When pulling up, I'm thinking to myself that this is a "happening place ". Much to my surprise, it wasn't, at least not for me. It took us over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged, even after the gentleman unloading the dishwasher looked at us several times and didn't say a word. Once waited upon, we were not told anything about the wines, or history in the making. She just poured the glass, and moved on to other people. We were very turned off by this and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Cannot day enough good things about Honker Hill! The wine, scenery, entertainment, and service were all amazing. I came along with 24 other girls for my bachelorette party and we had a blast! The manager kept checking in to make sure we were all taken care of and the two man band that day made for some great dancing! They even sent me home with some souvenirs. Thanks Honker Hill for the perfect Saturday afternoon!

The place looks great from the outside (beautiful lake in back), but the wine is horrid. Music was way too loud (man playing guitar had amp cranked up to 11).

We stopped at this place on the way to Nashville because it was close to the interstate. The staff was great to talk to and offered us some good information about their wine offerings. We liked the blush so much that we bought two bottles. This location is in the path of the 2024 solar eclipse and we're hoping to make another trip. We walked through the vineyards, sat in the gazebo and quietly drink our wine in serene settings. Thoroughly enjoyed the stop.

Perfect setting wonderful wine, and outstanding host. At this place you would have the best time sipping wine at the side of lake on a crisp thouthern Illinois night, while enjoying the warmth of the huge fire place you see in the photos. Unforgettable night

Nice outdoors seating and view but The wines are bad. Dry red feels like from a cube wine. Almost to the point of buying a bottled beer here. Limited snacks as well.
