My family & I made a trip to Alice n Johns. The wine was wonderful the decor beautiful. Kevin & Tammy were the most gracious & delightful host. It was hard to leave such good company warm & inviting atmosphere.

Owners are a nice couple. Live music was too Country and too loud for the room. Cozy with a warm fireplace. Someone must have complained about being too warm so the owner opened the back door. It was then cold inside.

My sister Lynn and I have visited 3 times because the owners Kevin & Tammy treat us like family, teach us about wine and have the most charming & homey winery we have ever been to. The service is 5 star and the wine is over the top delicious. Yesterday we met a new server, Dilly and she was an absolute sweetheart. Do not miss this place if you are in or near California, KY. Great little winery on a back country road. All the wines were very tasty. Never had a Bloody Mary made with wine but theirs is delish! If your local you should stop!!!

Every wine on the list was good, even my dry wine only husband was happy with every wine he tried. Staff are very friendly and informative. Cute small building, nothing big like elk Creek but very relaxing and calm environment.

Nice small winery. We visited on a Thursday evening and had a glass of wine and a cheese plate. Jalapeno wine was a surprise. Actually had the smell and taste of jalapeno including the bite. Was fantastic in their version of a bloody mary. We'll return to try more of their offerings.
