This is a nice area or nice location to take a date or a group of friends great selection of wines and appetizers as well as cheese and charcuterie. The atmosphere is great and if you go to the basement area The vault area is nice secluded area to have your drinks with friends.

Best place to sample wine in the World. This is a must see location if you are in the Orlando area. They have over 100 different wines available to taste. You can sample some very rare/expensive wines and only pay for a small pour as opposed to buying the whole bottle. The tasting machines are very cool and easy to use. The decor of the store is amazing. Very comfortable and you can also get cheese to go along with your wine. Do not miss this place.

I would have loved to have given a 5 star experience, however, when I went there last night to treat a friend of mine, we were pretty much asked to spend more money on the menu in order to have the privilege to sit outside. It was not busy, and we were not occupying seats for anyone else. We left completely aghast, and shortly after saw a man passed out on the sidewalk. Can't help but to wonder if he would have been a little more put together should he have had the privilege to have a seat after drinking his wine, and called an Uber. We awoke the gentleman, and he came to, but this was a horrible experience and I will no longer frequent the wine room, nor will I refer any of my clients or friends there. This was shameful service for a place in downtown Winter Park.

Love the variety of wines that is available. The food was good and the service was great. It can be crazy vusy/full in there at peak times. Be sure to get there early if you want to grab a seat/table. My only other complaint is that there is only one restroom in the whole place,and with the number of people that fill that place, makes for an unpleasant moment.

Great place to try some wine! When first walking into the wine room you can grab a glass and load a prepaid card. You use your prepaid card to dispense any of the wine bottles they have tapped. You can choose 3 different sizes - a sample, a half glass or a full glass. The wines are organized by type and region, the selection is large and well versed. The space is large but weekends can get rather crowded. There is a full service bar if self serving wine isn't your thing.

KEVIN (older gent) is the star of this show. Winter Park can get a little too fancy for it's own good sometimes, but this down-to-earth mensch took great care of us and predicted our needs at every turn. Service at Wine Room (food) is always crazy fast too, and the flat-breads are way above standard. Check out the Game of Thrones wine right now, pretty fun. But really - ask for KEVIN when you arrive and he will earn every bit of his tip. (BTW we do not know Kevin, this is an honest review).

Nice place to meet friends or hang out with a nice glass of wine. If you are unfamiliar with the wines or your group can't decide on a bottle, cards are available for myriad choices of varietals in small or large pours. Prices of bottles are comparable to retailers, not restaurants, so a night out won't break the bank. Flatbreads can make a meal, but menu is designed for sharing as appetizers. Kitchen closes 1 hour before the official closing time. Staff is helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. If you are a local, ask about the advantages of renting a wine locker. Great value!!! Wines available in all price ranges and suitable for all palates. If you must have a beer, there is a small draft selection and a surprisingly advanced craft menu. Decor and the vault room make this a perfect place to invite guests and make everyone comfortable.

Three words... Sangue di Guida This is one of our absolute favorite places and the scene of one of our first dates almost a decade ago. The atmosphere and service are top notch and there are many tapas to choose from to compliment the vast selection of wines. While we've tried many, our go-to favorite Sangue di Guida remains the continuous champion. A MUST try for sweet, red lovers!! Looking forward to our next date night here.

Never have I experienced another place like this, so it gets major points in that category alone. They have a lady's night where women get double value on the wine card (that you load up with money to purchase wine) That's quite frankly is the only way this place ends up getting our business. It's a rare occurrence when we show up but usually spend anywherenform $50-100 in an evening. Perfect spot for someone that knows nothing about wine because they can try everything.

Visiting family and was recommended this place as a cool experience. But didn't realize how hard it would be to get in. I have an out of state ID and they had to call the manager to check the validity. The manager didn't say yes or no, he simply said it's fine I guess. So unprofessional... Like get a book/brochure showing all the state IDs if you're going to be this strict. It made me feel unwelcomed even though I've actually been legal drinking age for several years now and my mom, aunt, and older sister were with me, not like in trying to get in with a bunch of young college girls. Now to the actual experience. We loved it! So many selections. We each tasted around and then grabbed a full glass and went downstairs to the vault to enjoy wine and conversation. Such a cool vibe. We went on a Sunday night and it was very quiet, which was also nice. Overall, loved the concept... That's why we went in the first place.

I honestly would have given a higher review if it wasn’t for the guy at the door. He was less than welcoming, like he didn’t want business. Checking every detail on my ID. I was dressed beautifully as usual so not sure what his problem was. I don’t even get checked like this when I go through TSA. The service inside was great so that earned them points.

Really nice place to sample different wines from different countries and regions. All the wines come with their own descriptions. Very nice experience. The only thing I would say is that the prices for the samples are a little bit pricey, but this is located in Winter Park and most things is Winter Park is expensive. A really nice wine bar, can order a cheese platter to go with your wine. I would visit their again.

I love the win room. It's a great place to go with a group. The star of the show is Max the cheese guy. We go all the time, never have had a bad experience. They have a few beer selections for the beer drinker in the group, and their limited but excellent food options are all fantastic. Don't even try to order the cheese, tell them you want Max to help and then be prepared for a tour of the world via cheese.

Nice layout, but quite a few machines were not working. Cheese plates looked great. We were told there were machines in the vault area in basement with some great wines, but there was nothing. Pricing a bit on higher side but it’s still nice to have lots of choices.

Wine selection is good. However the service is not good. Ordered cheese and charcuterie...after 30ish minutes, they brought it out to the wrong group of people who touched therefore they had to remake it. They assured us that it would be quick. Well another 20-30 minutes later, still no food. The group next to us ordered a few items after we did, yet they received their food first. We decided to leave since it had been ~1 hour and no cheese or charcuterie...it’ll be a while before I return.

When I stopped an employee to order food I was told "Paul will take care of you". However, Paul did not after four times of him walking past me at the bar. So I walked out.

The service is good. The servers will do everything in their power to best serve your needs. Nathan and Colin are two of the superstars on that place. Savannah is the one person you want to stay away. She will be a back burner if you say something about how the food is being made. She can be a real problem for anyone. That is why I am giving them four stars.

The food and wine were good, the place is cozy. Unfortunately my card for wine tasting was stolen and the staff that handle the situation wasn’t very helpful. Apparently they can’t keep track of their cards, something they don’t mention at the cashier. Basically is your responsibility that your card doesn’t get stolen, they can’t do anything about it. In other words, they have customers with bad habits and a card system that enables that behavior. If you want to come here don’t leave the card anywhere or unattended, not even for a second.

Lovely atmosphere and hospitality, but for the price there sure were a lot of empty bottles or bottles that were close to being empty so you didn't get your full serving size. This made for a lot of trips to the front counter to get the money loaded back onto our card. It's easy to spend a lot of money here so plan on spending at minimum $20-$50 per person. It's definitely worth going at least once and especially for anyone just starting to get into wine since there is a huge selection.

This is one of the new restaurants in Disney Springs - Wine Bar George. If you live wine, you will love this restaurant. Hundreds of wine to choose from, by the glass or bottle. It has a limited menu but, boy, the food is unique and top draw. They pride themselves in getting your orders as quickly as possible. It is a two level restaurant with large open windows - great views!

Really nice atmosphere. Was a little warm due to volume of people so a jacket isn't really needed. I don't drink so I can't comment on the wine selection (though the group I was with seemed very pleased). I did have an orange juice and a quesadilla and they were delicious. Servers were surprisingly very attentive even with such a large crowd. Limited seating so grab an empty seat quick!

Nice place to wind/wine down with friends. I didn't know about it my first time there, but there is a really cool basement area with seating. It's inside and old vault and the massive door is still there. You can get cheese and light nibbles which are tasty.

Love the tasting experiences at The Wine Room. Last night we tasted Orin Swift wines with host Trevor. He was super knowledgeable and congenial. The tastings are always relaxed and the hosts down to earth and willing to answer any, and I mean any of MY off the wall, questions. They are held downstairs in the vault and seating is limited to 24 guests. Each tasting is paired with awesome cheeses from their cheese cave and Max, their fromager, is over the top knowledgeable. He explains the cheeses, how/where made and why they pair with a particular wine. My very first wine tasting was at The Wine Room hosted by David Black a decade ago

Im a wine collector and was impressed with the reviews online so I tried The Wine Room tonight. The selection of wines were far beyond my expectations and I had a great time sampling rare finds. My experience became less than appetizing when I sat down for small plates and a charcuterie board. My server was less than knowledgeable about wine and not very cultured. In 2019, I would think places would be more open to diversity but immediately she led with her presumptions as if I was less than knowledgeable. I had to ask her a few times about a particular bottle I wanted to purchase before she took me seriously. She wasn’t very familiar with the cheese selections on the menu she placed in front of me, and when making small talk to break the tension she was vague and kept backing away. I’d go back simply because they carry rare finds, but I won’t stay for small plates or service because I felt unwanted.

They are very racist. We went downstairs for seating and the server randomly asked my husband if we would be loud or not. She also told us we could not sit more than 5 people together. Meanwhile the group next to us who was the same race as her was sitting 6 people in their group and she didn’t tell them they could not. As soon as the manager got our money, he acted rudely. Once we stepped out of the back door to wait for the restroom since it was too crowded inside, the door locked. The manager saw that we had just been inside and had their food containers with leftovers in our hands and he refused to let my husband back in to use the restroom. If you are any other race except white, you will be prejudged and treated badly. We will not return.

This was such a cool place to visit and have a drink... (or 3)! The wine selection is amazing and there's something for every taste. I highly recommend purchasing a wine card for $3 and utilizing the wine dispensers, rather than ordering by the glass/bottle. The dispensers allow you to pick between 3 pours (a swig, a half glass and a full glass). Prices are listed for each wine and each pour selection. You insert your card and it deducts the amount, telling you your current balance. So easy! Food is available as well. Staff are kind and knowledgeable. Great place to take anyone who appreciates wine or a nice, chill atmosphere.

Fantastic place. The wine selection is always diverse, with some super unique offerings if you are looking for something a bit different to try, and the food is quite delicious. The only critique I would offer is that I would like to see a bit more focus put on the education of the staff on the different wines currently being offered, so that they would be able to answer questions more.

I always have a good time when I come here with friends. It's a great way to try different wines before you buy, ensuring you'll like what you buy. For novices, it's a great way to learn what type(s) of wines your like(sweet, dry, sparkling, etc.). I always run into old friends or make new ones, as the seating is intimate. The location is in an old bank building & the vault on the bottom floor is converted into a room that you can reserve for groups. They also have a good selection of cheeses & meats that you can nosh on while dipping on your wine & enjoying great conversation. You might even run into one of our local sports or TV legends while your there.

This wine bar has a great concept. You place an amount of money on a card that you want to spend and then walk around to several carousels of different wines to try...but two of the carousels were down...of the particular wines that I wanted to try. When inquiring about it we really didn’t get a complete answer...more like “oh well, go try something else.” That was disappointing.

Went on a Friday night around 8pm. The place was full of patrons but it did not feel overcrowded by my standards. Loaded up a card with my friends and was able to try a myriad of wines with them, some that I loved some that I didn't. Certain sections of the wine bar were out of order which led to some disappointment. Besides the malfunctions we had a great time hanging out at the refurbished underground vault.

I found it strange that a couple brought their what looked like barely 2 month old child into this bar. I didn't know bars were a safe place for babies...crazy. But overall had a great time.

Maybe we went on a bad day, hard to find a table or place to sit. Service was slow, I see why its better to serve yourself there, also little messy with trash and empty glasses sitting around. Oh we went on a Sunday afternoon.

Great experience! Wonderful opportunity to try a variety of wines. Delicious food served there as well. Highly recommend the baked brie and the truffle mushroom flat bread.

The wine room is a nice place to go are hang out. With wine options to try around every corner how can you go wrong. It can get very loud though and often hard to find a seat, but makes for a good girls night out. We were lucky enough this visit that the vault down stairs(I will let you ask to hear the story for yourself) was open for seating, and we were able to relax in a more quite atmosphere. The food is good portion for sharing, and everything we had was delicious.

Great place to hang out with good food and great wine and beer selection. Their flatbreads are good but a little pricy for what you get. The staff here is very friendly and more than happy to help with the wine choice. This is also the only place where you can get Sangue di Giuda, a really good sweet red wine. Go on Wine Down Wednesday, they will double whatever you load onto your wine card as long as it’s more than $20.

I was there for a friend so I did not drink. The mango juice was delicious! And the wine selection looked really great, I wouldn't know. There was a lot though. The temperature was really high unfortunately, with the amount of people inside, not a lot of sitting room either.
