Wanted to taste the wine. No one there to help us. Waste of time to go way off hway for nothing

We had a decent experience just doing the wine tasting. It's $7 for 5, 1 ounce tastes and if you buy a wine your fee is waived. The weird thing was we just stood at the tasting bar and weren't offered a place to sit (there were no chairs.) The staff was friendly enough. It was just not being offered a place to sit threw me off.

I am sorry to say I am not happy with them. I was booked for the Murder Mystery dinner on April 16th. I was not contacted it was cancelled. I found out from a friend on Thursday. I am from Utah about a 3-4 hour drive away. Also, if I hadn't of heard by word of mouth and called them (as when I made my reservation I asked if they needed my phone or email I was told no) how would I have been contacted. Also, the web site was never updated that it was cancelled and still isn't. I am still waiting on my cc to be credited. I called them and was told a manager would call me back only to receive no call back.

From Montana to visit Idaho wineries and stopped for our first visit. Unable to serve any wine as their liquor license was expired. Unbelievable! You own a winery!!

What a rip off! I went with some of my friends to their murder mystery. What a disappointment. We went to one in Boise and really enjoyed and thought we'd go down and see this one. The food was okay but the show was boring and obvious. We expected a lot for the price we paid. I would not recommend this place at all.

Great wine, foods not bad

Reviewing the RV park...Don't expect anything amazing but do expect train horns. As for the winery, it was worth the 4 hour drive.

Although the winery and the restaurant were a pleasant experience, the campground was anything but pleasant. The owners did not have any rules of behavior, we encountered a bunch of people that were playing games outside until well after midnight. The people were at fault for not being considerate of other campers, but the winery was at fault for not posting and/or enforcing any rules.

We had the stuffed mushrooms appetizer tested wines had drinks beer then on to a delicious dinner even with special requirements and special orders. They were very accommodating it was a Sunday evening fantastic delicious food everyone left totally stuffed in full. We were up camping and decided not to make dinner to have someone else make us dinner would recommend this place highly if you want good food it's not a bar food cheap place to go well worth what we spent.

This is a very classy, very nice winery. It has a nice, locals bar, and it has a deluxe restaurant, too. And, if you want to just sample some wine and buy a bottle or a case, then there's a place for that, too. I really like the bar. People are really friendly here, and it's a great place for a beer. The grounds are very nice, and it's a fun place to walk around and explore. It's very close to the river, too.

Good food and service, great people...

Very disappointed, will not be going back. We were doing a wine trip over Mothers’ Day weekend stopped here for the Passion Peach Sangria. About two weeks later, the bottles started popping their corks, a mistake usually faced by home brewers not wineries. I sent an email to the Crossings describing what happened and wondering what their thoughts were, I did not get a reply. After a few days, the bottle we had given a friend popped its cork, the called us late at night as they were mopping up the mess in their dining room (Sangria is very sweet and sticky). This prompted me to again try and contact the Crossings, this is the email sent on the 22nd of May… o To Whom It May Concern, Update: I was not planning on contacting you again until Tuesday (if I had not heard from you) however, we were contacted by one of our family friends whom we had given a bottle of the Sangria to. We were under the impression they had already enjoyed the gift but as it turns out they were saving it for a special occasion. Well not anymore. Their bottle popped its cork last evening, as of 10:00 pm they were mopping up the contents. That makes ten of twelve bottles popping their corks. The main reason I am sending you this update is to caution you if you have large amounts of this batch of Sangria on hand. I have to admit the thought of dozens of bottles popping their corks randomly all over your winery was at first funny and brought a smile to my face however, that quickly changed. As an adult, I understand that corks bouncing around, spilled Sangria, and lost revenue for your business is no laughing matter. Again, I would urge caution and concern and recommend that you locate and isolate the batch. And prepare yourselves for other communications from other individuals. Again, looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this… Richard And this was the reply from Douglas Jones, Owner/General Manager. Richard, Thank You. Can you tell me when and where it was bought and the storage conditions it was stored in. This information would help up greatly. Douglas Jones My response on the 23rd. Douglas, I see you are responding to my second email, did you get my first? The Case of Peach Sangria was purchased at the Crossings Winery, May 6th, at about 5:00 pm (we posted a photo on Facebook). We actually had them stored in three different ways, some were in the wine cooler horizontal, some were in the wine rack, semi-horizontal, some were standing vertical on a shelf. The wine rack and storage locations is climate controlled and out of any sunlight, direct or indirect. We purchased wine from numerous wineries that weekend, of all types, and all of them were stored in one or more of these three manors with no issues. As for our family friend, they stored their bottle in a standard semi-horizontal wine rack. If you have any more questions, please let me know. Rick. Since then I have heard nothing. I have tried to contact them, on the 24th…And on the 31st of May… And as of today, still nothing. So, I am still disappointed with the Crossing Winery and the Owner/General Manager, Mr. Douglas Jones. We will not be returning, and I hope others will consider what we went through prior to visiting… Update: Just received an email from the Crossings with an apologies and offer of replacements. I am happy they responded, finally. Will change the star rating to three...

Their website states $13 senior rate for 9 holes, I asked for the senior rate because I'm 74. The total for 9 holes and a cart cost me $29.68! So golf cart rental was about $16 for 9 holes... that's a rip off. Senior rate for a cart for 9 holes is $9 at Ridgecrest golf course. Course needed maintenance. Fairways were okay but greens were awful. Areas of the greens had grass as tall as the grass on the fairways. Most of the greens had small dirt clots all over the greens, putting wasn't enjoyable at all. My friends and I won't return.

Becky Larson

Male dominated awfulness. Don't go here. The ambiance is awful as is the food.

We stopped by while staying at the state park. The grounds where very pretty and the building that the wine tasting/ restaurant/ pub was very classic old world design. As we went inside the staff was very accommodating in the wine tasting. We learned about their wines and they guided us on what we might like to try. We left with a lovely experience and will be back.

My wife and I went to the Crossings Winery for our 27th Anniversary dinner and camped at the RV park across the street. I made these arrangements two weeks prior and wasn't aware at the time it was going to be extremely HOT at 111 degrees that day! We had planned on leaving by 1 pm but I was late getting off of work that morning which delayed our departure. We arrived at approximately 3:45 pm and checked in with a pleasant young lady at the desk and went to set up camp since we had 6 pm dinner reservations. When we arrived at our RV space it was 110 degrees so I left my wife and Yorkie in the truck with the A/C running until I was able to provide power to the RV and turn the A/C unit on. Setting up camp took longer than expected due to the intense heat so I called the desk to see if I could change our dinner reservations to 6:30 pm which was accomplished without a problem. My wife and I arrived for dinner and the dining room was closed. We were informed by a very apologetic gal that due to the extreme heat today the dining room A/C unit was not adequate for patrons to have dinner there and we were offered the same dinner menu and services in the bar area. Without any other option we accepted and were escorted to a table in the bar area which I believe turned out to be the best thing that could of happened for us! We were greeted by our server Nancy and we began the dinner with a calamari appetizer and drinks. The calamari was wonderful and Nancy spoiled us incredibly for the rest of the evening! A short time later we ordered a prime rib and chicken marsala dinner as two gentleman were setting up the stage and tuning guitars for their music. The music began and these guys were entertaining and very interactive with the patrons. Our dinner was incredible while enjoying the music and interacting with the musicians who were awesome! We enjoyed a wonderful evening and were well taken care of by both the staff and the musicians. My wife and I will return soon for another dinner but after this experience we will be asking to have dinner served in the bar area instead of the dining room where we can enjoy the music! It was a great anniversary evening and I would have given a 5 star rating if the A/C would have been functioning and the dining room would have been open but I'm convinced it wouldn't have been near the evening we enjoyed!

This place is beautiful! My boyfriend and I ventured to Glenns Ferry for our anniversary, and we had a very wonderful experience here at Crossings. Upon check-in, we were greeted by a sprightly host with a warm, welcoming smile. She handed us our cabin key, gave us directions to the cabin, and answered any questions we had. Once we arrived to our cabin, we were very pleased with the coziness and comfort. The biggest downside to the cabin was that, being it was in the middle of July, it was very hot and the a/c was not running. This wasn't an issue as we weren't immediately utilizing the cabin, so we ran the a/c while we ventured to dinner and the bar. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms as our first appetizer, and they were very tasty! They were served quickly, and fresh, so they were hot and melty. Our next appetizer was the calamari - BEST calamari I've ever tasted, hands down! I ordered, after the advice of the waitress, a peach sangria that was very refreshing and delicious (which I had several more through out the night), while my boyfriend had a whisky and Coke. Both drinks were well made, and tasted on point. We both ordered the ribeye steak... these things were massive! We could've ordered 1 and shared it, and had leftovers. The summer veggie blend was cooked and seasoned well, and the potato was also excellent. Because we had so much food and not enough room left in our bellies, we weren't able to experience the desserts. We had leftovers which they offered to hold for us until morning came since there is no refrigeration in the cabin. We ventured off to the bar after dinner. The bartender was very friendly and attentive to us. The bar was very mellow, with one gentleman on stage singing and playing instruments. We stayed for several hours and enjoyed the drinks, the environment, and the scenery. We were able to take our drinks back to the cabin with us so that we could enjoy the front porch rocking chairs underneath the stars, which to us was very neat as we're from Utah and those types of things aren't allowed where we're from lol. We made our way back to the cabin which, at this point, had cooled down significantly and was very comfortable. We spent a couple of hours on the porch, stargazing and enjoying the serene summer night. Once we decided to get to bed, we were pleased with the comfort the bed offered. Once morning came, we got ready and ran into an issue of no toilet paper left! Also, the shower is just a bit small, but that is ok because I was grateful to have a place to wash myself. Once we were ready to checkout, the staff so kindly arranged for our leftovers from the night before to be created into a brunch type meal. We were so pleased with this gesture, and felt like we've received top notch service from the second we arrived, until we ventured back into the real world. We ran into very minor issues while here at Crossings, but the service and experience we received surpassed any issues we had. The only issue we really had that put us in a small bind was the toilet paper being gone, but we made due with what we had. I have already recommended Crossings to several friends and family members. We may be coming back next July for our next anniversary, and this may be our annual tradition. Hopefully, it won't be as hot and we can try out the golf course. Thanks again for your hospitality and world-class service. We cannot wait to come back and have another amazing experience!

What a wonderful surprise to eat here! We were traveling from Portland to Twin Falls and were too hungry to go on to Twin Falls for dinner. Thought we could find a place in Mountain Home...no luck. Saw a sign for a winery and followed a convulated way thru little town neighborhoods to this lovely place. Gracious waitress, great food and service, beautiful flowers.

We wanted to find a special place to go to celebrate Fathers Day for my husband and son. The service was not good at all. Waitress put our appetizers on two other tables before bringing them to our table. My husband ordered a small salad to begin his meal and it was never received, the clams were dime size, spicy shrimp linguine had no spice; no shrimp with a very odd sauce (unedible), chicken Marsala was prepared like I’ve never had it before. It’s a very sweet sauce that was not tasty. No drink refills throughout the entire meal. Have a glass of wine and leave because the food isn’t worth eating unfortunately.

Beautiful!

Beautiful location, but will not go there for the restaurant again. The food is extremely overpriced and the service is really, really slow. Everything there seems in disarray and very unorganized. Disappointed, was hoping the new ownership would have made the place better.

A nice little winery tucked away by Three Rivers Crossing state park. They specialize in white wines but offer reds from a nearby winery. They serve lunch and dinner. The lunch menu is somewhat basic sandwiches and things. Dinner is the more exciting menu. They also have special holiday events as host the occasional wedding.

Mikki Beadz

We had our family Thanksgiving here last year and was very impressed the food was endless and delicious! Last night me and my spouse went on our date. The buffalo steak was amazing! I highly recommend their food as well as their red wines!

Dave Dudley

They are currently in the process of re-branding to YNot and their wines are already there. Had a beautiful lunch on the back deck. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and the sampler flight of wines was pretty good. We ended up leaving with a bottle we liked and will definitely return.

Susan B

Good wines, friendly staff. Tasting free if buy a bottle.

Rich Thomas

Friendly staff and inviting atmosphere but food was not up to par and flavor was missing. They use the same grease to fry check in as they do fish and Seafood.

John Sommer

Great service and food!

Got kick out for just driving a golf kart going to the green and hit a tree root that I didn’t see and one of the greens keep seen me and kick me and my freind out. Won’t go back

Jim Fielder

I played golf and course was not maintained so well. Was bunched in the middle of couple of other groups with nobody else playing other holes (we moved to 4th hole and had it to ourselves). 3 of us played Falcon Crest Championship course the day before for $30 less. Was busy but so much better of an experience. I would say that the winery has a good idea, but needs to look at the prices and be reasonable.

Rocky Compton

Good food great wine & very nice staff

Tricia Pahner

Good food, cute place

Great little winery in the small town of Glen Ferry. Food was good and the people where nice. Enjoyed the wine tasting, reisilings and reds where just right - only wished I could have stayed longer. Conveniently located near a State Campground however learned after they also have cabins and R.V. spaces.

Cindy Rach

Very nice place to sit out on the deck, have dinner and try out some of their wines. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Food was good and the atmosphere perfectly relaxing after a long day on the road. They even allowed us to have our dog on the deck. Oh, and try the wines! Very good!

Allen Hess

Very nice staff and the restaurant was great , golfing is always enjoyable here

What a great place! You have to stop and check this little gem out.

The lady that greeted us was not pleasant we seemed to be annoying her even though we had reservations.....we had 6:40 reservations didn’t receive ANY FOOD until 8:00....the waitress was nice, felt sorry for her because the kitchen wasn’t helping her any, the food was not good...2 of the 7 people in our group were satisfied....barely. Apparently the fact that there was a wedding that night was why everything was messed up....advice to management....you know WELL IN ADVANCE when you have a wedding coming in....either staff up or shut down your restaurant if you can’t handle both.......wine was so so......POSITIVE....the waitress felt so bad about the wait she compted some of the meal....thank you!

Steve Nottingham

We were wandering back to Utah and stumbled into this cute place set at the Oregon trail crossing of the snake river. There are vineyards, the river, and a golf course. We opted for a wine flight and snacks outside. $12 for the wine with 5 two ounce pours. You can drink five 1 ounce pours at the bar for $7 and that is good toward a bottle of wine. The $12 flight isn't good toward a bottle but we like sitting outside. I'm not a wine critic but my gf didn't hate any of the wines. Which I can't say about every winery.
