I stopped here in my RV for the night as a part of the Harvest Hosts network. The restaurant is very nice, and the food was fantastic. I got the pork steak. It was perfectly smoked and crispy on the outside and so tender on the inside that I never had to use the knife. The baked beans were an unexpected treat as well. They weren't your standard baked beans. They were a mix of different types of beans with plenty of pork and sausage in the mix. I don't live anywhere near here and was just passing through, but I'll make an effort to come by here again if I get a chance.

Excellent food, the ribs, pulled pork and brisket are a must try. We love the other activities for the kids, mini golf,volleyball court, allows us some time with adults. I am always amazed at the new additions to the facility and the great local bands in the evenings.

Cool place and decent menu options. The staff was friendly but didn't get everything right with the order. The food was good, country fried steak was good, but my friend's chicken was dry.

We had a small event for about 35 people here recently. Everything was perfect. The food was wonderful and they really took care of us with the amount. The drinks were tasty and the atmosphere was excellent. Working with the staff during the event and the event coordinator before was easy and everyone was so friendly and accomidating. I will say that I would avoid events on the sunporch on hot summer days because our time there was pretty toasty. Luckily they did not seem to mind that we spilled over into the bigger (much cooler) banquet room. Some of our party stayed for the band and had a great night.

I've been there multiple times and the food is always wonderful. Plus you can't beat the decor! I admit that I was not fully on board with the mounted animals on the wall but they are so interesting to see up close! The service is okay. Sometimes it is great, sometimes it is a miss. It just depends on who you get!

The food was wonderful. I had the catfish and she had the shrimp. It took forever for a server to get to us. The salads came out after about 30 minutes. The main courses immediately followed. As we were eating I watched the hostess drop the napkins and silverware for a table. She stopped, looked around and put it the napkins and silverware on the table. I told a Manager what I saw. She asked what she could do for me. I told her I was concerned that my utensils were on the floor too. She shrugged her shoulders. I don't think I'll be back.

This was the third time giving this place a try. The first visit was wonderful! The last two times were awful! Wife and I both ordered the prime rib. I ordered mine medium rare, wife ordered medium. Both of them came out well done. I sent mine back, wife dealt with hers. Once my wife and son were half done eating mine dinner showed back up. Steak was medium rare and sides were all now cold. Steak had the worst flavor of burnt char through out. Worst steak I have ever eaten. No compensation for the steak was offered, therefore this was our last visit. If you are in the area and want a good steak, this is not the answer.

Bartender was on it, while we waited 30 min. On a table. But after we got to the table waited 15 to 20 min. With everyone running back and forth past our table, and no one stopping at our table we left! So we went to Hardee's! But we dud come back to here the band. BBB was great!

Bretz Wildlife Lodge & Winery is a great location with a very unique but also very enjoyable ambiance. The service was great and the food came out quickly. I would have to recommend the sweet potatoe french fries to get as the side to whichever meal you order because they are absolutely delicious! Overall, if you are in the area I highly recommend to try out Bretz Wildlife Lodge & Winery.

Went for New Year's with a party of 15 and everyone who ordered pasta in the party thought it was horrible ! 5 people took only 1 to 2 bites out of dish and not one server or bus boy asked if there was a problem and carried 5 huge bowels of pasta away barely touched! waitress was not very personable
