An excellent tasting room with very good wines makes this an excellent vineyard to visit. They had two dry red wines to taste, several whites, and two fruit wines. The wines were very good, so went upstairs and ordered some food and enjoyed the view

Great family run Vineyard with great wines made by winemaker Jim Baker. Night Owl wine was one of my favorites. Wonderful outdoor area around the pond adjacent to the vineyard to sip and enjoy.

One of my favorite vineyards in CT! The white wines are delicious and they also have ice wines depending on the year! The views are gorgeous as well and a great stop when in the Litchfield Hills!

Beautiful nice place. But only thing I didn't like there's nobody who can explain and make a tour through vineyards for outside random guests. Otherwise to arrange a tour, there're supposed to be at least 10people

We really enjoyed our visit to the Hopkins Vinyards, set on a picturesque hillside overlooking Lake Waurmag. Our server guided us through a tasting of many excellent wines. We loved the gift shop and took home a few bottles.

Best vineyard in CT, hands down. The wine selection is will balanced, the staff is absolutely phenomenal, and the views are outstanding. It's a bit off the beaten path, but the drive is always nice. The cheese selection is great too.

Beautiful location on the total opposite side of the state from me. Well worth the trip. Jeremy was friendly and welcoming and knows his stuff. We arrived too late for a tasting but we were able to enjoy a glass. I got Sachams Picnic which is a fruity red. They have a great mixture of dry and fruity choices as well as dessert wines.

Only a handful of wineries are open in the winter and Hopkins is one of them. I tried their sweetheart package to celebrate Valentine's Day with the misses and we were pleasantly surprised to find not only a great selection of wines but also great food pairings. Paul guided us expertly through the tasting and even gave us great hiking suggestions in the area. Our package included a platter which we enjoyed listening to live music in the wine bar on the 2nd floor. We'll definitely be back in the spring time to enjoy the surroundings a little more.

This winery is beautiful! Definitely my favorite in CT. The scenery is beautiful-lots of flowers and trees Amoung the picnic tables outside. Also, the tasting room is large and the staff is very friendly.

Years ago they had a promotion that if you bought a few cases (maybe 5) in a year, you would earn a lifetime discount as a preferred customer. So I did. Then a couple years after they decided to not honor their commitment (they said it was too expensive). I’ll never go back.

I have gone there when they've been packed: summer weekend and holiday sip and shop. So going today, a cold January weekend, was great. No crowds, warm wood stove going, live music and wonderful staff. The wines are great, from grapes grown on their farm, not brought in from another state.
