Lots of choices, but I didn't see any advantages over a local liquor provider. Stew Leonard's was not any less expensive than Al's, but it is convenient to Stew Leonard's.

If you are looking for wines with 90 to 95 points selling between $10.00 to $20.00 then this is the place to go. They also offer wine discounts such as %10 for a 12 bottles. Something to think about when shopping for wines. If you are not sure what works - you can ask for assistance from their able and experienced sommeliers. You can check out their wine tasting on Saturdays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. via "wine-tasting with Larry. There are assuredly wines from France, Italy, and other countries too. If you are looking for beers artisanal, local and national brands they have it.. also vodka, tequila etc. the usual suspects. A pleasant wine shopping experience with none of the snobbery but plenty of help or leave-you-alone-if-you-like atmosphere.

I have taken away a star because Stew Leonard's is about a 26 mile round trip from home. However, their selection of wines rivals any warehouse dealership, and their prices are right about where I expected them to be. However, if I don't have any reason to be in Norwalk, I will purchase my liquor from Al's warehouse in Fairfield.
