In love with this vineyard and their amazing staff! We visited on a larger vineyard tour but this one was easily our favorite. Not only was the wine incredible but Mama Bordeaux taught us the optimal way to enjoy our wines and made it so fun for our large group! Hoping to go back soon!!

Absolutely gorgeous! Do yourself a favor and go check out one of the cutest vineyards in North Georgia. I participated in the harvesting process this year and I was so happy that I did. The staff was knowledgeable and explained every step in the wine-making process. It was awesome watching the grapes I picked be turned into wine -all while drinking wine ;) I went back a second time this fall and thoroughly enjoyed the mountain air and the beautiful foliage all across their property. Only a quick 1-2 hour drive from Atlanta and well worth the trip!

A day wine tasting may be okay but don't try to plan any events with these folks. Their communication skills are non-existent. My nephew's wedding was booked here well in advance but Stonewall Creek failed to keep up any communication on their side and finally hinted they could make more money over a holiday weekend with events other than a wedding. Had they come to this decision months before, my nephew would not have invested in food, tables, chairs, invitations, etc. Absolutely unacceptable for a retail establishment that promotes itself as an event venue to treat people this way. There are so many vineyards in this part of Georgia; support those that treat people fairly. We had a lovely bridal shower at Sweet Acre Farms with fantastic wine and hospitality. We'll be going back to Sweet Acre for more wine the weekend of the wedding!

I drove up to Tiger with a friend for a "Vine, Wine, and Dine" event at Stonewall Creek a couple of weekends ago. We learned to make kudzu baskets, drank a glass of their deliciously dry rosé, and enjoyed a lovely barbecue picnic lunch in a beautiful mountain setting. Perfect day!

This is one of the biggest surprises of all my travels. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of service from Alex & the owner, Carl. The view was pleasantly charming, and the food was very appropriate for a Winery. All of their varieties were of excellent taste, but their Cabernet Franc Reserve 2014 was tremendous. I left with a case, and wish I had got two. This is a small Winery with all the Charm of a Small Italian Farm. The funniest thing to me on arrival was a small sign that read "Tasting Room" with a directional arrow pointing towards the neighbors old time outhouse. It was so cute. I laughed all afternoon. They really are the best kept secret in North Georgia. I have tried the others, Stonewall Creek is better.

We had an amazing time at Stonewall, and so did our pup! We tried all the wines and settled on a bottle of Whitetail to bring in the noon sun while watching our pup play off leash with the winery dogs. Will definitely be coming back!

Nice family run winery tucked away in Clayton. Great variety of wines to taste. The family is very passionate about wine and it shows in their award winning wines. Make sure to grab a jar of wine jelly, made fresh from left over wine.

I went here with my best gal pal to harvest grapes for the day then finish off with a lunch and wine provided by the owners. I loved the experience! Never got to help pick grapes for wine making before. Everyone there was super warm and hospitable. Also extremely professional without making the environment feel sterile. The wine provided with lunch was my favorite, we drank the varietal we harvested that day, Cabernet Franc. On top of the wine provided with lunch, we were able to go into the tasting room and taste other varietals, too. I had a great experience here and plan on bringing a larger group with me next time!

This is a wonderful place we went for a harvest pick on a Saturday in the fall. The grounds are gorgeous and the wine is amazing. We were hosted with an incredible lunch. I hope they publish a recipe book. Can’t wait to go back again.

Stopped here for the first time. We did the familiar wine and cheese on the patio experience. Loved it! Wine was very good. We left with a couple bottles and a few other things. I will return. Dogs are welcome on the patio. The local dog was very friendly.

Make sure you do a wine tasting with Captain Malbec! He's the best. The wine is fantastic and has won numerous awards. You must stop here when you're in Sautee.

Delicious wines in a beautiful setting. My wife and I both did a 5-wine tasting, and we ultimately left with a bottle of the Petit Manseng. Their preserves were also delicious. We picked up a bottle of the peach preserves made with rosé grapes. This is a great spot to stop and relax for a bit if you're in the area.

SCV is my happy place. I love helping in the vineyard whether picking grapes or caning vines. The wines produced are very good. It's the people here who make the difference for me. They are so welcoming and attentive. After being up here for an afternoon refreshment, working in the vineyard, or attending an event, I always seem to leave refreshed in spirit and happy. Stonewall Creek Vineyards is awesome! My girlfriend and I visted northern Georgia from Baltimore around the holidays and we stopped by to sample some wine with friends. All of their wines are fantastic. So much so in fact that we bought one of each! I especially enjoyed trying the Norton which we don’t have in Maryland. The knowledgeable staff, homemade snacks and the gorgeous scenery made the experience even more wonderful!

One of the best vineyards in North Georgia! Nothing beats a warm afternoon on their patio with a glass of their rose. So refreshing and delicious! The quaint view of the valley with the cows and hills and vines surrounding are so beautiful and so peaceful. Top notch staff. So friendly and so helpful. They suggested a great short nearby hike, which was perfect for our little family - with our toddler in tow! There's a creek on the property that she had so much fun dropping rocks and sticks into while my husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine.

We stopped in at the Sautee tasting room on a 6 vineyard tour and had the absolute best experience. Everyone in our group of ten agreed that this was the best stop during our entire tour. The wine was unbelievable and this was the only stop where any of us purchased bottles (i left with a case). Mama Bordeaux (our tasting guide) was amazing. Our friends still remark at how fun and quirky she was when explaining the complexities of the Stonewall Creek wines. We left with more information on the wine than all five other vineyards combined. I can not wait to visit Mama Bordeaux again and look forward to taking part in one of harvest stomps!

A little peace of paradise! What an incredible vineyard with the greatest owners! I was up the in January and had the greatest time! The vineyard is beautiful, warm, and friendly. Even though it was very busy with guests, the owners made us feel like we were family and were incredibly hospitable! The wine is delicious-I was a HUGE fan of the Cab Franc. I loved this family and dog friendly environment and cannot wait to be back in Georgia to enjoy this place again! Anyway living in the area or passing through, I would 100% recommend this place!

By far the best winery in North Georgia. It's location, scenery, tasting room, staff and of course, the wines, make this a true GA treasure! I visited in the fall and again a few weeks ago; the views from the tasting room patio are breathtaking. The only thing better than the view are the wines! All are amazing and I can honestly say it's a rare thing for me to like all the wines produced. Both white and reds are wonderful on the pallet and each provide a unique experience. They are beautiful balanced and only enhance your experience. Pairing the wine tasting with samples of their homemade wine jellies is an extra treat not to be missed! The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. They make you feel like your visiting old friends with a smile and open arms. I cannot say enough about how wonderful SCV is and can only encourage you to make this one a definite stop on your own wine tour of N GA. You will not regret it!!

Have you ever needed a relaxing day but full of activities with your girlfriends; well this is the place. 3 of my daughters, my sister and 3 best friends volunteered for Harvest Day. I never thought volunteering could end up being such a memorable day! Our conversations went for family, husbands to "remember the days"! The wine was excellent, highly recommended the Boriana White and Yukari. The lunch that was served was so amazing delicious we asked for the recipe. My husband and I did a wine tasting with Alex for our 5 year anniversary and the experience was nothing short of AMAZING! The gorgeous views of the vineyards were a perfect backdrop and the wine was the best We’ve ever tasted ( especially the Malbec). After returning to Florida we were sad we didn’t order more to take home. My husband called and Alex came to our rescue once again and is shipping us more of the Malbec. I stayed at Stonewall Creek Vineyards over the New Year holiday while on vacation away from Detroit. SCV is situated far off the road on stunning grounds, with a curling drive that winds past horses running at a small stables and crosses a very peaceful brook babbling into the eponymous creek. Driving along the rows of grapes helps get you in the mood for the delicious tasting that awaits and proves how locally and sustainably the wine is produced. Now, although I’m not a wine connoisseur, I frequently enjoy wine with dinner over good company, and the quality of the reds and whites at SCV is such that I make an impression on my guests when I host parties. The rose is of especially high quality. The tasting menu at SCV presents several high quality blends and wines, which paired with some home made jellies and cheeses, makes the experience an unforgettable one. Sharing my tasting with amazing friends sitting on a beautiful patio looking out over the natural grounds, vineyard, horses and creek is the icing on the cake. I can not recommend SCV highly enough. Do yourself and your friends a favor and go together...soon!

Complete Trash! Yeah their wine may be decent, but their customer service is horrible! I was really involved with planning a wedding for my best friend planning her dream wedding at this venue. Guess what? 4 months before her wedding and stonewall creek vineyards did not have the courtesy to even let us know that they will NOT be hosting her wedding. We just came to the conclusion after months of planning and hearing vague responses from the vineyard's event coordinator. We quickly realized that they are sabotaging her wedding. They were making false promises and continued to paint a pretty picture with no action. What were we supposed to do? Dates, times, tent rental, food, all were promised to be coordinated by the event planner- we contacted them for updates and were left with no response. Now we are left starting over with 3 months left to go. Consider yourself warned.
