At first the winery had great service when we were buying drinks and bottles but at 4:15pm they start telling us we only had 15 minutes and come out every 5 minutes to tell us how much time we had left because there was a wedding. My friends and I left at 4:30pm when they closed. We were talking in the parking lot and a working came out and told us that we needed to leave the parking for the wedding and they needed the parking spaces. It was incredible rude and unprofessional. I had been told this winery was a great place to go but I will never return because of the service.

A beautiful venue for a party... Which why I was there...... And the wine ... Delicious. The staff, however , were rude, offput and just overall inconvenienced at every single request. I Couldn't help but wonder if the client felt the same. Today there are so many choices of where to hold an event .... Not to mention wineries. The employee who called herself the "event planner" seemed as agitated as did the two employees who she left in charge. Eek!! The food , however was delicious and the singer and other entertainment were delightful... No doubt ... They held the evening together and made it s night to remember.

Such an amazing place! Stop here to kick off a Bachelorette weekend trip to Mohegan Sun. Wonderful service and delicious wine. Loved that they let you bring your own food. We brought lunch and ate on the beautiful deck in the sun while having our wine tasting. Looking forward to going again with family and friends!

Solid wine. Exceptional atmosphere and very friendly staff. Went on a Friday night with the kids and couldn’t have been happier. A food truck was on location and everything was great. An awesome location and a great place to enjoy some wine with the whole family.

Let me explain my ONE STAR review. The wine gets FIVE STARS, the host we had gets the one star. We went yesterday, Friday, September 6. There were 3 people that had just finished a tasting and purchased a bottle of wine to sit out on the patio and enjoy. We came to the counter, the girl was less than thrilled to see us. We picked our 5 tastings and she poured the first for each of us and left the bar area. We sipped out wine. Finished and waited. She came back around poured our second tasting and once again left the bar area. There are two other employees discussing other things in the room, and I believe our host wanted to be included in this discussion. Our third glass was poured and you guessed it, she left the bar area only to return with her lunch and then proceeded to eat it during our tasting. She then poured the rest of our tastings all the while eating her lunch and talking to the other two employees. We were not told anything about the wines or what they would be paired with. Along with this there was discussion about a Catering service and our host had terrible things to say about them. Honestly, you don’t bad mouth people like that in front of patrons. You never know if they are employees, maybe going to use that particular company, etc. As I stated the wine was nice, but dealing with the rude and less than enthusiastic host will make it that I do not return and word of mouth is your best advertisement!

I've visited over twenty of CTs vineyards, this one is in the top three favorites. The wine was very good, and several were very different from wines I've had before. After our wine tasting, we went outside to the deck overlooking the property. The drizzle and gray sky did not diminish the beauty of this vineyard one bit. Definitely recommend this gem. Don't forget to bring your own crackers, brie, and olives!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Preston Ridge this past June and could not have been more pleased. First of all, the grounds are stunning, with beautiful views overlooking the vineyard from both the tasting room deck and upper lawn where our ceremony was held. Preston Ridge also has their own beautiful event tent included in the rental, and we were also able to rent all tables and chairs through them, which made for a more streamlined rental process. Not only do we love the event space itself, but we also love the wines served at Preston Ridge. We chose to serve their rose at our wedding, and it was the favorite wine by far. Preston Ridge was also incredibly affordable, particularly in comparison to other vineyards in Connecticut, and other venues along the shoreline, especially considering the event tent is included in the rental fee. We also found them to be highly responsive during the planning process. Our favorite aspect of working with Preston Ridge was undoubtedly the staff. Every staff member we came into contact with was genuinely down to Earth. This quality is not always easy to find at vineyards, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had the pleasure to work with such kind and goodhearted individuals. Something we did not initially consider was also how much fun it was to have our rehearsal at the vineyard. After running through the ceremony, our wedding party enjoyed their wines for several hours before heading off to dinner. It was a really enjoyable aspect of booking at a vineyard, especially one as easy-going as Preston Ridge. I would highly recommend booking with Preston Ridge. We look forward to visiting the vineyard for many years to come, as it holds a special place in our hearts and will always remind us of our special day.

It's a great place to hang out on a Friday night during the summer. Sometimes there's a lot of people, and sometimes it's calmer. Either way, it's a great place to come with friends on Friday night, grab food from the food truck, enjoy the wine and views! Highly recommend it, the wine is delicious too! Staff are extremely friendly too
