This Winery corresponds to the category of Winery.
They are very generous with the amount they give you with the wine tasting. Plus they give you a glass to take home. Their wine is the bomb dot com. Just make sure you don't drink and drive! Not only because it's idiotic and dangerous but there's almost always a state trooper parked on this exit's bridge.
This place is awesome with wonderful, friendly staff. I stop by everyone i travel to Florida
Wonderful place, the server was great and the wine slushy is perfect on a hot day!!! Had the mixed berry slushy, going back today to get another
Great Food, the staff is extremely nice. It took too long to get served. Otherwise it was a awesome experience. The biscuit and butter are the best
Great food great service. A must try. I will invite all of my friends.
The food was very good, I had the 12oz Angus steak and it was cooked to perfection, my salad was well put together and very tasty broccoli wasn't overcooked and the hot biscuits with cinnamon butter was a treat. They need a better hosting and wait staff. After waiting for a while to be seated we stuck our heads in the door so someone would see us, ounce we got to our table they immediately brought out the buttered biscuits but we had to wait for over 15 mins before our waiter came back to check on us then another 10 mins after that before he took our order. But the decor is very nice. The wine slushies are amazing.
Staff was polite and helpful.
I really enjoyed my visit, the live band was Great!
Nice place, food was good and not to expensive.
Friendly staff. Good wine.
Went there tonight for my 10 year anniversary and waited over an hour for our appetizer. Staff was apparently shorthanded, but still nice. We ended up leaving still hungry because I didnt have another hour to wait for our food, had we ordered any more.
Loved it!
The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the wine tasting and the bistro. Prices were reasonable. Atmosphere was casual and laid back.
Great wine but not much of a gift shop. Although---I wasn't there to shop for anything but wine so I got what I came for. Sweet wines aren't typically my type of wine to drink but the watermelon was awesome.
First time visit for me. Salmon was great!! Will be going back for wine tasting!
We ordered spinach dip for the appetizer, and the dip was cold. Steak & loaded baked potato for entree, the steak was good but the potato was cold as well. Lastly we ordered a bottle of wine that was priced $12.95 in the brochure placed on all tables and they wouldn’t honor that price, the manager said the price increased to $17.95 so we had to pay the new price. Any place of business I’ve been to as always honored the advertised price regardless. We probably will not be going back because we traveled to visit and the experience was not worth driving back for.
Wine tasting!! If you've never been & always wanted to, I highly suggest you go! $6 for a tasting that includes 5 wine samples & a glass to take home! <3
Website is incorrect. Place does not serve lunch. Very disappointed.....drove over an hour for nothing. Even their sign out front states they serve lunch and dinner.
Amazing white wine!
I love Horse Creek Winery and go often to both locations for slushies. Visited Sparks today and the girl working was not friendly. We ordered wine slushies but were only able to get one each because she admitted she just forgot to fix them. She barely spoke to us or the other customers. Nashville location has much friendlier service and lower prices!!
Great ppl, great place. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was good.
Really nice group of people. Worth stopping for a tasting. We always take home six bottles.
Food at the Bistro was excellent and the entertainment by 2 River Station was unexpectedly superb. One of the best nights out that we have ever had in the South Georgia area.
p]
Some great some not so...... if u like sweet wine this is the place for you, of you like dry......run, the cafe is good, not great but we'll above average
Jeffrey was an amazing host. Highly recommend this place!
Very nice people and drinks always delicious
Came to sample some wines before staying the night. They are a Harvest Hosts member. Had a sample of the Pinot Grigio first, delicious, and then had the taste of wines for six dollars. And the peach slushy to wind out the tastings was amazing. Erica was a great hostess. I enjoyed all the ones that I tasted and I’m not even a sweet wine person. I’ll come back on a Friday or Saturday when the bistro is open.
Did a catering there, it's a beautiful place.
We stop at Horse Creek every time we come to GA
Good place to visit
I love the wine and the wine slushies! They have a great blueberry wine! But there are several other greats wines ! It's worth a pit stop
Good wine be get a bottle of ponderosa gold. Tastings are $6 for 5 and you get to keep the glass
It's a great place to visit... going back soon
Keep driving...hopefully you'll get through Adel Ga quickly. We didn't, so the only place that looked half way decent was this winery, unfortunately the flies felt the same way. This place has great potential but horrible execution. Our bartender/ waitress ( since she was the only one working) was very nice but she was the only one doing anything. Thought there was anchovies on my casear salad because all I could smell was bad seafood, turns out it was my husband's grilled shrimp. I guess that's what happens when you grill frozen seafood. I explained that to him while he was sick back at our hotel. If you want fine dining keep driving through South Georgia...
Very enjoyable wine tasting!
Best muscadine wine hands down
Very quaint place
Absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly. The food was incredible and the wine slushies. To. Die. For. Definately worth its visit!
The best food between Atlanta and the Florida border.
Always a good experience
I loved it!
Management was awesome. Thanks Duncan and Cynitha.
Horse Creek Winery was a great spot to stop. Cynthia was masterful with the knowledge of their wines and trying to guide me towards something that suited my taste. I'll definitely stop by again to try the wines I didn't get to taste.
Nice distraction while traveling on the interstate. Sadly the restaurant was closed even though the Georgia welcome center said they were open. This winery offers a tasting room normally. The bar and shop inside offered an eclectic atmosphere & ambience. The items were very reasonably priced. The scenery is beautiful around the property. Would like to try and stop for a bite on my drive back home. Bought some tasty souvenirs.
Great place, friendly staff, great wines. I recommend and will come again. 1st time May 2015.
Stop there every time I travel. Last experience with lunch not good. Ordered Salmon salad to go. Way too expensive for what I got. Avocado was rock hard. There was a piece of styrofoam in my salad! No dressing! No silverware. So disappointed. I may stop for wine but not the food.
It was cool
The food is ok nothing other rave about. The wine on the other hand is amazing.
visited the interstate branch at Sparks, Georgia. Nice facility just off the interstate - Super convenient if traveling on I-75. I had been past there many times and seen the many Bill Boards along the way. Son in College at Valdosta State. So I decided to take a day (Sunday) and visit as well as have lunch. Met son and his girlfriend for a taste test as well as lunch. Not much of a drinker myself other than sweet tea, my favorite wine was the Winnersville White. The sweetest one on the menu. Nice wide ranging selection for all taste. The Bistro was equally amazing. My son and I had the "Big Red" Burger which both were amazing-juicy-flavorful, and she had the "Front Runner" Italian with pasta salad, which she could not finish, so she took it home to enjoy later. I will be visiting the main facility and am looking forward to a full tour of the processing facility! A great visit! Not to forget the staff - they were super helpful, patient, well presented, polite and knowledgeable.
Always a nice time and nice wine.
Food is okay wine is average but pricey. Servers ate less than average.
I'm a local so I stop by on occasion when I am in the area to get a wine slushy. I stopped by with two friends on a Saturday at 6pm to get one for us all. The girl working didn't seem to want to help us at all, she was short and rushed us. She informed us after we asked for a mixed flavor that the peach wasn't ready. We opted for the other flavor and she hurriedly charged us out so she could go sit back at the bar and talk. Worst service I have ever had at horse creek winery. The Nashville location has much better service and prices. Extremely disappointed in our visit today.
Awesome food great experience
We went for the wine tasting. $6.00 for 5 samples. I wasn't overly impressed with the wines. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good.
They advertise they open at 12PM. I show up at 12:30PM, just as another car is pulling out to LEAVE, and I try the door. The door is locked. Deadbolt clearly in place, "open" sign clearly off, nobody to be seen from front door windows. I go onto their Facebook page and ask them why they aren't open, and they LIE to me and say the doors sometimes stick. The door wasn't stuck. The door was locked and the place was closed. Whoever opens up for them was late and willing to lie about it to potential customers (I left), so they no doubt lie to their employers. VERY unprofessional to outright lie to me about being late, then blame me for not knowing how to operate a door. I've been visiting them annually for 3 years running (on my way to Atlanta) but will not bother next year or ever again.
It was extremely nice. The service was great. Just not fond of dry camping.
The wine slushies are fun, however I think having food available would enhance the experience. Even simply cheese and crackers or something simple for people to order around mealtimes would up their game just a bit. Maybe they could partner with a local cheese maker like Sweet Grass Dairy or something similar.
My best friend and I were driving from Blairsville back to Orlando and decided to stop since they were open later which was great because it work with our time schedule and they were pet friendly in the wine tasting room which came in handy since we were traveling with a dog. We started out with a winetasting and I was wanting to find a wine that I truly enjoyed and we had been to 8 wineries in three days and I was starting not to like wine at all since this was my first introduction to wine and I fell in love with the Travelers wine. We sat down and had a glass of wine, my first glass ever that I enjoyed every bit and we ordered the fried green tomatoes which were phenomenal and they brought to us out in the tasting room since we had a dog with us. Very wonderful experience and we loved the staff. Being from out of town and wanting to purchase their wine and have it shipped, I wish it were a little cheaper on shipping. But all in all now I do know that there's a wine out there that I thoroughly enjoy. Loved this place!!
Just stopped by on a whim. Ended up wine tasting bought 3 cases of wine and ate one of the best Cuban sandwiches I have ever had. Great place and very friendly staff. Also stop in for a wine slushy. Who knew there even was such a thing.
Great place, great people great wine! Oh & the slushie wines!
Awesome slushie
We enjoyed our stop. Very friendly staff and a great variety of wines. Staff was also very knowledgeable.
We weren't sure about the place and gave it a shot. The winery part was absolutely a blast. Chelsea was our host and did an amazing job keeping us laughing and enjoying the time. Will be going back when we are in this area. Food was ok but nothing to write home about.
Stopped there on our road trip while passing through GA. Bought several of their wines and regret that Delaware doesn't allow wines shipped from out-of-state wineries. If you are in their area I strongly suggest sampling their wines. You won't regret it.
This place was great! The wine is delish and the food was amazing. The staff is super friendly and very helpful in selecting dishes and wine. Highly recommended. If we lived close we would definitely come here often!
Really great wine. Glad we decided to stop!
$6.00 wine tastings. 5 wines keep the glass amazing. I tend to stick with fruit wines and the traveller peach wine is so great...
We were visiting friends in the area on Saturday and had lunch first and then the wine tasting. The food was great and the tasting was a lot of fun. All of the staff are friendly and there when you need them, the best kind of service. We had a great time!
So much fun! Excellent service, Ana was great! Good food, good wine and terrific live music. We will be back!
My experience was excellent, nice service & good wine...
Wine selection was very interesting. The Hahira red supreme was delicious. Food catering left a lot to be desired.
Fun time for my birthday!
I was there Feb. 12, 2017 and had a great time the ladies and gentlemen that served me were awesome I have never done a wine tasting so I have nothing to compare it to but it was $6 for a 5 wine tasting you pick which one you wanna try with a complimentary wine glass. And options to but the bottles that you would like of course my favorite is the miss blue there was one other that was a white sheet wine I liked I will definitely go back and try the others but next time I go I'm coming for some cases as we live in Perry Florida and that's a drive luckily I have a wine cellar
Nice winery, lots of sweet wine. Mostly made with Moscato Grapes. Also wine slushy. For 6 dollars, you got to taste 6 wines and a slushy. Very generous, will let you have a small taste of anything at no extra charge. They do have one very sweet wine, almost an ice wine. Nice place to visit, especially if you like sweet wines
Excellent bartender who was knowledgeable of wine samples and knew a lot about the winery. Tasting is 6 dollars and you get to try 5 wines. Nice cute outdoor area too. Wine slushies a plus.
Nice place, good wine slushies and $6 tastings. Wine was good but now anything to write home about
I had poor service from my waitress took 30 min for her to get my drink then i seen her going in and out for smoke breaks. There was also another couple she was suppose to be taking care of and they were have the same problem. Nice place just need to get a diffrent waitress and move this women to being a dish washer.
Ahi Tuna was delicious; quiet atmosphere and fast service.
Awesome service! Coming back soon!
I have been to the Winery on several occasions and have tried to see the good in the place, I wanted to! But, this has to be one of worst managed Resturants/Bar I've ever seen after owning 3 myself. They are mainly 18 to 20 somethings running the entire place, even the kitchen staff. The hours state open till 10:00 on weekends but when we were there they were putting the chairs on the tables and wiping down the legs at 9:30, with 5 tables still drinking and eating desert. The guy(me) was still playing as no one had obviously told him they were closing and they were doing this while he was in the middle of his set. Someone (Manager) should have at least come out and spoken to him to let him know of their plans and to go ahead and wrap up....then we'll start putting chairs up!! Very unprofessional! The outside had an overturned table/umbrella on the patio, some dirty glasses left untouched. They said they weren't serving outside! I guess it didn't matter how it looked for anyone who wanted to journey out on the deck and patio. And when they are serving ladies, plan to go home smelling like a cheese burger because of their terrible ventilation! Now the Wine, it's winery, it's pretty bad even for what it is and liquor is not an option. The food is less than ok! Our chicken Caesar salad was drenched in dressing and the Cuban sandwich our guest had was the worst they said they had had. They didn't eat it. It's too bad because they have a nice property but no real professional management. I just wouldn't waste the time or money, just seems to get worse.
