You will see all the information of people like you who are consuming the services and products of Kaya Vineyard & Winery (Winery) near Georgia.
At the present the business has a rating of 4.4 stars over 5 and this rating is based on 95 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is really high, and it is based on a high number of reviews, so we can think that the assessment is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their opinion when they've done well with the business, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to give tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Winery is classified in the category of Vineyard.
I usually never post but reading a few of the bad reviews I had to post the great things about Kaya. Clearly the bad post do not know good wine and probably do not go to wine events to branch out of their typical Meiomi wine. I am wine snob and prefer mostly a good Cabernet Sauvignon with a occasional a good Oak or French Chardonnay. With that being said my favorites here are Oola Cabernet Sauvignon and their reserve Oak Chardonnay. This winery is beautiful and a must try. If you like frogtown make Kaya as your first stop before they close.
Great vineyard! The wines are great, and the view rivals Provence France. Not kidding.
Beautiful winery with great wine and amazing Mountain View’s!
Love it ill be back
Stunning view.... wonderful wines!
I went to KAYA Vineyard and Winery's grand opening and it was spectacular! The winery is absolutely gorgeous and the view out over the vineyard and the mountains is spectacular. The staff was really friendly and made us feel at home. The wines were delicious and the food is excellent. All good things to say about Kaya and we are happy to welcome them to our local community.
Going to be a great success if the owners and staff stay as warm and friendly as they are currently. Great Master Plan for such a wonderful venue! Keep up the great work! Oh, and their wines, very nice!
Amazing views but wine needs more maturation
Awesome atmosphere, wine & food
Great atmosphere, live show, view and wine!
Great wine, great food, great view!
I'm not a merlot fan but their oak barrel merlot is great!!
This place is fantastic. I have been coming to Dahlonega since I was a child and we are so lucky to add Kaya to our list of local wineries. Kari helped us plan a bachelorette party and Emily and Taylor provided us with excellent service for wine tasting. The cheese plate and charcuterie board were delicious. The staff truly goes out of their way to accommodate your every need. So impressed and excited to spend more time at this beautiful venue!
Warm, friendly atmosphere 4 a place definitely more on upper end of scale,. Pet friendly too!
Kaya Vineyard looks beautiful online and I thought their options for tours and tastings looked great! Sadly- I won’t get to experience a tour or tasting here. I reserved a tour and tasting for 5 people almost two weeks ago and called today to confirm and I was told “Sorry, tomorrow is a busy day for us so we won’t be giving any tours”. The girl that originally took the reservation for me took down all of my contact information. So, I’m not sure why no one called to let me know, but I’m glad I called to confirm. We’ll just be going to another vineyard.
Absolutely beautiful. The staff is helpful and prompt. There was a limited menu when we when, due to an event, but the wine was great and the food was fast and good. There was live music as well.
Definitely one of my favorites in North Georgia!!! Beautiful scenery, really nice people. Will definitely be back!
Lovely view good food nice music and good atmosphere and free parking
Great wine, good food and music. Young blonde guy was most knowledgeable. Get there around noon for a good seat on patio with awesome views
Relaxed atmosphere! Wine was very good and not too pricey!
this place is a paradise, a family atmosphere and quiet. Ideal to go with your family including your pet.
Excellent winery! Loved the wine and staff. We had a great time here.
Loved the outdoor covered patio!
We enjoyed the views, the venue, the staff, the music and the wine! I recommend to make Kaya Vineyards a stop on your North Georgia wine tour.
Beautiful. Loved the wine on tap!
Awesome service and wine tasting with Adam, gorgeous view, great wine!!!
Nice and friendly staff. Beautiful mountain views behind the vineyards. Great wines to taste for samplings.
love it
Visited Kaya for wine and late lunch. Turkey panini and grilled cheese. $50 and 50 min wait (including a "please check on meal" request at 30 min) we got our food. Are you kidding? Unacceptable slow service when there were only 3 other tables even occupied on a Thursday afternoon. Will rethink in the future
Awesome views! Great staff, good wine and good food.
This was our favorite of the four we visited yesterday for our 28th Anniversary, I highly recommend the Chardonnay and my wife loved the Merlot. We also really like the the 2nd Anniversary blend. We liked it so much we joined the key club to get exclusive invitations to special events and a free bottle of wine every month. We’ll certainly be back often.
Most Excellent!!❤
Great atmosphere and wine!!!
I only give it 3 stars cause the wine was so not good. The cheese plate we had was delicious. The view so beautiful. The service was great but the wine not good and I had red, rose and white. We had to run and go to the cottage vineyard for some amazing wine.
We loved the view and the food at Kaya, the wine not so much. With so many other great competing wineries nearby, this one will have to improve their grape or their soil to be a contender.
Great views
Beautiful building and view but $16 for wine tasting is a bit pricey for what you get
The view is spectacular...wine tasting was wonderful...cute home decor area (found a ciuple unique gifts). The wine tasting was all red wine although the wine was really good ...I'm a white wine girl.
Amazing views. Delicious wine. On point charcuterie boards. And dog friendly!
We love the oak reds. Nice update from previous owner!
Great winery in North GA! Excellent view and good wines.
Kaya has some great wines, the food is very good, and the views are excellent. Kaya is one of our favorite wineries to visit when we're in the area.
Beautiful Winery with GREAT wines & awesome staff!!
What a beautiful place. Fist time there and we definitely will be back. Great suggestions of what to try and so helpful. Bread selection of delicious sandwiches , charcuterie board and a cheese board. All looked delicious. Don’t pass up the chicken salad croissant which was awesome. I will say that Kaya Vineyard has the most spectacular view from the covered patio. Music, eats and wine. Don’t miss this place.
Friendly staff, clean facilities, beautiful views, and even a friendly vineyard cat!
Attended the 2016 Fall Festival, and the atmosphere was incredible. The wine was wonderful, as was the music. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs. I highly recommend Kaya if you're in Northeast Georgia.
Lovely atmosphere, beautiful views, and super friendly staff.
Love the large covered patio and food options here! The wines aren't are favorite, but are still good. The service is not the best and the staff could be more knowledgeable about the wine. Pet friendly, too, which is a plus!
Great time, worth the trip, Thank you VIP tours.
Nice place with good wine! The grilled cheese panini was delicious. Beautiful views as well.
Beautiful vineyard and winery and the staff is super nice and helpful but a tasting of 5 wines was much more expensive than other wineries in the area. And not only that but the prices were $2-$3 more expensive than they claimed on their website which is a bad look.
The staff is friendly; however, we did not get that personalized service we have come to expect from the North Georgia wineries. There were only two gentlemen serving a full bar of guests and as a couple, we were overlooked for the most part. When we did receive service for our wine tasting, we did not receive descriptions of any of the wines, nor recommendations. The idea of using tokens for a wine tasting was rather silly as well. The wines were mediocre compared to other local wineries. Overall, I would not recommend this winery when there are so many others nearby that will describe and recommend wines based on your preferences and with staff that will actually interact with you. Not to mention the fact that the other wineries have tastier offerings.
Views are fabulous, wine is great, food was ok and the band (Heard Band) was awesome!!
Beautiful vineyard! I came here on a tour during my 30th birthday celebration! We got an impromptu private tasting down in the cellar. It was amazing. The wine was really good! I wish I’d bought more or the Sangiovese rose. It was to die for!
This place was wonderful from the atmosphere to the view to the helpful service, except for Luke. After ordering 2 entrees and 2 deluxe flights, we left before buying a bottle because of Luke. I’m not sure what we did to cross his path, but he could t be bothered by me. We ended up using up our chips as fast as possible so we could go to better vineyards.... would highly recommend going elsewhere
Insanely beautiful views of the North Georgia mountains, great tasting wines, and friendly staff all make this one of the most enjoyable places to grab a glass.
Kaya is the newest winery in the area and has the advantage of location on the main coupled with a beautiful facility and view. Looking over the vineyard, they likely import their grapes as most vines were just planted. Moving into the tasting room, it is disorganized chaos ran by numerous kids that likely can barely consume wine themselves. Tasting options were 5 for $11 or 8 for $16, which puts this in line with staple brands in the area like Yonah Mtn. The wine amd experience is undeserving of this price point and they are likely making up for yhe costs of the facility. Going back to the tasting, we didn't have a designated l pourer and was constantly asked what wine is next. They never explained what wine we were drinking or anything about the vineyard itself. We visit wineries frequently and would have enjoyed to learn about how they make their wines, where the grapes come from, background of the winery, etc. Instead of having the kids run in circles taking care of patrons, I'd suggest this winery take a lesson from more experienced establishments and educate the employees and havr them exclusively responsible for 4-5 patrons. We will continue visiting the wineries/vineyards on the Dahlonega Trail and Unicoi Trail, but we definitely won't waste our time or money on this winery. I'd highly suggest you skip it as well.
Beautiful location and views!
Attended wedding. Excellent wedding venue.
Lovely location, good food and nice wine selection. Very busy on a summer Saturday with live entertainment on the great patio. Good size portions ...filled my lunch needs.
We had a wonderful experience. Great service! Great food and great ambience!
Nice place to visit
Awesome venue, staff and wines... Saw the total eclipse of the soon here.. Great food, great wine, great crowd... Torrance awesome event!
Beautiful tasting room and super friendly staff. We will be back!!!
we visited Kaya on 9/7. Nice layout. Good gift shop. Friendly service. The sandwiches were okay. But the wines.....absolutely terrible .. every singles one!!! With these wines I don't see a future for Kaya.
Fantastic service, delicious wine and beautiful vineyard. I attended three vineyards with my work team for a retreat and Kaya was our first and favorite. Our bartender was engaging, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The wine was first class and hands down the best of the three we toured. The stunningly beautiful views from the patio are worth grabbing a bottle and spending an hour or two just relaxing. The cute store on site was an added bonus. I enjoyed the deluxe tasting and the reds were absolutely delicious. Looking forward to returning soon!
Super wine in a wonderful venue!
Fantastic. The wine was great and staff was very pleasant.
The views are five-star, but wines are just okay. Tasting is a bit pricy for the small pours you get, but their "deal of the day" wines are very good and a generous pour. They all tasted sweetened to me - even the "dry" wines seemed to have some added sugars. Love the huge patio and inside tasting room with live music though!
Staff very inviting and warm. Torrie as the hostess was very welcoming and informative.
What a wonderful winery to visit! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable! And the wine is superb! Our favorite is the Stainless Steel Viognier. Scenic and serene views. Reminds us of Cape Town, South Africa.
Good wine good view, overall good experience. Definitely can't go wrong with this place
Beautiful view live music from locals
My wife and I stopped in for a tasting. The wine is a bit overpriced, especially considering the taste was decent at best. The tasting itself costs $14 per person, which unfortunately for that price doesn’t even include a souvenir glass! I felt as if we were mostly paying for the atmosphere and the service, both of which were very nice.
