Lovely place and people...wine nice, too! A friend and I heard about it from her daughter so we went. Did the tasting, slowly. Took each sample to the porch to enjoy. Both loved the Pinot Grigio and Cab Franc best. The Merlot was a bit thin and very astringent. Amanda was great, chatty and helpful. As it happened, the owner, Gary, was there when we arrived so we got to meet him. We will go back and sit on yhe porch or outside maybe next time. Very peaceful place.

I planned a full day of places to go with my sister to celebrate her big day in June; she's getting married. This was one of the stops and we were disappointed. There were (3) ladies assisting at the bar, the two older ladies completely disregarded us, so much so, they attended to customers whom showed up after we did, the younger bartender was kind enough to acknowledge what was happening and assisted us after she was done assisting someone else. I was embarrassed by their own actions and felt terrible for my sister. Never again.

My boyfriend and I love to visit Engelheim Vineyards. They have a great selection of wines and a nice patio to enjoy it. I would suggest grabbing a bottle, ordering the cheese plate and enjoy the live music on the patio!

We do wine tastings every chance we get. Typically I don't care for East coast wines, however this place was amazing! We talked to the owner about his Vineyard and history of the winer, and took home two cases of wine because I couldn't decide what I wanted it was all so good!

Cheese with no wine. Arrived a little after opening, tasted the wine and chose our favorites. Since it was the lunch hour and the view was nice, we decided to order a glass each and a cheese platter. We sat outside sipped our glasses and waited on our platter. It was paid for at 1:32 pm and our platter was the last given to us after a group of 4 who was not there after we paid. We were down to three sips of wine. We ended up eating our cheese platter with no wine. It was a bad experience for us. The lady behind the counter didn't offer an apology, or even offer us a half of glass of wine. We won't be back nor will we order any wine.

We weren't impressed. We ordered a bottle. It was served warm/room temperature and in a non chilled cooler with little ice to cool it down. When we brought it to their attention we were given a cup of ice. We filled the cooler as much as possible and waited 30 minutes to chill it enough to somewhat enjoy. We ordered the cheese and it was just ordinary. The music was ok but not very upbeat. I don't think we will go back. Too many other great ones around here!

Very pretentious. Wines were not good...unless you are into ALL very oaky wines. Staff was not personable. They did not take any time with you to talk about the wines. Loud crowd so felt more like a bar. Staff had great manicures...like that's important.

This is such a lovely estate and the wines are outstanding! I have had many wines in the area and these are, by far, the best! Come sit for a spell....listen to some music, snack on some cheeses and sausages, sip some fabulous wine...and relax!
