Wine samples were small compared to other Iowa wineries I have visited. The two I sampled were enjoyable. I purchased a glass for $7...that seemed a bit high. Also they charge a corkage fee if you want to enjoy a bottle of their wine on premise. That was an incentive not to buy and enjoy there...that corkage fee was a first for me. I did purchase a bottle to enjoy at home.

Although we made a reservation we were unwelcome from the second we stepped in. My fiancé was leaning against the bar and the bartender rudely asked “do you NEED something” wine taste didn’t outweigh the horrible customer service.

Love the Summer Concert Series. Was here a couple weeks ago when Brazilian Twins played and there was a huge crowd. I rated 4 instead of 5 stars because it can be really difficult to find parking. The wine and sangria are good and the Madhouse brews on tap mean there is something for everyone. Also, this is a family friendly environment so bringing the kids is not an issue. You can pack your own food or there are some options available on the grill and food trucks.

We rented Jasper Winery for a work event this fall and everyone had a blast! The staff was super helpful and friendly. They allowed us to use both the indoor and outdoor space along with the tent that was set up outside. This is a great spot to sit and chat with friends and it's also just off the bike trail if you prefer to travel by two wheels.

I held an annual party for my employees at Jasper Winery over the weekend. Katie was fantastic and easy to work with, the others I've met there are great too! They were flexible with our preferences and offer wine that caters to the tastes from very sweet to quite dry (they have some good dry red wines!) plus beer and non-alcoholic drinks. It was nice to be able to move the party inside and outside. They also had a good sound system and I could plug in my i-pod to play indoors and outdoors. They let us use our own caterer and had all we needed as far as table cloths and trash removal. They even worked with us to keep costs far lower than I'd anticipated, which was an added bonus! I would highly recommend planning an event at Jasper.

Was able to purchase a bottle of red wine and consume it with a friend in comfy chairs in front of a fireplace. It was a dry red from Iowa and surprisingly tasted good.

As a group, we felt completely unwelcomed and rushed through the tasting. Had to keep reminding server that we hadn't been served from the bottle she was rushing to put away. Samples were served in plastic cups, and the amount was so small it barely covered the bottom of the cup - very difficult to give it a good sniff or 2-3 sip tasting! Personally did not enjoy any of the wines (whites/rosés very sweet). First winery visit (of many) where I chose not to purchase a bottle(s). Outdoor grounds pretty, good sized patio.

This is the best winery I have been to. The atmosphere reminds me of downtown Seattle and Bellevue where I use to live. The folks running this place are awesome. The wine and beer are awesome. If someone is looking for a great wine, do a tasting and if you like port just buy it on the spot, its delicious! A big thanks and congratulations goes out to this business. I'll be bach!

Always a fun time on Thursday nights for live music outdoors! $7 for a glass of your wine is pushing it though--I passed on a 2nd. More bathrooms for the ladies would be lovely--spent a looooong time waiting in line! The Brazilian 2wins are awesome!

Jasper Winery is a tranquil location just west of Grays Lake. This downtown estate style winery has modern features and helpful staff. Thursday nights during the summer be sure to stop down for the FREE Summer Concert Series. I recommend brining a lawn chair or blanket and getting there early. Secret parking in the large grass lot south of the property.

This isn't one of those quiet, out-in-the-country locations, but it was a great way to spend a couple of hours of a relaxing afternoon. Despite the location, it was actually very quiet and seemed secluded. The wines were good, too.

Beautiful atmosphere! However, I had scheduled a week out for 15 of us to come wine taste. I was asked when I booked to call and give a heads up when we we're on our way with final count of group. So, I called 35 minutes before our scheduled time and we arrived about 10 minutes beforehand. We waited almost 25 minutes AFTER our scheduled wine tasting on patio before we were served. And then when we ordered two bottles to split after our tasting, the young lady brought two bottles that weren't right and when we asked if she'd fix it she ask us to bring our own bottles back in and if we could "uncork" our next bottles ourselves since she was too busy inside to take care of us. I was just disappointed in the service. The wine, atmosphere, and cheese were all amazing. I would definitely buy your wine but not recommend a tasting after the service we had.

Nice place! The toilet in the men's restroom handicap stall is rocking indicating a broken seal on the toilet. It needs a new wax ring and to be shimmed and to prevent Methane Gas from entering the facility. Also there was no soap to wash your hand leaving people using the facility to spread germs such as ecoli on doors and tables where people were eating. Just saying!
