Very picturesque setting. Nice seating area. The white wine selection was weak. I tasted 3 whites and selected one. My wife had 3 reds ad selected one. Had to ask for cheese and crackers. Staff is nice, pleasant place. Someone on guittar not really good.

West Craft

Absolutely beautiful winery, full of great people, great wine, and an excellent view. Really, sipping wine on the back deck will make you feel like you're in a scene from a picturesque story book. Their wines are great, especially the peach which was my wife's favorite. Both times we've been, they have offered free live entertainment that everyone in the crowd enjoyed. Highly, highly recommend this place to anyone passing through.

Visiting from central Florida, my boyfriend and I stopped in to taste some wine, but ended up staying for hours! Mike the owner, and Donna were fanstastic and friendly hosts. Extremely knowledgeable about the wine and just all around friendly people. They made us feel like we had known them forever. All of the tastings we had were delicious, but their mulled wine, which was their holy moses blend with added spices being slow cooked, was out of this world. Seeing as how it has been down in the 20’s, some hot mulled wine by the roaring fire was the perfect end to our winery tour. Would 100% recommend 12 Spies to anyone!

Great wine but cannot enjoy the beautiful scenery due to gnats and bees. Blond lady with glasses needs customer service skill training-she made us feel like we were in her way and gave us a huff or two when a question was asked.

We love how on Friday nights you can bring your own pizzas and they’ll cook it in the fire brick oven. Saturday nights are fun for good music & a good crowd. Great wine, great people, great service!! Absolutely LOVE ♥️ this place!! Highly, highly recommend them. My favorite is the Holy Moses wine!

My wife and I stumbled upon this wonderful vineyard and had a fabulous time, enjoying a bottle of the Cabernet Signature and cheese plate. Donna was a great host who also recommended an awesome bottle of Merlot. We are already making plans to go back.

Friendly group of people, they were excited to share not only about the wine, but also gave suggestions of places to go around town. Location has huge (covered) outdoor patio with a pizza oven that apparently people use in the evenings. Live music in the afternoons. Oh, and the wine was delicious!

We stopped by on Saturday to do a little wine tasting. My girlfriend and I are beginners to wine, we explained that soon as we walked in and Mike took extremely good care of us. We tasted about 8 different wines and 2 different wines with a twist to them. He helped us explore what we liked and disliked. After the tasting we decided on a bottle to take home with us. We will be back for sure! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Great little vineyard inthe mountains . Nice place to enjoy with the family. Big open field for the kids to play around. They have live music and on fridays the make fresh pizza.

This is the cutest little winery! The people that work here are the absolute sweetest! Donna brought us free mini cupcakes that were delicious. The view and property are beautiful. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are in town.

Not sure who the woman was there today 7/3/17 but she needs some customer service skills. She made it very clear that they close at 6 and if we wanted anything else, we needed to get it. We have been coming there for several years as we live locally. Very disappointed today.

We stopped here after a day of hiking and we had an amazing experience! They close @ 6pm not at 8pm as Google stated but they were very accommodating and let us stay after closing to watch the sunset! Our hosts even recommended a place for us to stay overnight and what a great recommendation! The wine selection was amazing. We picked a Sauvignon Blanc to enjoy at the patio. We will definitely visit again!

This was a nice winery tucked away with some amazing mountain views. They offer a $1 per sample wine tasting so you can get to know their wines while learning a little bit about the place. After our wine tasting we picked our favorites and sat in their outside area to enjoy the beautiful view and some fresh air. The staff working were all very friendly and welcoming.

We came here today in conjunction with my wife's birthday. Not to sound snobbish, we have traveled the word and have participated in numerous tastings of some of the finest wines. So we were not expecting much. Wow, were we surprised. The Merlot and Chardonnay just blew us away. The staff and the owner only added to the wonderful experience. In summary, a marvelous setting, excellent wine and friendly staff. We will return. Thank you Mike, Meg and Donna for helping to make today special.

Great wines and atmosphere for enjoying them. Friday evenings during the summer are pizza nights. They have stone outdoor oven and will cook the pizza you bring for free. You can sit in the evening air sipping wine and eating your pizza. Bliss!

Outstanding small Winery and Vinyard! We have visited over 30 wineries in North Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina, and 12 Spies is one of our favories. They have a great selection of vinifera varieties (we particularly like the Trimanette and Merlot), as well as some sweeter wines for folks who like them. The staff is outstanding. Owner Mike, as well as Donna and the rest of their crew, make you feel like you have known them for years. Don't miss this beautiful spot!

Visited this winery this past Friday and was very disappointed with service. Was our first visit to a winery and did not know the process. The staff needs some customer service training. Especially blond lady with glasses, abrupt, boarded on rude, passed us onto another staff member without any explanation ! Will not return there on future trips.

We stopped in after horseback riding at Dillard House. What a great little venue with a view. The restroom has the most unique sink I have ever seen, and I love the creative repurposing. We hung out on the patio and listened to some entertainment until closing and went home with a refreshing bottle of Front Porch Peach.
