My wife and I stopped by after discovering the sign by accident, but I'm so glad that we did. We met Sanford, the owner and was able to do a wonderful wine tasting. So good in fact, that we bought four (4) bottles to take with us. Thank you Sanford for helping to make our Sunday Drive extra special! We will definitely be back!

TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY! Family owned and operated farm and winery! We met Fred and Carol the owners, and the most gracious lovely people that share our love of the North Georgia Mountains, the PEOPLE and the VIBES!. They were so kind to share some history, and as they spoke, their eyes spoke louder! The excitement of LIVING THEIR DREAM and CELEBRATING LIFE in the most beautiful place in GEORGIA! Yes, HIAWASSEE is electrifying, contagious, and filled with wonder. We shared that we just bought a home here, and we were graciously welcomed into the neighborhood warmly and sincerely. As we drove up on this rainy, gloomy day, we entered the tasting room to find folks gathered around the serving area, and the thought that came to mind was that the owners have created a branding here that is about FAMILY ENJOYING EACH OTHER'S COMPANY AND CELEBRATING LIFE! We listened intently as Fred engages with his customers and educates them on the perspective wine samples. It was clear that we met a sommelier as he is truly a knowledgeable wine professional. He also knows how to connect with his customers and has a sense of what they love. This is THE WHOLE PACKAGE, the views of the VINEYARD ADORNED BY THE NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS, the oldest mountains in the USA! This magnificent wine comes for the richest soil, and the perfect climate for growing some of the most complex wines in the USA! The views from large veranda is priceless, the selection of wines impressive, the memories priceless, the new found friends cherished! I HAD TO PINCH MYSELF!!! I sampled a few wines, all exceptionally tasty, but my favorite today is the "Deliverance" . It was just amazingly diverse. Served at room temp the FRUIT NOTES were pronounced, with a HINT OF HERBS and LOVELY OAK NOTES as well. Then Fred delivered a CHILLED serving of the same wine with a luscious piece of SEMI DARK CHOCOLATE....the combination of flavors EXPLODED UPON MY PALATE, all enhancing each other with an AMAZING FINISH that was MOST GRATIFYING, but left me wanting more, more, please I need more! Needless to say that we can't wait to return for Saturday MUSIC, and a time of Mingling, Meeting New Friends, and a time to Sip and Savor the TREASURES of the VINE! Thank you dear friends and know that we are so happy to be neighbors! Bountiful Blessings of good health, safety, and prosperity!

Very good wines. I prefer sweet, and my other half prefers dry. We both loved it. The staff (young lady, curly hair) very helpful, real, and all around a joy. The atmosphere both inside and out is great. I loved sitting outside with my wine (and his beer) just taking in the fall scenery.

The one person on staff was very attentive, courteous to our party of almost twenty people on a late Sunday afternoon. Don't overlook the chocolate truffles or cheese/salami/cracker sampler. There are several areas to sit, quietly or in more of a group setting under roof or under umbrella. A great place to unwind a Sunday afternoon.

Visiting the vineyard was a wonderful experience! The wine was delicious and all of the people that work there (owner & family, employees) made us feel like family made it even better! Bernie (the vineyard dog) was the icing on the cake and had a great time playing with him on the property! The prices were great as well! $10 for tasting everything on the menu. If they do end up building an Inn, we will love to stay with them next time we’re in town! Thanks again for the great experience!

The best vineyard and winery in northern Georgia. There tasting room is so inviting and the outside seating and BAND area is so wide open and fresh.

On top of being beautiful, the staff was amazing. They have live music on Saturdays and allow dogs on their porch. We opted to drink a bottle of wine (the Red Clay Rose was delicious with just a hint of sweetness) on the chairs by the pond while our dog frolicked with the vineyard dog. We could not have planned a more relaxing afternoon. But we plan to come back without our dog to take full advantage of the tasting room.

Very hospitable experience. The Myers shared with us their excitement about the vineyard as well as gave us some great suggestions of places to see in town. The tasting room has a fantastic patio with more than enough seating for the live music. The wine selection is mostly red, but they do have some muscadines from neighboring wineries and a couple of dry whites... and the Lushie (wine slushie) is to-die-for... made sure to get some of the mix to take home!

My husband and I have been visiting Hightower Creek Vineyards with our friends, Fred and Carol Myers for over five years ( It's a two hour drive for us). We love the vineyard, the variety of wines and the peaceful environment. They have many award winning wines, with metals displayed in the tasting room. Their large deck is a great place to listen to live music on Saturdays from 2:00 to 5:00. In early August 2018 Fred and Carol bought the winery! Fred and Carol are so nice and have wonderful ideas for growing the winery . Stop by and meet the new owners and tell them Margie and George sent you!

My girlfriend and I visited several weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed trying the slushies and Dueling Banjos White wine, meeting Carol, Fred, and Emily, and listening to the live music. We had such an excellent time that we brought friends back with us this past weekend! Hightower is a hidden gem with great wines and great hosts: so far I've enjoyed the Dueling Banjos White Dueling Banjos Peach, and Chatuga Red.

We serendipitously found this jewel while biking a portion of the Trans N. Georgia Trail. We enjoyed a truly memorable afternoon with Liz, tasting their fantastic wine and enjoying the amazing views. Liz was welcoming and gracious as were Max and Bella (the dogs). I only wish that we lived closer so that we could visit more often! Thank you for the southern hospitality!
