Of all the places I visited in Palisade, this was my favorite. $5 for 5 Mead tastings, and they were all excellent. The staff was super friendly and loved their job. They also had lots of spices, dessert toppings, and honey based products where you can easily spend a ton of money. If you like sweet drinks, go here.

Fun times! I am not usually a fan of sweet wine but this was a unique experience. The honey wines were delicious! We had a great time and came away with a couple bottles of yummy mead. One tastes like chocolate covered cherries! Also had delicious honey butters and sauces and jams. I bought some organic lotion.

I love mead and they did not disappoint me. This is a place worth stopping at. There is mead and lots of it. I enjoyed new combinations of fruits and honey. I think they are on to something. You must try the Peach & Honey blend.

I had never tried honey wines and had low expectations. They're on the sweeter side, most of them, but their drier ones are very good and refreshing. Nice find that stands out from the rest of the traditional wineries in Palisade.

Our first time trying mead wine. We both enjoyed the chocolate cherry honey wine. It's very sweet, so you only needed one glass maybe 2. We bought a bottle of wine we liked, a jar of chocolate honey spread, and cinnamon honey spread. Everything was really delicious! They had everything from lotions, lip balm, salsa, jams, t-shirts, wine, and so much more. It was hard not to want to buy everything. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. They let us try a few wines before deciding on a bottle. This was a great stop for us and will definitely be back when we are in town!

Awesome meadery! Loved it. Don't wave tasting fee even with large wine purchases. Poor communication of paying for tastings at all 3 wineries in advance with "passport" card. Wish we knew that ahead of time.

Mead is amazing! It seriously changes the game. So much smoother than wine. The staff was so friendly and made the experience really fun. We got a passport to all the Talon wineries which turned out to be a super fun day. Had to pick up a bottle of mead at the end of the day. Will definitely want more mead in the future.

Nice establishment and such a varied selection of Meade. Did not do a tasting but we purchase a couple bottles to enjoy later. The one staff person was very nice told us about the Meadery. We sat in the gazebo outside and had our lunch. And the wine we had later back at home, was excellent. Wish we had bought more.

Helpful and delicious!! Try as many as you can and make the best decision. We walked away with the strawberry and the apricot. I don't love chocolate but the chocolate cherry reminded me of a Tootsie Pop

12 selections for tasting. All good. If you have never sampled mead (honey wine), then go there and sample every one of their products. You will find several that you will enjoy.

Great mead (honey wine) here. The Lancelot semi-dry was my favorite and the best classic mead I've had to date. The guy who helped us was very nice and also gave us some good advice for things to do in the area. They offer tastings so if your in the area and have time I definitely recommend the stop.

Get the passport and try their two wineries as well! If you like mead, the tasting notes of the wines will be up your alley too. Meadery of the Rockies was definitely one of the places I was most excited for on our trip to Palisade. I've always really liked their stuff but it's hard to find anything more than their plain meads in liquor stores. Needless to say, the tasting was an absolute treat! We ended up taking home the chocolate cherry and the strawberry. Staff was super friendly, and the store was lovely. I ended up picking up a few souvenirs to go with my bottles!

Love the atmosphere, great mead. The gentleman that helped me called himself "Mr. Martha" he was extremely helpful, great tips on pairings with the different meads, all around very knowledgeable and very helpful. I left with a amazing strawberry mead after the samples.

If you like Mead, this is the place for you. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The rating is for the facility and staff. It turns out mead isn't to our taste. However, the people who liked mead seemed to enjoy.

Very friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff to help you decide. I bought an engagement gift for a friend and they happened to also bring mead from the same establishment..only we were 120 miles from where I bought it. It's good when people go that far to get some mead. Enjoy :)

Wanted to pop in real quick and taste some wine before I headed out of town, and maybe purchase a bottle. Staff wouldn't let me start off with the wine I wanted to, and with no explanation, and forced me to taste one at time and wait. I wanted to taste the 5 complimentary tasters and decide which bottle to purchase, but most are fairly sweet and given that they are made with honey that was expected. Staff customer service was poor and wine was decent. The snarky staff made it an easy decision not to purchase.
