Great hidden gem. Very friendly people, made for a great afternoon.

My friends and I had an extraordinary experience at Fergedaboudit Winery! The space was lovey, the vista was gorgeous and the wines were unique and delicious. Best of all, our hostess, Frieda, was wonderfully friendly, generous with her knowledge of the wines, the winery, and the history of the area. She took lots of extra time to give us a wine-tasting event that fed our souls as well as our palettes! The place is a little hard to find, but very well worth the trip! Don't miss it!!

Vicki and her team are always a pleasure! Our wine club membership is a great reason to go back and try new wines once a quarter and pick up some tasty gifts.

Nice drive out to the winery with great signage so it is easy to find. We did the 6 for $6 tasting. We prefer sweet wines so most of the wines were not to our liking. If found the Moscato to actually be very dry but we were told that is the way the winemaker wants it to taste because he doesn't like sweet wine. Tasting room attendant didn't offer anything in the way of history of the winery or winemaker but kept dropping names like we had any idea who she was talking about. Felt like she was reading from a script and didn't have much personality. We did enjoy the wine slushies and the port was very good. Found it to be very expensive. Port was $38 so we couldn't buy anything else. Worth the trip if you like dry wine.

Spent a wonderful afternoon at the winery tasting wine, then drinking a bottle of our favorite one - all the while listening to great music. This was our favorite one near Galena.

Justin Fletcher

Great scenery!!! Beautiful building!! NEW port wine. Best taste out of their selection. Highly recommend their Port wine.

Luke Lauritzen

This place is amazing! They have several tasting options, a couple versions of which you can try all their wines. The owner and associate that served us were terrific. Very knowledgeable and fun people. The outdoor area is incredible; views that need to be captured, outdoor seating, decorative water landscaping, a deck with live music on Saturdays, altogether breathtaking. And the wine was...WOW! Left with two cases.

We found a gem! From the moment we walked in the door, the experience was as good if not better than some of the wineries we've visited in Napa. Our pallets prefer the red variety and they were not disappointed here. One of the highlights of our visit, other than the great wine, was meeting and talking to Rosario, the owner and winemaker. We had so much fun talking to him and learning about the his family winery. We would highly recommend Fergetaboutit! And we definitely won't forget about it! We'll be back.

This winery is amazing! The view is glorious and is only beaten by the wonderful staff. Vickie is spectacular!! They answered any questions we had and even stayed late having a glass of wine with us. Very personable and makes you feel right at home. My friends and I had a stellar time and would return without hesitation. Five stars plus two ;)

Awesome staff! Everyone here is really friendly and great to talk to. And the wine slushies were kick ass! Definitely recommend of your wine tasting by Galena.

Vicki is the best winery owner ever. What a great time.

fred freitag

Lovely tasting room, generous tastes of their wines some from their grapes some imported. Very friendly staff and owner. Wine was the best we tasted of several of the bigger locals, worth the 20 minute drive from Galena.

Gail Farr

Stopped out for a tasting after coming from another winery. Customer service was awful. She was rude and had no communication skills. Don’t ask us what we want and then turn and help someone else!!

Angie Miller

Fun experience at the Fergedaboudit winery! Great views, friendly service and stories about the family, and variety of wine options.

Kevin Pologruto

The wine there is awesome. My wife and I love drier wines and we found a winery that does them well. The views are spectacular and the tasting room is very clean and decorated well. The PSP with the two ponds is so tranquil. Highly recommend sitting out there with the cheese platter and a bottle.

Vitalia Dosta

Was here yesterday for my best friends Bachelorette party. The wine was, to my great surprise, really delicious! It had character and there were multiple options for everyone. We ended up buying 6 bottles! The staff was awesome too!

We were in Galena for the night! Taking a ride down Blackjack we saw a sign for Fergedaboudit Vineyard & Winery, 13.5 miles. So we took the ride and had a wonderful time with Cindy, Rick and Pat! The wine was good, we are sweet wine drinkers, so not a lot of variety there, however Cindy was the best sales person and we left with wine, wine oil, glasses and wine slushy mix! We are also waiting to order a shirt from their vineyard. Additionally Rick and Pat were from our childhood home town! Small world!! We will definetly be returning here on our next trip to Galena!!! Thanks to you all for treating us so well today!!

Good wine and beautiful location

In today's world the companies that really stand out are those that recover gracefully when things go wrong. That's what makes me want to write a 5 star review for this winery. I bought a couple bottles of wine to take home after a trip to Galena. I saved my favorite bottle opening it maybe 3 or 4 months after our visit. Unfortunately it had experienced extreme cork seepage and the bottle had spoiled. I reached out to the winery immediately explaining the situation and providing pictures. Here's what separates Fergedaboudit from the pack: Vicki responded in a timely matter, very apologetic and assuring me this is a rarity, but it can happen. She didn't doubt or question me, she didn't give me the run around on a complicated return process, she simply offered to send me a replacement bottle. This was not a cheap replacement bottle. Shipping was over $20, but Vicki didn't hesitate, provided great service and communication along the way, even adding a handwritten note inside my package. Stellar customer service by Vicki and the winery! Companies like this will continue to thrive because they make the customer experience positive even when things go wrong. I can't wait to enjoy my Carmenere!

We were the first customers of the day, Vicky and Pat treated us like family. The were very generous with the tastings and gave great advice. The wine slushies and cheese tray were good too.

Andrea Jahn

Beautiful winery and great if you want Italian wine. We had a group of 43 people and they did such a great job serving everyone. They were out of their port wine when we got there but had gotten some bottled up for us to purchase. I definitely recommend going here
