I am not a big wine drinker but on Friday night they have a "wine down" with live music. That is very fun. Buck Tooth Sugarbush plays great music. Seating for this event is unpredictable and often very crowded.

We had a great experience here! Customer service was excellent and we enjoyed the wine. There is a large selection of wines for tasting and although some had been open for some time they still tasted fresh due to their storage system.

Love it, great place for all to sit and enjoy the best wine in the county. Fun fact I learned while here, this winery provides the wine for Jonamac Orchards winery. The food is also soo flavorful and mostly made from scratch which you can taste as well, great quality.

Hidden gem! My husband and I found Prarie State yesterday afternoon while on a quest for the perfect fall ambiance. Not only was every wine we sampled delicious and well balanced but the service was impeccable. In a competitive society where everyone is trying to be bigger and better, it is refreshing to see a business nail simplicity so well. Prarie State doesn't need any bells and whistles because the entire customer experience they have created is that good. We will most certainly be back and will be customers for life!

The people who work the bar really know their stuff. Wow the energy and enthusiasm! The pour is good for the price and there's a great variety of wine to choose from. My girl and I sat down for lunch with a glass of our favorite wine. The Panini's were awesome! The only thing I will negatively critique is the soup. The toast was stale and hard as a rock and the minestrone was bland and tasteless. Get the pickle instead. Still, I wouldn't deduct a star for something that's not core to the experience. You'll not be disappointed coming here. The decor is cozy. Can't wait to see the patio when it's not winter!

This is a fun place. Wine is tasty and affordable Their port is excellent. On Sun. Music-mostly jazz and blues in a comfortable atmosphere with their verson of a Bloody Mary made of wine. Have a great afternoon at Genoa!

Quaint little wine store in Genoa. I think my review is a little biased since I used to rent the apartment above this hidden gem. Cheap but yummy wines and they know and love their products, you can tell by the way talk about it.

Local wines with and good tasting options. Enjoyed the atmosphere, the choice of appetizer choices, and of course, the fine selection of local wines. They have a nice courtyard patio that makes for a casual Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

We just discovered a bottle of semisweet Pioneer Red in a rack we have that we had forgotten about and it has been probably 15 years ago that we visited Genoa and discovered you. Opened it tonight and it is absolutely the best red we ever had!!!

Very beautiful backyard to sit and enjoy your wine or you can stay inside the clerk's they really know what's good and what's not what's Smokey and what's spicy or citrusy you can actually take your time picking and choosing your variety.
