Amazing wine tasting! The bartenders were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was initially slow but quickly became busy. It is an exceptionally large place with the front room and upstairs. Also there is a back room with large seating area and outdoor patio with more seating. Will be coming back

Carmen Hutchinson

Fantastic full body wine. Take a step back in time with a great bottle of wine. We hung out for quite a while drinking in the history and the grapes.

One of the AMAZING hidden gems in KC!

I'm definitely not a wine expert but my wife and I didn't find any of theirs even decent. Maybe they're fairly new still and haven't quite figured out their wine yet.

We came here today to celebrate a dear friends upcoming wedding. What an amazing experience!!! Great wines, great info, great time!! I highly recommend it!!

Friendly staff helped me pick out a red that ages well as a wedding gift. When I found out I couldn't ship it myself, I returned and they refunded the bottle set up a shipment through them! Thanks! Didn't know it was illegal individuals to ship wine!

I really enjoyed the wine and the building, but the food was awful. The farm to table crackers, tasted like cardboard. The meat platter hardly had any meat and the bread that it came with was soggy. Which stinks, because when you're enjoying a couple glasses of wine with friends and family you really want a small snack. The meat, cheese, and cracker platters at Walmart are better than theirs. The star also wasn't very friendly. They seemed annoyed that we were there. I am hoping these things improve, because I did enjoy the wines and the building.

This place is awesome! Historic, colorful... and where else do you get to see huge barrels of wine row on row? The balcony is delightful and cozy, while allowing a view of the whole place. Oh.. and of course, there's the wine!

Donna Martin

A wonderful winery serving Missouri made wines. We got to experience one of their pairing events- Amigoni wines with Panache chocolates- delicious!

If you enjoy fine wine, you need to experience this place. They have wine tastings, small plates, tours and blending classes (just to name a few of the offerings) Tuesday through Sunday. If you have a group of friends who love wine, you have to check this place out! I will be back for my birthday for more fun and I will be buying more!!

Glenn A

Good wines, all dry, not your normal MO winery fare, definitely worth the higher than average tasting room fee.

My wife and I was on the last day of a business trip and wanted to go have a little wine tasting with some cheese and crackers. They opened at 11 and we arrived about 11:10 on Friday Jan 15, 2016. When we walked in it was as if we had walked into a strangers house by accident. No one was inside to greet us immediately and when she did come out we knew that she was put off with us being in the winery. When we asked for instruction on how things worked it became obvious that we were not welcome. My wife and I walked away from the counter with the wine list unsure of what to do next. We started quietly talking amongst each other about the unfriendly encounter and how awkward we felt. My wife was so happy when I said let's go. We were the only ones in the place and we must've sat in the car for a half hour trying to find another winery close to our location. The whole time nobody else entered the winery and I understand why. If they want to stay in business management better correct this problem.

Great wine and atmosphere. Tucked in a historic Kansas City building. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the selection.

Kyrstin Karr

Seating was scarce, but other than that the ambiance of the whole place was very cool and laid back. They have an awesome 5 wines for 7$ special you can partake in and it's a plus that you get to try 5 wines in the process! Definitely hit this place up if you are in West Bottoms!

Randall Racine

Always one of my favorite KC winery's. Taste room is one of the best. Join the wine club I recommend it!

Credit card information was stolen after visiting this establishment and then used at other local establishments nearby. I recommend you pay in cash if you decide to go here. Credit cards are kept stacked together behind register for open tabs. Very unwise for employee who facilitated this fraud. Police report will be filed

One of our favorite spots in all of Kansas City. We stumbled upon Amigoni while waiting for a table at the now closed Genessee Royale Bistro (RIP...). This was back in May of 2015, and we make it a point to go back whenever we have the opportunity. The wine flights offer a good opportunity to try many of the different wines. We also have really enjoyed interacting with the staff as we always seem to strike up new and interesting conversations. Highly recommend making a stop at Amigoni if you ever find yourself in the West Bottoms area of KC.

Matthew Chrisman

This urban winery in the west bottoms in KC is super cool. Set inside an old building, it offers neat views and interesting architecture, which are worth checking out! The wine is good and they offer a nice selection. They also sell local goods supporting a “drink local” culture. Street parking is available. TVs are available inside, presumably for sports. This place also made it into an episode of Queer Eye! Prices are standard and they offer flights of wine tastings.

Jordan Bressman

So fun

Barbi Wood

Interesting venue. I liked the wine barrels behind glass and that they have brought back to life an old building. Whether or not someone likes wines is personal so who am I to say if they are good or not. I sampled two reds that I thought had an interesting peppery flavor. They do not make any sweet wines as they want to be similar to California wineries. Some of the grapes are grown locally and some are brought in from California.

Anthony Evangelista

It was comfortable atmosphere the wine was good and the wine tasting was really fun with friends.

I love it! A beautiful space, but the bartenders don't do a good job at instructing people to have a set or step away from the bar once they start. When you need a refill, you can't get through the line of people that have been standing there the whole time. I had to ask another guest to move so I could reach the bar, she did with a snide face and rude retort. I dont want my time there spent in conflict with other guests. They either need a server that will come out from behind the bar or pay attention to the people standing 2nd deep at bar.

Nicole Lowery

$7 tasting with knowledgeable bartenders. Enjoyed the experience!

Jennifer Johnson

Tried several different wines and didn't like any of them.

I officiate a lot of weddings and I had to leave a review of this fantastic place! I love it. Especially if you are doing a small-ish wedding but want tons of character and great service. The owners are amazing to work with, the staff are flawless and the wine is delightful. You can't go wrong with Amigoni Urban Winery. Plus, it's located in the very hip, very cool Westbottoms, this place gets 5 stars on all points.

Went to a wedding reception here. The space was interesting. One big room when you first walk in with a bar, then a back room of about the same size up a small staircase, also with a bar. There is an upstairs above the first room that you can go up to that overlooks it that is kind of neat. The ceiling is rather low, but it's a pretty nice event space for small to medium crowds.

Amy Chapman Navarro

Great place to come for a quick wine tasting

Amanda Boyers

We came on a Sunday. The wine was good and the service was great, but the echoes were unbearable from the small crowd. A huge rug in the entry space and something on the walls to absorb all the sound would be great.

Kyndra Morris

My daughter and husband had their wedding rehearsal dinner at the winery. It was amazing and we catered in Q39 for dinner.

Sean Noack

An accessible and unpretentious tasting with 5 excellent wines. Not a white wine guy and both offered through the tasting were excellent without forsaking taste for dryness. Then they followed it up with a fantastic blueberry merlot and 2 great reds. Will be returning!

Wine tastings at a reasonable price and a fun atmosphere. Delicious wine. Can get loud and crowded, especially on a gloomy day when everyone has to be inside. Wish they had more food options!

Cathy Sahlfeld

Outstanding urban winery. Service and wine were spectacular and generous. Answered every question we had about the wine. Gorgeous building.

We went on a tour with 15 people the owner was great and the wine was good

Jim Dawson

Sorry but not a friendly place. Our wine server, if you can call her that, was rude and very abrupt. She did not greet us warmly and seemed rather put out when I asked her to give us instructions on how the place works. When I had to beg for clean wine glasses after the 1st wine flight I knew this was not going to be a pleasant experience. The facility was really neat and the wines interesting but unfortunately, I will not be back soon.

You may think that you don't like Missouri wine, but this isn't like most Missouri wine. It's good! The space is amazing and the staff is friendly (so much I got married here).

Our Avant team had a great time today! Great place for team building. THANKS!!

Nalisa Pouliot

Our first visit, the bar just as you walk in was busy. The owner invited us to go up into the other tasting room. Wow...great ambiance and great staff. Loved our bartenders during our tasting!! The best part, as you are ready to move onto the next tasting, if one bartender is busy the other one can do the next pour and tell you about that wine. It also allowed for them each to share their favorites and why. Again, can't say enough about the service and friendliness of this winery and loved their wines!!!

Mitch Buzzo

Our guy pouring our tastings was fun, friendly, knowlegable, and full of city tips. Best part of the winery. Outside of the Barbera nothing impressed me too much. Nice building with some history. To the owner (winemaker) you could be a bit more outgoing if you're going to be behind the bar, otherwise just do your work in the office away from people... And maybe not update the only computer behind the bar during the day.

RAJ HOSSAIN

A wonderful winery serving Missouri made wines. We got to experience one of their pairing events- Amigoni wines with Panache chocolates- delicious!

Heather Campbell

Unique winery in the city. This is in the middle of the West Bottoms, in the old Daily Drover Telegram Newspaper building. They have done a beautiful job of renovating the building, and the tasting room is very cheery and bright. The upstairs is a nice seating area with lots of windows. The plates here are not very big, so don't plan on getting full that way. The wine is good, most of the options are dry. The best deal is the flight--five generous samples for $6. You can also do a flight of local beer (Boulevard)--four for $8.

Dry wines. Good service. Cool atmosphere.

Winery in the inner city, very different and fun

B H

Urban setting for wine tasting and small to medium sized events in a beautifully restored newspaper printing shop. The wines are pretty good and the place has a chill, hipster vibe. Give it a try and I bet you won't leave disappointed.

Carolyn J Cummings

Was beautiful and the wine was wonderful

Hank Wedelich

Wonderful wine. Great tasting service.

Mary Beth LeCluyse

Beautiful historic building and wonderful wines and beers.
