Great selection and prices. There are usually clearance items, so it's a great opportunity to try something different. There is often someone knowledge around to answer any questions about the beers. The place has changed names, remodeled a little, and is no longer cash only.

Don't be deterred by their "cash only" policy, there's a Triton ATM by the counter whose fee is easily outweighed by the savings if you forgot to bring money. Compared to the other liquor stores in the area like Kahn's and 21st Amendment, this place is tops. Not only are their prices lower, but their overall selection of singles and craft beers is just as good if not better. Their friendliness and customer service is also top notch, its much more of a local, "neighborhood" shop compared to the other stores. Do yourself a favor, shop at A-1.

I have been a customer of A-1 Liquor for 3-4 years and I can highly recommend them for all your liquor needs! They are cash only- which allows them to keep their prices down, and I can tell you their prices are the best in town! Not only awesome prices, but they also have an excellent selection. Beer- from basic to craft to imports, and lots of single bottle options to try before you buy a 6-pack! They have a great bourbon selection, and a modest and expanding scotch selection. Their wine selection is very good: most being under $30, though they do have many higher priced as well. Their clearance wines are extensive and worth trying. My wife & I have enjoyed several wines that drink like a $10-20 wine from their clearance shelves for only $4-7! The owners and staff are also very friendly and helpful!

There are some things here (Flying Dog for example) that i haven't seen anywhere else locally. Be sure to bring cash to get a small discount on your purchase.

Good selection, the bourbon allocation is very fair with all the allocated stuff being raffled off to whoever gets to purchase it. Good selection of craft beer of all kinds. I got some Bourbon barrel aged expedition stout there, and it was priced a few dollars lower than anywhere else I could find it. Clerks are always nice and the man who owns it is very genuine. There's almost always an officer or security there if you're sketched out about going in there yourself.
