings in Napa Valley. We like dry reds and these wines were beyond phenomenal. There was absolutely no bitterness or harshness, and it's obvious the winemaker takes great care and passion to create fantastic wines. Brian was very welcoming and patiently answered all of our questions. This is an absolute must on the Lexington wine tour!

My wife and I stumbled on this winery while we were traveling from Wisconsin to Myrtle Beach, S.C. on vacation. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of their wines and the friendly staff. If you go, and I would encourage you to go, be sure and taste some of their reserve wines. We were blown away by their reserve Chardonnay and the Cabernet Franc as well as the Cabernet. I never thought we’d find such a gem of a winery in Kentucky.

Outstanding wines top to bottom. Wines true to vinifera character. Acidity and fruitiness of the white wines were well balanced. Reds had very elegant silky tannins. Bryan Jones the winemaker was a joy to talk with about wines and his wine making. Best wines we've had for awhile!

Absolutely a must! My wife and I have been wine tasting in Napa and it was the closest you can get to the experience without the cost (and the weather). Bryan, the wine maker, was pouring and he spent two hours talking to us about the winery, the history and the wines. We tasted a bottle of 2012 Cab which was life changing. They have a great selection of wines. My wife and I are dry red people and we tasted at least seven reds that were awesome. The grounds looked great, but it was a little cold to enjoy the patio so we spent our time in the tasting room.

We enjoy a good cab and red blends. With warmer weather I've been liking some pinot grigio and sauvignon blanks. We bought two tastings and tried 12 different wines. Truly enjoyed their Riesling, Rose and cabernet sauvignon. Invested in the reserve 2013 cab. We've tried several tastings in Georgia and Michigan and we have to say this was one of the best selections and tastes!! Highly recommend you take the time, you won't be disappointed. Brittany was very knowledgeable of the wines, grapes and their vines. We will definitely go back.

LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By far the best winery tasting room and wine in the area so far and we've tried many!! Been here a few times. We are from NY where we are spoiled with a large amount of fabulous wineries and where they are very accommodating for larger groups and not crammed in a tiny room. This place makes you feel at home every time and are extremely helpful and friendly. The glasses are awesome and they give you a good amount of wine not just a sip. We always leave with several bottles. They top your tasting off with some frozen sangria or peach bellini!! Soooo good, we left with one of those kits as well!!!

If you're traveling I-64 or on The Bourbon Trail this is a must see. We were welcomed by a long time employee Brian who introduced my girlfriend and I to the wine culture. He had a true passion and knowledge but down to earth for people like us that drink Arbor Mist. The prices are great around $12 a bottle, but tasted like $100.00. Stop reading my review and set your GPS for Lover's Leap Winery.

I have learned to appreciate the notes in wine after all my bourbon tastings and this winery is the perfect addition to your bourbon trail. “Cute” winery, reasonable prices, and great service. A group of us stopped by here along our bourbon trail for a wine tasting. The woman who was behind the wine bar was very knowledgeable and friendly. My wife is a very “sweet drinker” and loved the 2013 Concord, Lover's Leap Rose', and the Photo Finish Sweet White (her favorite). The rest of us enjoyed the 2012 Grand Reserve Cab Franc and we ended up buying a bottle of the 2014 Estate Reserve Chardonnay. Very good and would strongly recommend. The view of the vineyard from the porch was gorgeous so hopefully it’s a sunny day when you visit!

My husband and I first came here during our honeymoon in 2017 and had the most wonderful tasting experience with Colby! We came back a year later to taste again with Colby and just had an equally great tasting. Fast toward to yesterday, we ended up tasting wines with Brian (the winemaker) and learned so much about the process of wine making! We had a fantastic time! Point is: the wine is beyond superior, but the people who work here make the tasting room experience exceptional. That’s what keeps us coming back every year.

We went today to pick up our wine since we are wine club members. They are very flexible with what you can get as long as it adds up to the basic total (example you can select 6 less expensive bottles or 5 that are a little more expensive). I tasted a few to help decide if I wanted the recommended selections or some other options. My favorite today was 2013 Cynthiana one of the best dry red wines I have had from Kentucky! I got 2 bottles and plan to share one with company this weekend. The winery is in the country but really only a little ways off main roads. Their new venue building looks amazing. The vineyard looked lush I took pictures of the beautiful grapes. It was much busier today than when we first visited in the winter. I highly recommend anyone wanting a great tasting experience in a rural setting to check out Lovers Leap Winery!

We have been to several wineries on the Ky Wine Trail and this is one of the best! We scheduled a tour and definitely recommend taking the tour. Brian is very knowledgeable, friendly and is passionate about winemaking. Our group brought a picnic lunch and drank wine on the deck overlooking the beautiful vineyard. Excellent!
