Very good place. I like the selection of wines there. And you can tell that Matt was very personable and took pride in his wines and the business. I like the layout of the place as it was very private. A place where you can host private parties. The whole ambiance was very laid back and that, to me, was very appreciative to me as a customer. I will most definitely come back and recommend this place to orhers.

It is a local husband and wife operation, Matt and Lindsey. Great hospitality, and great products. I took a trip up today, 3 hours one way, to visit and try their wines, and was not disappointed. If you're looking for a local place with good people and a down home atmosphere, this is your place.

Ok. Friendly folks, but was disappointed to find out that they don't even use grapes. All of their wines are super sweet as a result

Adam Rhinehart

If you like nontraditional wines and you're in North Georgia this is the place to go. Their selection of fruit based wine was very good. The service was top notch as the owners are very friendly. Speaking with them really gives you a sense of how much pride they have in their product.

A friendly, unpretentious vineyard with a warm, inviting and comfortable tasting room. I loved all the wines and especially the porch overlooking the fields. A rocking chair with a glass of wine and friends makes for great memories and much needed decompression.

What a beautiful place. Great wine and wonderful people. A very relaxing, laid-back atmosphere where the rustic tasting room is tucked in among the blackberries and honey bees. You have GOT to stop in and experience this place. And the wine slushies are crazy good!

Amazing wine, great cheese/crackers and an awesome host!

A ton of different wines! Quite a few non-muscadine which is great to see in a georgia winery. They have done a few barrel aged which are always fun to try. Matt was a great host, you wont go wrong spending a bit of time here, close to the highway and a beautiful corner of paradise looking out the back deck!

Today's visit to Sweet Acre Farms was short but very sweet. They have a great variety of fruit wines in a range of sweetness. The apple cider was also excellent. We left with several bottles and look forward to replenishing our stock soon.

Stumbled upon this place during a day trip to north GA. Glad I stopped! The winekeep at the front was so friendly and informative. I don't care what wine snobs say, sometimes I like a sweet wine and they had it all from sweet to semi dry. It's a beautiful property out there too. Take your girl out here and she'll be wooed

Yet another wonderful experience at Sweet Acres Farm! Came last weekend for their Halloween weekend, drank some wine, played Bingo, and won some prizes!! If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!

A winery worth going out of the way for! Awesome new winery that makes some amazing--change your life -fruit wines! Both Dry and super sweet. Surprised they do a dry muscadine and a dry blueberry. That are both really refined, and excellent for both wine lovers And even non-wine lovers like me! They also carry a really cool cider. The owner said they are working on a lot of new things as well. They have their own beehives so In the near future they are going to be making MEAD! I found out that all the fruit comes from the state of Georgia except for the lemons. The lemon blueberry wine is by far my favorite and it is surprising how light and tasty it is. You can definitely taste the lemon and just a hint of blueberry. This one is called "quittin time". They have a peach that is sweet, light and refreshing but surprisingly complex. Definitely coming back-- This place is worthy of going far out of your way to visit and taste the unique wines. Definitely go or order. I believe they're closed for the rest of the winter to spend time with their family. Really home-like feel--and they also have live music from time to time. Amazing experience--some of the best wine I have ever had hands down. And some of my favorites ever. Go go go!

We happened to see the sign as were driving up to the mountains. We decided to stop on our way back. We are so glad we did. The winery is beautiful- including the recently built fire pit. Jenny, who waited on us, was excellent as she explained the wines we chose to taste. There is a story behind the winery,, the wines, the names and the labels. I believe the labels may have been done by the owners mother. If you are near Gainesville Ga take the time to visit Sweet Acres Farm Winery.. it was a great experience. We left with six bottles of wine.

The service was amazing- completely sweet and helpful with tasting and choosing wines. They have sweeter wines. If you like dryer wines, like reds like cab or malbecs, the dry muscadine is AMAZING!

Wonderful people, beautiful little farm and a tasting room brimming with charm. They have a broad array of wines from dry to sweet made with all manor of different Georgia fruits. Even for the experienced wine drinker this stop is sure to surprise and please as it showcases the complexity that can come from those different fruits. Definitely worth the checking out.
