Delicious gnocchi with butternut squash...add the shrimp. You wont regret it. The pretzel bread is nom nom. Outdoor seating is nice if its not too hot. The gnocchi bolognese is a good alternative if you want a little meaty flavor. The fish n chips is cooked perfect. Chicken Piccata was also good. Pricey though. Food and wine is on the expensive side. If you wanna sample the wines. The tastings are really well priced and certain ones come with a complimentary chocolate

Went for lunch today for the first time. Not usually in this area but had a DHL shipment to pick up in Doral on NW 25th st. Checked open table for nearby restaurants and went due to reviews. Ordered a bottle of wine for myself and my wife had a Martini. Food came out 4 minutes after we ordered, no drinks yet so food was cold by the time drinks arrived and we started eating. Ordered skirt steak medium rare, came out completely SUPER well done. Nice decanter presentation for a mediocre wine which would have not required it. Sorry, not impressed...

I went there with friends and overall the food was good, though it depended a lot on what your ordered as some dishes were clearly better prepared than others. The service was great, or so I thought until I got home and checked the receipt. Roberto M (our waiter) seemed like a nice guy throughout the whole ordeal, but he charged us a bottle more than what we actually ordered. If it had been a big group with over 10 bottles I would have understood if there was some sort of confusion, but there were few of us, only 3 bottles were ordered and the place was pretty empty. I do not know if maybe it’s a strategy of the restaurant or what, but I don’t appreciate being taken advantage of in such a manner. Might never come back to this location just because of that.

Being a local Doralian for years and having been here once before with good service, I decided to come on the weekend with the family. Well from the beginning, the hostess greeting or lack there of was not warm nor inviting. After being seated for over 10 minutes without anyone coming by to greet us or take our drink orders we decided to let the hostess at the front know and we left. There was no attempt by her to ask what happened nor to make the situation any better. As a longtime resident of Doral and Chamber member, I always try to shop and dine local. This time however, I was extremely disappointed with the service and lack of attempt to make things right. They have lost a customer with repeat business.

Been at this location twice and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Getting to try 8 samples for about 9 bucks is a great deal and the food is the best thing! Its gets pretty packed on the weekends so try to get reservations prior to coming if you plan to go to the restaurant. I highly recommended that you give yourself at least an hour to try the samples.

Me and my husband went to celebrate our annual anniversary. Nice atmosphere but It was not a good experience. We didn’t got utensils until we asked for them and when we finally did, no napkins. The server kept forgetting what we ordered. The three cheese tapa barely had any cheese.

EDIT: 5/26/19 - 4 starts - After posting my original review, the owner reached out to me to try and make things right. I have since been able to go back to another Cooper's Hawk location (Pembroke Pines) and we had a much better customer service experience. We had a reservation and were sat within five minutes of arrival. Our waiter was very nice and helpful and our food and drinks were brought out promptly. The only unfortunate thing was that we asked for our filets to be cooked to medium temperature and we received well done. We did not return them because the flavor was still good despite being over cooked. EDIT: 3 stars - I have been in contact with a representative from Cooper's Hawk who has been very apologetic and has been very interested to hear my feedback in order to improve and learn from their mistakes. She has done everything to try to make things right. I will be visiting again and update my review based on that experience. Waited over an hour an a half WITH a reservation!! Why bother making a reservation if you still wait like standby! Ridiculous! Go to the Pembroke Pines location better.

I had an experience beyond amazing, from the food to the service, everything was perfect!! Let me start with the clean and nice decor of this restaurant that also has a store to buy their wines, a section to buy some sweets, accessories, and a bar for wine tasting. I can't wait to go to one of their tastings. We went to our table ( I made reservations and it was a great idea) and our waiter greeted us nicely and explained to us that we get two glasses ( tasting serving size) of the wine of our choice. After tasting we decided the one we will have with our dinner as we enjoyed the complimentary pretzels bread made from scratch and I loved the taste so much! We ordered the three medallions plate and the seabass for me. Because I have allergies I told the waiter so the kitchen can be aware. Well, he was so thoughtful and told the Chef, but the chef said that it does have shellfish, so the Manager came and personally asked me if I wanted to change the plate. Because I wanted the seabass and he noticed it, he went and spoke with the chef, who immediately said, that he will create a special sauce for me so I can enjoy my seabass. We loved our food tremendously, full of taste and body!!! as well as the service; simply exquisite. Thank you very much for giving us a delightful night

I have been to Coopers Hawk 4 times and each time I enjoyed the wine, food and the staff. Today myself and 3 of my family members went to celebrate a birthday and the Hostess Yolanda as well as our server Yordis were both AMAZING!!!!! I look forward to my next visit.. Had the most wonderful meal here a few days ago. I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken, it was so flavourful! The baked shredded potatoes and green beans served with it also had the most delicious taste, truly delightful. Our server Rob was most helpful and the French onion soup he suggested was super. The lovely hot bread roll with whipped butter was a great start and I wish we could have found room for dessert. My husband had the chicken with mushrooms on a rice pilaf, he didn't offer to share but it looked pretty good as well and he did eat it all! Had I not been so hungry I might have remembered to take a picture of the great looking plate.

Also it is common sense to me that when serving coffee or desert you would also bring a spoon. If this was a cheaper place to eat I would give it four stars but at this price point I expect service to be much better than it was.

First, the winery...great concept to allow customers to taste various wines and decide what they like best. Great value as you get a flight of 8 glasses for only $12 of the premium good tasting wines. Next was the dinner. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. The meals were fresh & delicious. Last was the integrity...I forgot my credit card after paying the bill & leaving. I realized it an hour later out having drinks nearby. When I called there I was impressed how the manager located my CC and secured it in their safe until i returned. How rare is that these days. Great place and you won’t be disappointed.

Very nice, modern, winery-industrialish looking establishment and decor. We make reservations here every year for our company's Thanksgiving lunch the Wednesday prior and everyone always leaves satisfied and impressed. The private dining room in the back is perfect for these events. Even though secluded, the room gets prime service and attention regardless. For casual lunch or dining, the general area can get a bit crowded during popular times, but the food and wine is always on point. Highly recommended!

Please Do not Order chicken parmesan was horrible. They should not put it on the menu, KFC chicken is 4 times better than this one. This place is great, the experience was amazing, the variety of wine is great, the food was delicious this include different types of flat bread, steak, seafood and desserts. The place is nice for events, very clean and organize, I think the place may have more waitresses at night because their service is kind of slow in short period between your visit, they have a bathroom inside and I highly recommend it, but dont ask for chicken (was very bad), even my family members tried it, felt like a 1$ chicken, and parmesan nothing similar of it. You have to pay for valet, not sure every day price, but thursday was 4$, (not bad at all) On my next visit I will ask for others types of food that I already tried and like it. Thanks

I’ve been to Coopers Hawk in Doral a couple of times because of the great food and wine.But,overall there’s nothing like a nice welcome Yolanda the hostess was very pleasant she told me About the barrel reserve I didn’t even know that I can get a complimentary tasting on the table!! Went for dinner on a Saturday night. I would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. When we arrived, there were a lot of people waiting to be seated but because of our reservation we only had to wait about 5 min to be seated. The service was great. The wine selection was also plentiful and the food was delicious. The ambiance wasn't so loud that you had to yell or raise your voice to be heard. Overall a great experience and a nice date location. I'm looking forward to other locations being opened closer to home.

Terrible experience! 1. The valet person was rude to my wife. 2. Waitress was nice but would forget everything. 3. Soups were cold. 4. Food came at different intervals 5. My son's steak medallions were super small and one of them was cut in half from another kind of steak cut. Half the size served at other restaurants. 6. My wife's fish under cooked. 7. Food presentation on other family members plates were sloppy. 8. Menus were sticky and wet inside 9. Asked for the manager and nobody came by. 10. This use to be my favorite restaurant. Loved going on date night, ladies night and bringing my out town family and friends for dinner and drinks. But I'll definitely think twice where I use to have no hesitation. This location in particular has very limited parking. Your best bet is to do valet ($20) but even then, you have to walk around another restaurant to get to CH. The wait was 45mins long for a party of two at 3pm. I think an almost hour wait is sonewhat long for lunch. I could expect that for dinner but not for lunch. While the waitress was pleasant and the food was (and is always) good, they ran out of rice. Again, I expect that to happen during dinner but not early afternoon. Especially something like rice. It wasn't a scarce or rare food. After waiting an hour we place our order, you're now telling me you're running out of food

How I Journey

At first I didn't like this place but after a few goes it has quickly become one of my favorite places to grab a good meal with friends. Drinks are reasonably priced, food is good with large portions and the service is usually (not always) pretty good. I look forward to the warm pretzel bread along with the veggie burger that has the most amazing quinoa salad! The lobster bisque is also a must have. Parking here is problematic, use the garage across the street if needed.

She provided helpful tips that guided us to make excellent menu choices: Flatbread - Roasted Vegetable & Goat Cheese (Mozzarella, Roasted Grape Tomatoes, Pesto, Basil, Balsamic Glaze). $9.99 Roasted Vegetable Burger - Red Quinoa, Black Beans, Toasted Rolled Oats, Arugula, Hummus, Cucumber Feta Cream, Fennel Quinoa Salad. $12.99 The side of Classic Mac n' Cheese was really creamy and flavorful. $4.99 Trio of Medallions - Horseradish, Bleu Cheese, and Parmesan-Crusted Filet Medallions, Mary's Potatoes, Asparagus. $30.99 Braised Short Rib Risotto (I am told was amazeballs!) - Carnaroli Rice, Mushroom, Sweet Onion, White Wine, Shaved Parmesan, White Truffle Oil. $25.99 Ellie's Chicken Piccata with Lemon Butter Caper Sauce, Angel Hair Pasta. $17.99 Overall, our experience was amazing! We will be back soon. I highly recommend Cooper's Hawk. It's a great central place in Doral and it's a 5 star restaurant without it being pretentious.

We were in Doral Hyatt for a business meeting for 4 days. Our last night was a dinner here. It was the BEST food all week. The flavors were complex and there was not one thing that didn't evoke a WOW from our group! I had a vegetarian empanada and it was amazing! Others had meat and fish dishes and they were all fantastic. This is definitely a do-over next time we're in the area. Thanks!

Very poor experience. Couldn't serve a beer because they couldn't tap a new keg. Couldn't serve a lemonade because they seem to have run out. Messed up the entree for one of us. Poorly trained staff. No direction from management. And the wine is clearly inferior. Skip this excuse for a restaurant.

Didn't even get to eat, so my review is based on my experience. My family and I arrived and we were seated immediately (restaurant was not busy at all) and left waiting... And waiting... And waiting. After at least 15 minutes, a waiter introduced himself and we asked for water. Then waited...And waited...And waited. After another 10-15 minutes of not even a glance by our waiter chatting it up with other waiters, we got up and left! We are typically pretty patient people bu this was ridiculous! The two stars (vs 1) is due to the fact that the menu seemed really delicious and there were some interesting and healthy choices for the kids, and that my husband told the manager on our way out about what had happened and why we were leaving and she offered to comp our entire lunch. Even though it would have been free, we opted to leave (we are nervous about complaining at any restaurant and eating phlegm or food rubbed in the floor out of spite!).

it was okay. apetizzers were good, meatballs were amazing and flatbread was good. the service was great and especially the guy working at the carryout area. the entrees were horrific. i ordered a filet mignon and it wasn’t even a filet. it was a sirloin that had NO taste. ordered mac and cheese and fries as sides, the fries were good and the mac and cheese wasn’t even mac and cheese. it was like penne and just tiny cheese sprinkled on top. don’t reccomened this place.

We loved the ambience the atmosphere we got there at Around 5:30 it was right before their dinner rush which was perfect. Right when you walk in as the nicest and prettiest Gift shop area along with a wine tasting area. You can go here in big groups to do wine tastings and dinner parties and also have an intimate dinner with your loved 1. Only reason why do not give it 5 stars is because this 81 visit our waiter seemed like he was in a bit of a hurry. He would come literally every 2 minutes to ask us if we are ready to order yet. I thought he was a little pushy and we thought rushed making our appetizer and entree decisions. Not to mention he brought us to check without us asking. Normally server etiquette would require him to ask and we would like to check.

This is my absolutely FAVORITE restaurant to visit whenever I come to Florida!!! I love the wine selection, as well as, their own line of wines. Cooper’s Hawk is a wine lovers bistro destination in Doral City Place. A very contemporary plaZa full of different type of restaurants and a small round about with lots of parking spots. At Cooper’s Hawk you can taste a great variety of California’s wine production and interesting dishes to go with the food. It was an indoor and outdoor seating place to choose from to eat, a bar, and something that is different and quite interesting is that as soon as you enter you have a wine tasting bar and a wine accessories store to buy from. The wine tasting could be fun to go with a couple, with friends, or while you are waiting for your table. The goal is to sell you a wine membership. The send you bottles of wine to your place among other benefits of it. There is lots of room for improvement in the service and time they take to bring the orders. But overall I went several times and had a good experience. I went with my couple, with friends, and with my family and kids.

Repeat customer and must say Service is ALWAYS great and a must have is the Pork belly Tostadas along with the Drunken Shrimp. Show up early for the wine tasting (Ask for Maria at the wine tasting She's great, humble and knows what she is talking about when it comes to wine!!) and make sure to make reservations if going on the weekend. Became a member for thier wine club in which we get 2 bottles a wine a month which is why we go and eat there so much. Due to this we actually referred 5 of my friends to do the same! There needs to be a reward for that type of recruitment haha.

This is one of my favorite places in all of Doral. If you like wine, it is definitely worth dropping in. Great place to hang with friends. We are club members (2 bottles a month) don't care for sit down dinner anymore. Had to many let downs in consistency, so we now prefer hanging by the bar and ordering drinks and appetizers which are much better.

Really nice and attentive service. Atmosphere= B. Feels overcrowded and noisy. Bathrooms were dirty. Food=B. It's good... but not great. Food was warm but not hot. However, brussel sprout appetizer is very good. Highly recommend. Cooper's Hawk seems like more of a wine bar than a foodie's spot. My advice- come for the wine, skip the entree's, and split some appetizers. Also- definitely make a reservation! :)

We had a great time doing a wine tasting while waiting for our table. It was so much fun we ended up staying with Edwin, our sommelier, and had great wine and truffles instead. Went to the doral location on Sunday and was very disappointed. Our server lady was horrible. She made me feel like she didn’t want to work that day. She took forever to bring our food. Our food chicken piccata was ok. Nothing special. In terms of value for your food and service I don’t think it was there.

I was very upset by the hostess named Noel. She told me she called me and spoke to me to see if I still wanted to be on the list; which she didn't speek to me as i had a missed call from the restaurant and showed her as proof.. She made me wait another 20-25 minutes as she said i had 4 people ahead of me. Really nice place and good wine, but horrible front desk staff!!! Because people like Noel I don't come here this often!!!

WORST SERVICE. AVOID. I used to be a waitress so I am very patient with servers as I can sympathize. However this place the servers really don't care about you and have terrible attitude. Very unpleasant experience. The food was brought really late and my father never even got his plate that he had to ask to cancel his order. We were seated right next to the bar but the drinks would take over 30 minutes to come. And my uncle was given the wrong beer, and she said "we don't have the beer you asked for so I just brought you this one".. uhh..?? We asked for the manager she never brought him/her. Then while we were walking out to the car she maliciously poured water in front of us. We didn't talk to any management because we were just so disgusted at that point and didn't want to fight and just leave. Will never go back here.

Visited Friday December 21. Office celebration with 6 others. Excellent food. I had the Seared Ahi Tuna. They have vegetarian meals. They also let you switch sides! Service courteous and fast. They were very busy but one server stepped in to help the other. Great place to celebrate milestones and meet. They have gift cards. They are also a winery. I will go again!

Wow . What a disappointment this place was. I had such high hopes because so many of my friends recommended this restaurant..... obviously not this location . We barely saw our waiter , and it wasn't even packed. Never once did he refill any of our waters . Ordered a filet mignon to be on the safe side .....and I received an over cooked piece of rubber. So I ended up eating 25 minutes after my husband. All we received....was a sorry . Definitely ruined our anniversary dinner. If we wanted this kind of quality food and service , we should have just went next door to famous Dave's .....

We had a Company Christmas Party at this restaurant and the service was terrible. They allocated two servers for 40 people. We spoke to the person in charge and no improvement. The appetizers and food are served on one plate and everyone at the table has to feed themselves. The wine was good, but if you are looking for a place to have a party with more than 10 people, good luck.

First off all I want you to know that this review is based on my dish *CHURRASCO GRILLED STEAK* Looked good when arrived, I ordered medium, and it was all most well done. When I turned it over I could see all the edges burned. I work in a restaurant an this things happens when you don't clean your grill often. The veggies some where cooked and others raw. And the fries where no crunchy because all the burned sauce on the plate. I didn't complain to my server, she didn't cook (lol) It was very disappointed for me today.

Extremely disappointed! It started with the parking , or lack thereof! The parking is very limited and there is no valet parking. We went on a Sunday evening and it was equivalent to Disney World. Little children were at almost every table, which was not what we expected. The servers seemed confused with our drink and food orders. After 25 minutes or more, 1drink and half of our appetizer order, (with the wrong appetizer order being brought to our table twice), we asked for the bill and left. So much for my birthday celebration! I do not think we'll ever come back! Extremely disappointed with Cooper's Hawk Winery! Yikes!!
