Disappointing. The wines tasted yeasty to me. The glasses looked a little dingy. All four of us had sick tummies when we got home. Wines are so much better in North Carolina! The server also acted a little bored.

From California near Napa region and have moved to KY in 2015. Have tasted most wineries in the surrounding 4 states and really love these dry reds as well as barrel soaked sweets and desserts they have, so it’s the only winery in state of KY we are members of! Staff is super friendly too! You guys rock and this is a must try place if you are passing through!

This is an AMAZING winery. First the customer service. I get the best customer service with them. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and will describe the wine to you if you're not that knowledgeable about wine. They have a great atmosphere in their winery. Plus the tasting room is very, very nice. The wine is delicious! I like all kinds from dry to sweet. And I have not come across a wine of theirs that I did not like. They currently have a coffee wine that words cannot describe. It almost makes me want to drink it first thing in the morning. Their wine club is amazing and not like other wine clubs. I get to pick out the wines that I want, not the ones that they want me to have. Plus, it's affordable. The winery host events throughout the year, including during the winter. You will not be disappointed by stopping by this place. Also, it's right off the interstate, so no crazy winery roads.

Did the wine tasting, today, with some friends. Very enjoyable. Great tasting wines. They do not have snacks, but they do let you bring in your own. After tasting, we each bought a glass of wine, and enjoyed a few hours of great gab. Wine paired up well with our snack tray and crackers. Recommend you try it out. Nice place to go.

We drove an hour and twenty minutes to Forest Edge. We arrived at 6 45pm and they closed at 7pm. We were informed that we would not be able to use our groupon due to the time and sorry. Bobbie Sue was the one that informed us that we would not be served, after we overheard her speak to the manager telling him she didn't have time there were numerous people at tables with full bottles that clearly were not going to be done in the next ten minutes. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL, HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL, POOR QUALITY OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I Love Forest Edge Winery & their wine. The wine is the best I have ever had. The staff is very welcoming & service is very quick regardless of how busy they are. I am there at least once every 3 month because I am a Wine Club Member. The Wine Club is awesome, you get 3 bottles of wine of your choosing, every quarter for $30. The interior of the winery in extremely clean & looks & feels like home. They offer wine tastings for $5 to taste 6 wines of your choosing; however, if your a wine club member all tastings are free. My favorites are the Blueberry & Berrylicious (which is basically Blackberry). I would recommend every wine lover to check out Forest Edge Winery!!!

The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. I am a member so it's fun to get way to get free tastings, and discounts on purchases. Also members have advance notice for featured wines, such as, the seasonal pumpkin wine. It is conveniently located off I 65. So, please stop next time you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.

This winery is one of my favorite places to visit. I have gone to several concerts there and each one is a unique and fun experience. The wine tastings are always enjoyable as the staff becomes involved in your selections and responses to the tastings. The wines they make have won numerous awards and are of such a variety that anyone can find one to call their favorite. Highly recommend making a stop here and consider joining their wine club!

Stopped here on our way to the Nashville Food and Wine Festival. In addition to their great selection of wines, there is also great atmosphere, decor and service. Located just off the tasting room is a great gathering space with a TV, small bar and stacked wine barrels along the walls. Our only regret is that they're not located in central Indiana so we could visit more!

We first tried Forest Edge Winery through a Groupon after we were told they have amazing wine. It only took one visit to fall in love with their wine selection and amazing staff. We joined their wine club and have been visiting at least once a quarter, if not more for the past couple years. Their tastings are normally $5 for 6 tastings, but when you become a club member - there is no charge! They also host special quarterly events for club members. I highly recommend joining - it's a great deal. The dry club is $40 for 3 bottles and the sweet club is $30 for 3 bottles. You really can't beat it! In addition to their great wine and staff - they have an amazing space for hosting. A co-worker of mine had a bridal shower there and it was really special. The scenery in the area make for a nice event. They even have a patio in the back.

Awesome wine! People are friendly and polite. They even have a small room for little ones to play in while the adults taste the wines or sit and chat. Great place as well to hold your event. Rooms are comfy and clean. They have privacy if wanted. Prices for rental of rooms are affordable as well.

I went here today and the wine was fantastic. So, why the 3? Well, the lady doing the wine tasting was horrible. She didn't give me crackers or anything in between wines. I saw the other customers getting crackers. Then I noticed the other customers getting twice the sample as me. I bought 3 bottles though because I loved it. But I really think the lady serving me was brand new and no one corrected her nor fixed the problem. She tried to send me home with 3 cold bottles as well, but this was fixed at the register.

Forest Edge Winery is a great place to go have a nice glass of wine in a relaxed atmosphere or partake of a wine tasting to explore new varieties or enjoy old favorites. Most recently, I worked with Allison on selecting a special gift for a favorite departing coworker. This was the second time I've done so in the past 5 years and she made this experience as easy, and the gift as perfect, as she did the last time. The whole Forest Edge staff is warm and friendly and Allison is simply the best! Give them a try; I'm confident you'll enjoy your visit and their delicious assortment of wines.

Great winery with a lot of interesting flavors. I tend to like sweet wines, so I tasted 8 in that range. Really liked the chili and chocolate infused wines, and they make a great Moscato as well! Wound up buying 3 bottles at a very good price. Also, very friendly staff, and a nice, cozy ambiance overall; they even have a cool little play space for kids!

My wife and I joined their wine club because we love the wines. Unlike the last wine club we were in, Forest Edge lets you pick any 3 wines each quarter. I can't speak to how good their dry wines are, but their sweet wines are fantastic. Combine that with their friendly staff and you've got a top-notch winery. Go check them out.

Great wine tasting and delicious wines! We had 6 two ounce tastings for $5, and had a glass of wine after. Most glasses are only $4 or $5 and they have a nice patio to relax on. They have a variety of cheeses available as well. They age a lot of their wine in used bourbon barrels, from Four Roses, Marker's Mark and Jim Beam. You can view them right next to the tasting room. I liked the Rose and Strawberry wine the best!

For many years I have bought wine from the Forest Edge Winery. They are fruity and spicy. There are many types you can try and I guarantee you will love them all. Every night I will have a glass. When we were very young my grandfather (who made wines) would give all the children small mugs to go with our food. Good way to start. Wine is also very good for you in moderation.

Love this place. I've only been twice, but it's super cute. The "Bluegrass Blend" wine is to die for. It's the only wine I drink anymore! Definitely recommend for good wine. They also offer barrel sharing for a fee, though I don't participate I have a friend that does and loves it!

The wine is delicious! The size of the tasting bar is great, but the furnishings leave a lot to be desired. Diner style chairs and tables... doesn’t really make me feel like we are getting away from life. Could be far more inviting. To be fair though, that clearly doesn’t stop us from being a part of the wine club and coming every 3 months.
