At this moment this business receives a score of 4.6 over 5 and that rating has been calculated on 122 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is almost the top, and it is founded on a very high number of scores, so we may be pretty sure that the valuation is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their review when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to write reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Winery is classified in the category of Winery.
Parma Ridge Winery (and Brewery) is well worth the drive into the country! We were served probably the best fish and chips ever and this is even after visiting England for some famous chips. Service is folksy, but don't let that fool you as the food is sophisticated and the wine wonderful. Appetizers, salads, etc., were quite wonderful as gauged by a our table of four. Try the wine sampler then take home a bottle or two. Highly recommended.
What a disappointment. We went here with my family to taste some wine and have a relaxing afternoon. We called ahead and were told our party of 5 didn't need a reservation. After arriving, the bartender said it would be a little while. We didn't mind waiting because it seemed busy. We saw quite a few open tables but the waitress just ignored us and took other orders. The bartender was no help and and didn't look like he was doing much even though it was busy. At one point, the bartender seemed to get into an arguement with the owner. Shortly after that we left, 30 minutes from the time we were asked to wait. Would not recommend this place. The wine and food might be great but we didn't get to experience that because the service is horrible.
I really liked this place, the waiter was new but really friendly and worked hard to make it a great experience. Food was awesome! It was our first time here and we will be going back. It was quiet and relaxing. If you gave it a one star your just a product of a very spoiled Generation, find the good forget about the pecans.
I gave 1 star...only for the good views. NOT the good service or the food. I ordered the pear/candied pecan salad only to get it without the pecans!! When I questioned it they said they were out of the pecans. So they should have told me that when I ordered it! So mainly I paid $10 for greens and a few pears. Also had to eat it with my fingers until someone came around to tell them I didn’t get any silverware. Because the service was so bad we decided to leave a $2 tip only to find out they changed it to a $9 tip!! We left a message concerning the tip difference...it took them 5 days to call us back!! There’s a reason you only got $2!! We wanted to love this place-not sure if we’ll be going back. UGH
What a great place! Great wine, great food and great people! Definitely worth the trip, we'll be back!
Great food and service. Fun place to visit.
Awesome food and drink!
Food is excellent and reasonable. Went with a group of 14 so was in expanded dinning area they just opened in with wine barrels and equipment which was cool. They are not really set up to serve that many people at once yet so food trickled out to our table but once it got there it was delicious as always.
Great food and service with local feel.
Delicious, had several flat breads - went awesome with several wines! Very good! Will be back, again, & again!
Skip Boise and head West to this gem. First class service and the food is next level with affordable pricing. You won't be disappointed.
Great atmosphere and nice selection of wines. Had the sliders with truffle fries and pear ice cream dish. Great service! A+++++
Beautiful views, great food, good wine. I just wish it was more of a winery than a restaurant. I've been here several times and have never been offered a wine tasting because they are too busy offering food and running a kitchen. And expect extremely slow service if they are having any sort of event.
As always great food and awesome presentation. Owner's are great people and fun to visit with.
Salmon was DELICIOUS. Great place.
the food was great and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend it.
Parma Winery is by far the best in the entire region. Storm is an excellent chef and the prices are very reasonable. Wine is yummy. Thanks to a good friend who recommended it. We have no problem driving from Boise out often.
Such wonderful view and food! We may have overstayed our welcome (it was a private event) but they were very gracious. Thank you for a spectacular evening!
Great food!
Great food, wine and service!
We called before we came and were told that we didn't need to make a reservation. We showed up and waited for over 25 minutes to be sat at one of the multiple wide open tables and no one helped us. The man behind the bar was flustered and rude, telling us they were so busy and it would be just a moment multiple times. The woman who told us she was about to sit us spent 15 minutes walking back and forth helping other customers and completely ignoring us, unless it was to sigh with exasperation that she needed to find a place for us to sit. Again, there were multiple wide open tables. The customer who showed up shortly after we did gave up and left before we did. We are in town visiting family and hoped that this would be a fun outing, so we waited longer than we should to be sat - wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt. That was an extremely rude, disappointing, and horrible experience. Will never try this place again.
Amazing Hospitality!! Beautiful Vineyard
So-so food and wine combined with poor customer service. I had the steak Oscar and the crab was not just cold, it had ice crystals! When I let the owner know, they threw it in the microwave, steak and all. The chef came to explain there was nothing more he could do. Really? But still charge me full price. Don't waste your time driving out there when there are such great wineries in Boise.
Best damn fries I have ever had, truffle fries with a mesquite alioi, and at a great price. A good beer or wine with delicious fries and a burger will only cost you 12 and change. Well worth it.
Kitchen was an hour behind, waitress couldn't keep track of our food and orders, and the flies in here are awful. Our table was just a plastic table that you see at cookouts. Altogether, I was very disappointed. Will not be coming back.
The wine is fantastic, the food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is excellent. If you are on the fence about making the drive out here, I can promise you that you will not regret it! We had been meaning to visit Parma Ridge for some time, and it's further away than most of our usual wineries, but they more than make up for it. The owner is the head chef as well as the winemaker and the man is a damn genius. Incredible food which paired beautifully with all the wines we tasted. We generally prefer bold reds but we even thoroughly enjoyed their white blend. We will be back very soon!
Great food and even better wines. Prices are incredibly reasonable as well. They are also starting to serve beer made in house that is pretty good, too!
Quaint family winery with a bistro, serving high quality wine and food! Beautiful views of the vineyard and valley, and charming hosts. A gem!
Amazing salmon, asparagus and mash!!! Great wines and views.
It was awesome! Best pork we've had in a long time. And the brisket was superb! Great wines, too.
Really great food and delicious wine!
Always good food and wine!!
My husband and I have been here several times over the years and we are always impressed! The owners are very friendly and constantly making each better than the last! The food is always on point and the parings are superb! The view is absolutely breathtaking, especially at Sunset! I highly recommend coming here!
Great winery, and the food was top shelf, already looking forward to going back!!!
Great food, great service!!
We enjoyed Sunday afternoon on the patio at Parma Ridge. Good company, delicious full menu, and great assortment of wines. The view from the top of the hill is breath taking as well! We meet one of the owners. He came from the kitchen to the barrel room to tell us more about the wines and explained how the wine making process goes. I will definitely be back soon!
Absolutely delicious! From the service to the food everything was fantastic.
Old food and service oh and wine
Great food! Great place! Highly recommend!
Great place. Food is great as well.
This was my first experience here and probably my last. Parking is extremely limited, if you aren't fortunate enough to make the premises, you get to enjoy a walk from the road. We were greeted by a nice woman and gentleman, who served us a glass of wine and showed us a map of how to get to our table. That's right! Showed us a map, did not escort us to our table just showed us the map. From there, we find our table where we immediately had to move it, because it was tucked behind another table and a concrete barrier. The table was not level, so we held our wine to keep it from spilling. After you choose what to order, you must then excuse yourself to the inside bar to place your order. That's right! My date excused himself to go place our order because they only have "servers." While waiting for the food there was a little rainstorm that hit. We were the only table without an umbrella, so we went inside until it passed. We then went back to our table, where we cleaned all of the water up with our napkins and set down in wet chairs. I don't hold mother nature against them, but they could have offered us dry chairs and to wipe the table off. It took two hours before we were served and more disappointment. We ordered a flat bread, salmon, and an appetizer. Oh Yes! I forgot to mention upon ordering our dinner we were notified that our appetizer would be served with our dinner????? Okay.... what's the point of ordering an appetizer then? By the way, it came after our dinner! Our server did not ask if we needed anything. She then proceeded to pick up the dirty wine glass, that had our silver ware and wet napkins in them and asked if we needed new ones... Isn't it obvious... but we were polite and said, "yes please that'd be great." I had to ask for some lemon for the salmon, she was prompt on timing but came out with three slices of lemon in a metal container and asked me to pick one. I'm not sure how me sticking my hands into a container was sanitary, especially if they planned on using the remaining two for other people... We had to get up in the middle of our meal to serve our selves water. So here we go again.... back into the building to grab a little plastic party serve cup and pour ourselves warm water from a dispenser. Yup that's right, no ice, plastic cup, warm water, serve yourself. We come back to our fly infested food. Yes we swatted them away, the entire time that we were there. Not to mention that the door to the kitchen was left open the entire time, so you know that flies were in there too.... yuck! Finished our so - so food then bussed our own table, had to get our own box and tracked somebody down so that we could pay. Yes! That's right we took our own fly poo infested dirty dishes into the kitchen, and tracked people down for a box and to pay! Shouldn't they be paying us at this point??? The views were beautiful but if you live in this valley chances are you've seen better. There were at least five servers that I counted and maybe 50 patrons top, yet you had to serve yourself everything, but your food. Each table had a number on it; apparently these servers don't know which table is which, so they mark them with a number, yet we still had to tell two different servers what was our food when they tried serving it to a different table. Maybe they missed the training courses 101 basic service? Atmosphere was upbeat. They did have a live band playing, that was nice entertainment. The drunk, 70 + year old man, un-doing his shirt and exposing himself table to table however, was highly inappropriate. I guess someone was having fun.... I can only hope that the company takes this review as constructive criticism to improve their facility and staff. It has the potential to be great but needs some work. In service it's the little things that count.
Excellent food and amazing wine! Great service with a family feel. Will most definitely be returning!
Amazing time. Food is excellent and the pairing was perfect.
Very good. The Korean chicken appetizer was the best
I made my first trip to Parma Ridge Sunday. When we got there it was busy and they preferred reservations but they got us in and seated right away. Great views and some of the BEST FOOD in the Treasure Valley! The owner waited on us and several other tables. Very nice and concerned about every person and their satisfaction . GREAT JOB, we will be back.
Parma Ridge has great food and wine. The views from their outdoor tables of the surrounding countryside are awesome. Stephanie and Storm have a wonderful place - well worth the longer drive out to the Parma area.
Always fantastic food and experience!
Ok.....this place is amazing!! If you have never been you don't know what your are missing. Storm and Stephanie have built an amazing venue with amazing views and an awesome atmosphere. Can't recommend this place highly enough. I've heard someone dogged them a bit on a review for importing grapes they don't grow.....guess what..... don't care.....their wine is amazing and their food nothing short of epic. Rosemary garlic truffle fries..... amazing. The Korean BBQ chicken pictured was outstanding as was the Michelle flat bread with pear, arugula and balsamic reduction. In my opinion this place isn't about locally grown wine as much as it is about the amazing food and wine pairing. If your close and their open you should totally stop. As an added bonus Stephanie is an amazing artist and her work is displayed everywhere and available for purchase. This place is worth any detour you need to make to get there. It's about 20 minutes off I84 at exit 26.
Excellent food & wine.
Awesome all around!
Great food and wine, and wonderful venue.
Great tastings pared with wonderful be small bites!
Gorgeous setting, great staff
Great place. Good food and beautiful view.
Excellent good and beverages
We had a wonderful time and the food was very good. Great service.
Great food, great view. The owner's are super awesome people. Don't let the couple bad reviews turn you off from going you won't be disappointed
Ok what the flip is with the flies? There is an infestation. Like a whole swarm is here. Poop. Good views tho
Awesome atmosphere. The food has been great when we have been here. Love the wine!!
Pork Sliders 10/10
Showed up on one of their days when they had an event. They were too busy to help new customers with a wine tasting. Don't you have a designated person for this? We had already spent hundreds of dollars on wine that day, but you sure as heck won't see us again.
This place could be my new favorite restaurant
Great food, great service, great atmosphere and great location. Storm and Stephanie make fantastic hosts and I am glad to have Parma Ridge as my top choice to grab a bite with a great selection of wine and local craft brews. Great job Parma Ridge!
Awesome drink, food and view! The staff is pretty cool too!
A hidden gem and worth the drive from Boise. Small town feel, with the tasting room/restaurant right up to the vines in the field. The seating area overlooks part of the vineyard and the valley, with hops farms below - a spectacular view. The menu isn't large, but what they have is wonderful! The wines are delicious, both red and whites, with in-house crafted blends. Get a wine tasting flight as you'll want to sample many! This year they have added their own craft brews, as well, which my dining companions said were quite delicious. I do recommend calling ahead for a reservation during the normal dining rush times, but walk-ins are welcome. Get out of town and take a drive. You won't be disappointed!
We love coming here! Great food, nice environment and the wine hits the spot.
Wonderful food with eclectic menu choices! Stephanie is delightful !

Amazing.... one of the better winery places I have been too and I used to live in wine country. The food was mouth watering!!! Will def be back!!!
Went there for the first time today and it was fantastic! Great wines, delicious food, great staff and amazing views. Probably the best kept secret in the Treasurer Valley.

Great food, good wine and a pretty setting. Give it a try. It’s worth the drive.
Very slow service. The rib eye steak was tough. The Salmon, though, was excellent.
I would love to say its terrible so I can keep this treasure to myself but they are so good I cannot make myself type the words! The food, the service, and the atmosphere is impeccable! I wish I could give a sixth star!
