Just visited this place a couple hours ago with my girlfriend. I’m not too big on wine myself but my girlfriend is and she loved it. The food was excellent (I really recommend the cheese platter) and the service was great. I enjoyed the great hospitality with the owner greeting me at the door and made sure I was doing okay, don’t know his name but super nice guy. Thank you and best of luck with the future, definitely coming back.

Arrived without reservation. We lucked out as table opened up as we arrived. Enthusiasticly greeted and seated. Wine was very good. Food looked delicious but we had reservations elsewhere. Waitress was really nice and let us taste a couple before ordering a glass. Can't wait for warmer weather to go there outdoors.

Drove all the way there only to be told you need a reservation. Nowhere on the site does it say anything about needing a reservation. Tried calling them from in front of their gate only to get a answering machine. Not good business. Sorry for the one star review but what a waste of a beautiful day.

I thought this place was lovely when I first saw it from the outside. Once I walked in I was greeted by rude staff that told me they may not be able to seat me by the end of the night. This was clearly a lie because we were seated shortly after we put our name down. We ordered a couple of tapas just to find a hair in our food. When we brought it up to the waitress she said it must have been one of ours, but none of us had blonde hair! Very awful experience will not go back and I do not recommend trying it.

One star for a pretty place. Valet parking was a nightmare, no samplings as at other vinyards, $11 for a single glass of wine. Too loud to speak to someone sitting next to you. Crowd was in their 20's. Not worth the effort unless its about being out and about and drunk.

Del Vino is an amazing experience!! You get the vibes and feel of the Hampton’s without the hassle of getting there.. the staff is incredible, prompt and friendly .. prices are good as well as the food.. overall the venue is phenomenal and we will be repeat customers many times over!!

Nice atmosphere. Just popped in to check it out so to speak. Nice people, I will definitely be going back when I have time to try the food. The Ultimo Cabernet blend was excellent.

It's a very elegant looking place with a 2 floor interior and ample seating. On the Friday night we were visited there was valet parking and live music. The wine was good and reasonably priced. I thought the food pairing was a bit pricey though. Overall I liked it but the service was abysmally slow. We had to ask several times for our meat and cheese platter. We had almost given up when it finally appeared like a surprise gift from a long lost relative. Tip for the restaurant. Improve the service. You'll sell more wine and food pairings.

Good news definitely traveled fast regarding what a terrific place this vineyard is. There was a wait when we arrived on a Sunday, but, the owner, himself, was gracious and accommodating bringing us each a glass of wine while we waited. Once inside he and his staff went out of their way to seat us in order that one of our group, who is handicapped, had room at the table with her scooter. Despite the crowd, all of the staff were pleasant and we never felt rushed. We had wine and delicious appetizers. We all loved the pesto thin crust pizza and the meat/cheese board. I want to thank the owner, Fred, for making our 1st experience at Del Vino a positive one and can assure him that we will be back again soon. Linda G

I had high hopes for a new spot in town. Northport desperately needs a place for good food. I don’t like the valet parking feature. The structure itself is disjointed. The bar is too sterile, too bright, too many TVs (7) in one room. Very loud. It wasn’t cozy or romantic like other vineyards. The tables are all high with bar chairs with no backs. I felt like I was in a sports bar. The food was good at a good price point. The wine was not a generous pour for $12. I really wanted this to be a great neighborhood hot spot but it’s just another Northport sports bar.

This is a loud bar NOT a vineyard. No seating, no help from staff to be seated. Completely crowded, standing room only and they never bothered to open the upstairs for patrons. The musician was crammed into this tiny space with the volume so loud no one could talk. This place started out with good intentions of being a unique experience but just ended up as another bar on Long Island.

Great place to take the family for a holiday meal. So sad that the some of the neighbors can do nothing but complain. People like Susan Beuel should sell their homes and move away from the area rather than simply write obnoxious comments and have them published in Newsday. Susan, take action, throw a for sale sign on your front lawn and lower the price enough to make a quick sale and then leave town. When you bought your lovely home in such a peaceful and tranquil location, was there a clause in your contract that guaranteed the surrounding area would never change and stay to your liking? I will be sure to tell as many of my friends as I can about this wonderful place and frequent this establishment as much as possible.

I enjoyed the vineyard. Valet parking is complimentary and price for a glass of wine is $10. Not bad if you’re only looking for a drink in front of a vineyard. It was very busy this weekend because of Labor Day. Might be less hectic off holiday weekend. There was a car line to get into the establishment. Quality valet service just very busy. Can only make reservations with 6 or more.

The food is delicious and the beers and wines are enjoyable - I wanted a little more out of the Sauvignon and the Rose Dolce was a bit sweet for my wife, but the Pinot Grigio was on the money. Relaxing atmosphere and a nice escape. We'll definitely come again.

Was at the Vineyard yesterday for the first time. The place is gorgeous and so was the food and wines. But the service staff was EXCEPTIONAL. We were in bit of a unique situation yesterday where the gorgeous weather turned into dark clouds and a storm (almost like a tornado) that came out of no where.. the timing of the DAMAGING winds and storm was so sudden that everyone had to drop everything and run inside. There was quite a bit of havoc as plates, glasses, umbrellas and even tables and chairs where all effected by the damaging winds. While the outdoor was a big mess there was a lot of panic indoor as well with everyone trying to comfort each other. Amidst all of this what stood out exceptionally was the STAFF and the team that worked relentlessly to bring the situation under control. There was a crew outdoor trying to fix the damage without worrying about the storm and the crew indoor equally stepped it up to calm guests and attend to their immediate needs. Everywhere I looked each server/bartender/or any staff member was working to the best they could to handle the situation at hand. Kudos to this team for the exceptional teamwork and for handling an unforeseen situation so well.

An extremely beautiful place, you feel like you’re in another country for the day. Best part is that it is local. Food and wine are excellent and the atmosphere unique. The outdoor bean toss is a hit with young and old.

Excellent local winery with food options! We went today for the first time. I had the dry rosé, my husband did the Cab and Tuscan Reds. We both loved our wine. We got the almonds and margarita pizza too. So good! This will be a regular stop for us.

Held my bridal shower here and it was amazing their staff where so helpful especially niki(nicole?) she went above and beyond on everything! The owners are always so sweet to us! And we love the wine and atmosphere! Thank god this place opened here its perfect!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I’ll start off by saying we went for our first time during Memorial Day weekend. We did have a 1.5 hr wait but I can tell you it was well worth it. We had a bottle of wine while waiting which I will add that was very very good. Enjoyed the scenery. When we got sat... food was phenomenal. We had 5 different apps and they were delicious. To the point that I would go back to a WINERY for the food. We met the owner Fred and he was great. Not the typical owner. Very cool down to earth. After we ate he came and checked up on our experience. My significant other and I live in northport and we can honestly say that Del Vino is going to be our new place. Highly recommend it.

I wasn't sure what to expect from Del Vino and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the grounds and building itself looked when we arrived. Inside, their tasting room is physically comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed several of their wines. Their reds are apparently sourced from somewhere in the Sonoma or Mendoza area of California while their whites and the grapes for their Rose are grown on site. Each of the wines we sampled - which includes their entire red menu, their Moscato, and their Rose - were delicious. We enjoyed their Bavarian pretzels and their Del Vino sandwich. Everything was fresh and well made. I write this while sitting at a table near their gas fireplace and am already looking forward to coming back here in the future.

Service was terrible, wine sucked, and food was garbage. Avoid at all costs. If your looking for good food and drink try any of the restaurants down in the village before going to this dive bar Definitely not a kid friendly atmosphere either

Went there when this place was first opening up. I liked the festive atmosphere, good live music, and valet parking. The wine was okay, but I would like to try it again in a little more time when it has time to age. The food menu was solid. The people working the bar area were a little overwhelmed, but since this was really early into opening, I have a feeling that has gotten better. Looking forward to going again and seeing how things have changed from the first couple of weeks.
