So many good things to say about this place. The food was really great, the staff was super friendly, and the ambiance was on point. I'm a little picky when it comes to red wines and the guys behind the bar were very helpful. They helped me pick out some wines based on my descriptions of wines I liked. I believe it was a blend I ended up with :-) Thank you for the great experience! Like Share

Gorgeous winery right in the heart of Palisade. Matt the winetender and local baseball player was great. Loved all of the wine I tasted.

We chose Maison La Belle Vie (Amy's Courtyard) because of the gorgeous vineyard location with the Bookcliffs and the Mesa as the backdrop. John Barbier and Laurence Guilmineau were wonderful to work with, making the planning on our end very easy. The site hosts many wedding ceremonies and receptions and has nearly everything a couple could want. We chose to have them cater the food, making set up and clean up even easier. As the caterer, they provide food, tables, chairs, waitstaff, drinks, drink ware, tableware, and many other decorations. We really just had to tell them how we wanted things arranged and it was done. The food was delicious, many of our guests mentioned how much they loved the meal we served, and the wine, of course, is fantastic. We were also able to bring in a keg from a nearby brewery. The staff did an amazing job setting up on our day, in very warm temperatures, and making sure everything went smoothly during the ceremony and reception. They also worked easily with our other vendors (cake, wedding planner, sound, etc.). The ladies got ready onsite and were able to use the upstairs room for nearly the entire day to do hair, makeup, photos, etc. They served us food and drinks while we got ready and made the entire day wonderfully relaxing for the wedding party. Maison is absolutely worth looking into for a wedding, or just a fun celebration, as it is a gorgeous venue with wonderful hosts.

It’s cute place with beautiful grounds but when we went in to do wine tastings the only had dessert white wine and red wine left. My husband tried the red and said it wasn’t very good. Wouldn’t be my first choice of wineries in the area.

Anthony Calacino

Fantastic place for tasting local wines. The food is great too! Evening tapas on Friday nights here are fun, relaxing and lively.

While the venue is nice but the owners are impossible to deal with, make sure you get everything they say in writing because they will go back on everything they say. They were rude to guests nickel and dimed us to death and had unreasonable expectations about clean up after charging an exorbitant amount for the event.

Very friendly and enjoyable.... and delicious wine.

Favorite winery in CO! They don't make a bad wine! Stay for a glass after tasting, and get charcuterie plate!!! So good... Update: Have been coming to wine country here in Palisade for six straight years to many of the wineries, Maison is definitely my favorite! Other wineries have their draw...the view, the patio, the wine, the food, the vibe, or the winemaker and staff. Maison has it all! The wine is top-notch, the owner is embedded into the community, the staff is cheerful, the patio, view and vibe is so good that there are weddings there, constantly. Charcuterie boards are epic and a good way to sober up from wine country travels! Come here, its a no-brainer.

Had our wedding there Sept 26th,2015 , such a wonderful venue and amazing catering and staff! ! The owner John is wonderful and accommodates pretty much any request. The wine is amazing and his cooking is equally inpressive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Try the barbera. The charcuterie puts this spot above other vineyards in Palisade.

Amazing wine, food, and service. We came to wine taste on a Saturday afternoon and sat in the beautiful patio. We then came back for Sunday brunch and had an equally great experience.

Erica Azad

Gorgeous, great wine. 3 free tastings, and $1 per tasting after that. Fee is waived if you buy a bottle. Great peach Bellini slushee. Known for their reds.

I got married at this beautiful venue two months ago and it was everything we hoped for and more. The owners are truly amazing people. They were helpful, accommodating and extremely friendly. The venue was well kept and they seem to add something new every year to make the property look better than before. It's worth every penny of your money. I highly recommend! This winery also has an AMAZING french themed brunch, great wine and a fun, friendly wine bar staff. If you haven't been here before for a glass of wine, definitely do so. It won't disappoint.

Great place to visit! They have friendly, informative and helpful staff.

I can believe what people can say when we ask them to clean up after themselves, we ask them to clean their mess, not to make it shinny again. Its stated in the contract when we don't do the catering ourselves and they ignore it. I ask them to not leave the place trashed thats all, there is a minimum of respect. In 7 years of business I have charged up to $100 maybe twice , I usually end up doing the cleaning even though its in the contract just to keep customers happy. I am sorry Carl from the previous review felt this way .

We rememberd this place from accidentally stumbling on it at the end of last year's trip. It officially our favorite winery in Grand Junction area. The pairing dinner tonight was spot on. Even with the unexpected rain-out, they nailed it. The food was good, the wines excellent, and the staff as friendly as you could ask for. 5 Stars and plans to come back next year.

Beautiful setting ruined by an absolutely poor & humiliating experience. I was encouraged by reviews I'd read and instantly enticed by a wonderful aroma as I walked through the doorway and looked forward to some food with a glass of wine after a brief tasting to decide on bottles to take back home. Being a Saturday on a holiday weekend I expected a possible crowd and was prepared to wait through the large group ahead of us. At least half a dozen staff moved around my boyfriend and I as we explored the small tasting area. Yet we were never greeted, addressed or asked if we would like anything. After waiting twenty minutes as though we were invisible we approached the tasting bar where five folks had just departed and were then ignored by everyone behind the bar for nearly ten minutes more. At this point after thirty minutes I felt incredibly unwelcome and becoming sad & angry. As I perused the wine menu I finally decided I wasn't going to spend my money where I clearly was not wanted. As we turned to walk back to my car to leave it occurred to us that my boyfriend was the tallest man in the room at over 6'7" and I was the only person/woman of color I saw in the place that it seemed unlikely that we would be easily missed. I came to this place smiling, enjoying a lovely summer day with high hopes and looking forward to a romantic light lunch & wine with my sweetheart on our vacation but left feeling disappointed and disrespected. My soul was saddened for hours afterwards and based on the way we were completely disregarded by the entire staff, I suspect no one at Maison La Belle Vie cares.

Came here with a group of 12 for Sunday brunch and it was delicious!!! The menu wasn’t huge but it was well done. The Turkey Brie Croissant was super tasty. The patio is was charming and Scott took great care of us. We will be back next time we are on the Western Slope!

Laura Marquez

BEAUTIFUL!!!! This place is magical, every wine we sampled tasted amazing! I highly recommend this place!

Peter Hoppe

The tasting room is a bit small, but the grounds and outdoor seating are beautiful! And their red wines are awesome! Loved their Vin de Noix!!

Big fan of the Merlots. Their peach wine is also a great dessert wine! The women running our tasting was so fun and personable.

carl yakabowskas

Very friendly, knowledgeable lady at the tasting bar. Wines are excellent.

This in the past has been my favorite winery, however on Mother’s Day we were refused service bc we did not have a reservation. I did my research and looked at their website a few days before coming and there was NOTHING posted about making reservations today. They staff was rude and didn’t even acknowledge us after we said we didn’t have a reservation. It will be awhile before I come back here.

Debbie Finnie

We love this place, and make it a point to stop here every time we come to Palisade. The service is great, the wines are amazing, and the food is to die for. A memorable way too spend an afternoon.

Marsha Mont

Beautiful location and setting. Nice wine selection and the platter was delicious.

This is the one place you must go to if you love red wine and you insist on the 'good' stuff. Try their classic 'Red Wine' and their Syrah are superb, full bodied, rich, incredible, delicious wines that make you want more and more. You can't go wrong and their atmosphere is perrrrrfect. My wife and I will be back again and again! This is the best stop we made on our tour of the Grand Junction and Palisade wineries.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. We always say that we will be in and out quick and wind up spending at least an hour.

Great little place hidden off of G Rd. Follow the signs to get there. There free tastings then $5 for more, unless you but a bottle. Athena was awesome.

MIchelle Linquist

We were there on Tuesday great wines, beautiful location.

Matthew Owen

Great winery, very knowledgeable staff.

Valerie Bowie

I went to 7 wineries during my stay in Palisade. This was my absolute favorite. Unlike some of the other wineries, they were not overly sweet or harsh tasting. In addition, the individual serving us was very knowledgeable about the wine and gave a description for each one. He was super busy but didn’t take it out on us. The ambience of this winery increased my enjoyment of the tasting.

Kimberly Hall

Lovely vineyard, great out door patio area, reminiscent of an old farm in Florence. Friendly staff, delicious wines and cheese platter. One of my favorites of the weekend.

Sharon Sigrist

Our daughter was married at Amy's Court Yard in June of 2014. The grounds are beautifully maintained, flowers everywhere with butterfly's floating around the gazebo. With the barn & tent we were prepared if the weather turned bad (it did not). It is a comfortable, cozy, peaceful venue. John was very easy to work with & we felt as though he bent over backwards to make sure the venue was perfect for us. Not to mention the wine is excellent. Thank you John

Pamela Cherry

Delicious reds and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Rolf Bremer

These are by far the best wines in the Grand Junction area. Full body reds, French wine techniques, yet with ripe, California style grapes. The Rose' is full body, likely a blend, delicious. Came back just to have lunch here, charcuterie with wine. Time well spent. Kitchen has a French attitude, you can't have it your way. You'll like the wines.

tricia Lawler

Terry Bradley

Best wine in Palisade made in the French tradition. Wonderful shaded courtyard for enjoying a glass (or bottle) as well as fresh baguettes, cheese, and charcuterie.

The winery uses a minimalist philosophy in farming and making the wines. The staff was very friendly and the wines good.

Great place for wine tasting. They offer different cheese platters which make it a nice and relaxing experience. This was by far our favorite stop on our wine country adventure.
