Great boutique winery with excellent wines. The grapes are from on property or the local area. Made in smaller batches so if you have a favorite, don't delay buying a bottle or you might miss out. There are some nice deals for their Anniversary weekend (November).
Stopped in for a wine tasting and artisanal vendor event. It was very busy but the waitress behind the bar immediately said hello as did one of the owners I believe. We checked out some local vendors but then went across the breezeway to find a seat inside their Red Lion Tasting Room. The buildings are beautiful with rustic wood, stone, large old barn beams, and artisan forged metal accents throughout. The girls who served us were very accommodating, making sure to find us a seat despite the large crowd and took their time in explaining the wines, and making suggestions. A worthwhile stop if you are exploring Chester County. It was raining when we were there, but the views are beautiful overlooking their vineyard. And honestly, happy it is not for under 21.
Great vinos and views
Originally I had a 1 star review due to an accidental butt dial review. I love this place. Great atmosphere and great wine!!

Great Atmosphere and decor, wine not half bad either! I brought the baby, she was a hit!
We love visiting Galer! The property is gorgeous with fantastic wine!
Lovely staff, very knowledgeable. I didn't love any of their wines, but my husband really liked their ice wines so we got some and a cheese plate and enjoyed the live music on the patio. Recommended.
Had a great time and really enjoyed their wines and atmosphere! Try the Albariño --it's a rare grape and these guys do it well.
Love this place! Love the owners!
Our club did a wine tasting experience yesterday. Beautiful setting, knowledgeable leader and very nice wines.
Great place! Beautifully architecturally... Counters are from Independence Hall steps.. Remnants from Italy. No food so you can bring in food... We had a pizza delivered?

Galer Estate wine beats much of the wine we had in Nappa Valley. We were very impressed. The cheese plate was very good too. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately the tasting room event manager (Kate) for the on site winery was extremely rude. After giving the approval for family members, including my 3 week old newborn, to greet my mother and father in law for their anniversary at the reserved cottage (not tasting room), the tasting room manager subsequently berated my mother in law for the presence of her grandchild, making her feel unwelcome at the cottage and bringing her to tears. My mother in law felt so uncomfortable that she left the cottage immediately, returning only briefly to pick up a family gift basket before vacating the room instead of enjoying their evening in the cottage.
We did the airbnb at their onsite cottage location, it was a wonderful and cozy cottage with a great picture window view of the vineyard. The tasting room had wonderful wines, and the staff was very helpful and attentive. We definitely recommend a visit!
Only have dry wines, which are not that good, and they seem to cater to their regular customers. Would not revisit
Buetiful place and good wine.
First, the winery is beautiful. We've visited on several occasions, for special events or just to hang out. Great place to see the Longwood fireworks. My favorite wine is the Reserve Chardonnay. It's crisp with citrus notes and very little oak. (I'm not an oak fan) They offer wonderful charcuterie and cheese selections but also don't mind if you bring your own food. Weekends usually include live music. Owner operated with very friendly staff
The winery is beautiful - rustic & charming. The wines are very good - whites and reds, especially the Reserve wines. In the spring and summer, the deck is the perfect to sit outside for a tasting & bottle to enjoy! Highly recommend.
The wines get better and better! It's fun to sit outside in summer, but is a cozy spot in the winter to get a nice flight or glass of wine before or after Longwood Christmas lights. Not a great place for food, but you can bring your own. Nice and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful and interesting decor.
Wow, a hidden gem right in our back yard , beautiful property with lots a amazing art, and pretty views . Not to mention the wine , we have not been a big fan of pa wines but this place has won is over ...... and they have a Airbnb if you want to stay , we will definitely be back .

Great wine and awesome atmosphere. Sometimes they have local artist featuring their work.
The wine and light fare were exceptional. The bartender told us the place has been open for about 6 years now. With that being said, it still has a little ways to go when it comes to food options; however, the scenery and ambiance of the rustic barnyard bar is enough to make you feel at ease. The cabernet franc is delicious and highly recommend it! Definitely coming back during the warmer weather to see live performances and enjoy their outdoor deck area.
We come all the way from Baltimore to hang out here. Great wine ( we love the chardonnay reserve). You should also get a loaf of the bread they get from a local bakery. Try to hit a night where they have Bill Hake playing.
One of the coolest places to hang out and drink some of the best PA wines.
Visited on a "Longwood Gardens fireworks night" so they were open later and we had a perfect view of the fireworks show. Wines were good - especially the un-oaked Chardonnay. They allow you to bring in food and explore the property as you wish.
One word to describe the experience. AMAZING!
Great deck with tables with umbrellas and a nice view of the vineyards. Nice wines, and some light fare served by a friendly staff.
Entered the tasting room and was asked if we made a reservation...really?? It's a tasting room. We went outside and found a table then were approached by a staff member and told we have to leave because no one under 21, including babies were allowed to be in the property. Apparently a 2 month old newborn will get too rowdy for them. This was very surprising considering it was the 4th winery in the area we had been to that day.
Lovely selection of dry wines. The Rosé and red blend were favorites. I wish they had more varieties of dry reds, but in time I’m sure they will!
Should have read some of the other reviews first. The $20 cheese plate was a joke. It was handed to us with a set of scissors and two wrapped cheese blocks. We didn't finish it, and we were handed a ziploc bag as a to-go container. The wines were ok. We were visiting from out of state, nothing I felt I just had to take home with us.
Beautiful
Jason gave us a great tour of the facility, he was knowledgeable about the wines and most importantly he picked out the wines that we loved! Dont miss this small gem
Being generous with two stars. Wine is really just table wine. Food was handed to us in plastic wrap with an unsharpended knife and scissors. Had to use my own pocket knife to slice cheese. Their flagship chardonnay could use many more months in oak. Has the potential but fell short. Marginal place if you are looking to drink a light wine with the wawa sandwich you brought with you. Owners, observe the experience you want your customers to have...
Friendly staff, cool building. Had the tasting flight. Mediocre wine except the Vidal Blanc which was quite good.
It is neither Ch. d'Yquem nor Tokaji but if you have many Inniskillin and would like to have something different, try their 2012 Vidal Blanc ice wine. However, if you go there on Saturday or Sunday, try to visit the small local bakery “The Bakers At RedLion” across the street. Worth you to try.
Great wine and even better staff .highly recommend!
All show & no go..I've had better tap water for $22.00...I have been to many wineries this is no more then a movie set...looks nice, but save your money this is the worst crap I have ever had...never before have I left a winery with nothing to show except this crappy review..Ugh.

They didn't have one red wine. Venue is nice though
Disappointing atmosphere... went there with a group of my friends for my birthday, was told I wasn't allowed to wear my birthday crown and then told they were busy. "Tried" to find us seats. Never even tried the wine, we left and headed off to one of our favorites instead.
