Great streamside setting, decent wine, wasps and expensive bread.
Wonderful outside dining along the creek. Had an amazing French Dip and Black & Blue sandwich. The service was amazing! Ask for MARIA she is amazing, such a great first time going back again!
Delicious and pleasant experience. The wine is fantastic and the antipasto board is phenomenal.
I have been coming here since 2012. I think it is one of the closest places to heaven there could be! The food is very good, the wine is fantastic, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is beyond charming. The staff goes above and beyond with out being overly intrusive. They are very laid back and that only inspires me to relax! Michelle the winemaker truly has a gift and I’m so grateful she shares it with us. I never get headaches from their wine! The food is unique with out being pretentious. It’s such a gem!
Really great wine, really great food, impeccable service, and there is no way to beat being on the Creek. Evergreen of courses a complete joy, and having this lovely establishment so easy to get to and so delightful is just true magic. Love love love Creekside.
What a great experience.Had the Cabernet and sausage panini. DELICIOUS! They had live music. Enjoyed every moment. Staff was great.
Excellent food, great service and atmosphere-year after year. Bravissmo!
Great wines, great food
Excellent selection of wines, the tasting drew us in and we stayed for a meal. Nice lunch menu and good service. A little slow on the food prep but it was worth the wait, especially with a nice red to pass the time. Dog friendly patio up front was nice and cozy. The back side has a patio overlooking the creek.
Sit outside, by the creek and enjoy a glass of wine with your lunch!
Wow! Im a limo driver and my clients went here for lunch. I had to use the bathroom so I asked the head of the winery if I could she said yes and then offered me a sandwich and side on the house. The food was absolutely incredible and I love the hospitality that was shown to me in such a short period of time! Thank you!
Did a wine tasting but sadly didn't like any of them. The person pouring for our tasting wasn't knowledgable of any of the wines. The dining outside looked like a nice setting.
Went for the first time yesterday. The food and wine were awesome. We would definitely go again. Sat creek side and had a bit of rain, but nothing that kept us from enjoying our meal, it's Colorado after all!
Stopped here for lunch on a busy Sunday. Nice buzz about the place, friendly staff. Great choice of salads and sandwiches - generous portions and good value. Ham and Brie sandwich was amazing ! Can’t vouch for the wine as I was driving!!
Amazing little winery in a fun little town! Very impressed with the wine and loved the cheese board. Service was great!
I visited this winery on a bachelorette party with 13 other girls. They accommodated our group wonderfully. We enjoyed a wine tasting and appetizers, and it made for the perfect afternoon. The Antipasto Platter and Cheese Board were phenomenal, and there wasn't a single wine that we tasted that we didn't like. The rose was definitely a favorite. The entire staff was very welcoming, we were helped by Michelle, Jackson & Annie.... thank you for a fantastic visit! We hope to come back on our next visit to Colorado!
Nice place, good food and service. Very popular. Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated at lunch.
Been coming here for years. It’s the best in town.
Fantastic food and caring staff. What great flavors!
They served the best breakfast I've probably ever had. They were very busy before I even arrived, and someone still answered the phone almost immediately when I called. When we arrived, they were packed but we were seated immediately. All the waitresses were being so attentive to each table they had. Our waiter in particular was very kind and accommodating, making great recommendations and he was very attentive to everyone despite having multiple tables with groups of people. Everything about this place is great and I'm willing to make the 2 and a half hour drive from Denver just to eat here again.
Wine is amazing and all of the food is fresh and delicious. The focaccia bread and oil is amazing.
Loved this place! Good staff, good food, good wine!
Had a large table all to myself. Was treated graciously here and enjoyed a glass of their Riesling very much. Bright and delicious wine, grapes grown in Colorado. Food looks delicious and will explore their menu in the near future.
Walked in yesterday to a sign that says, "Please wait to be seated." Waited to be seated for about 3 minutes. The staff just continued to walk by and not say a word. I finally got someone's attention and asked to sit outside. She said they didn't have any tables available and could seat us inside. Not one minute after we sat down inside did a table outside get up. I asked if we could switch tables and the host (I think) said that was fine. Once moved outside, we waited about 10 minutes for our server. She wasn't super friendly or helpful. In fact, non of the staff was super friendly or helpful. Pretty disappointing. The view was gorgeous which is about the only good thing I can say about this place.
Can get a table by the crickets absolutely a fabulous place to spend an afternoon great topis great cheese boards great wine
I found you on the Internet and you had good reviews. I wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday and asked if you could help me with it. We had a great time and great food. Thanks!!!
Absolutely fantastic. Best French dip that I've had in the states. Wine is amazing as well.
Tasty food (I had the Black and Blue - yum), delightful wine, music, and service. I'll be back soon!
Nice cafe, with locally made wines. Enjoyed the Voigner.
Favorite stop after a hike! Lunch and wine on the Creek.... doesn't get much better!!
We had an awful experience here! Everyone on staff was friendly EXCEPT our server. She barely smiled and made us wait way too long on our wine. We only ordered one glass of wine each and dessert. The food came out very quickly, but the server treated us like we were children. It took 15 minutes to get our tab and when we finally did, she would not split it for us so we had our payments waiting. Instead of taking care of our check she went to the bathroom right next to us. So instead of giving her a very reasonable tip for our lack of service, we chose not to wait and left the cash we had.
Great lunch today...thank you!
Enjoyed the Red Flight and 3 cheese Fromaggio platter outside on the patio. They warned of the yellow jackets flying around...and this was very true. Server was delightful but wish she had been able to share a little bit about each wine with us. Just had to gather what we could from their written material.
LOVED An Evening with Mark Twain. Dinner was absolutely superb. A truly lovely experience. Hope you'll offer dinner/shows more often.
Wonderful food and staff
Very classy environment. Wonderful food with nice small sharing options. Next time I would make reservations to be able to sit out on the porch overlooking the creek.
I live in Denver and travel to Creekside Cellars because it is so outstanding. The service, the wine, the food, and the view all deserve 5stars.
Great spot, right on the river. Bruschetta and wine were great
Amazing little spot on a creek side with even better wine, courteous staff, and great wine (in case I didn’t say that before).
We probably get to eat at Creekside about once a month and I am always a fan of their food and the European feel of the cafe. Sit outside if weather permits and enjoy the creek (why do you think they call it creekside?) Wonderful place for lunch, dinner, wine.
Fantastic wine, food, ambiance, outdoor seating and service! Our server Maria was so kind, attentive and knew the menu very well. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
the food was great
Good service & wonderful wine.
Great little restaurant in evergreen with a wonderful selection of wines!
This place is amazing, food is incredible the service and staff are super friendly.. the owners however are God’s gift. We had a car situation and they went out of their way to help us figure out what we needed even offered us a ride. This is the definition of small town hospitality. Def must go to this place, you won’t regret it
We’ve been several times. The food is excellent. This is a great place to go to the mountains near Denver and get excellent food. Latest visit was with guests from out of town. Amazing to sit outside. All sandwiches are huge portions - same with entree salads. Awesome GF bread. Good wine
Food amazing!!! Wine wasn't impressed or by the service. Ordered the dessert flight samples, which was not impressive at all wasn't dessert wine and then to have a staff member Tell Us the wines were sweet ( which were not) was shocking.
Great atmosphere, wonderful food and tasty wine! Definitely get a spot on the patio in the back of the restaurant!
Great wine and even better food. Stopped in for a tasting and bite after a hike and it was wonderful.
Great Atmosphere, Great Food, Great Wine & Great Service. Very personal touch from servers, hostess and even owner who was present and attentive. Best restaurant in Evergreen
Awful service and treatment from staff over labor day weekend. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's one thing to be busy, which they weren't when we were visiting and it's another thing when all staff is completely rude.
Great wine and food, great service. Nice casual ambiance. Wine maker does a fantastic job and is very friendly.
Fantastic Italian food and very good wines. Evergreen, Colorado is only short drive from the Denver metropolitan area.
Great food and wine!
Really good food and service. The wine was great!
Quite possibly my favorite place to take my guests who come to visit me in Denver. Quaint, impeccable service, great wines, insane cheese boards. I love it here.
Food excellent, special ravioli partner had great Greek salad, desert outstanding chocolate pate (gluten free rich cake with Marion berry sauce) highly recommend. Merlot a good choice
Outstanding food (huge portions), live guitar (totally relaxing) and met the very nicest people! Till we meet again Mary & Glen!!!
The wine, the Mediterranean cuisine, and the porch over looking Bear Creek sets the stage for a magnificent lunch.
While the poor server seemed a bit flustered at the end of the day, I was able to have a quick post-hike drink and snack before my drive home. I’m not an aficionado in any way, so I figured the slightly funky taste of my wine was just a characteristic of it. Turns out the bottle got sealed improperly- and the only reason I know this is because the owner came out, scooped up my glass and said something to the effect of, “I’ll be back with a better pour!”- and he came back with a full glass and WOW did it make a difference. Thanks for taking the time to do the right thing at 4:55pm, literally 5 minutes before closing. The bread app I got was also ridiculously delicious, and Marcy my dog was welcomed on the front patio without hesitation. Thanks, y’all!
Stopped here for lunch and a glass of wine. Ordered the tart cherry apple salad and a white wine spritzer and everything was delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and the envirorment has a nice mountain ambiance. Highly recommend
After a long hike near Evergreen, this was the perfect pit stop on the way home back to Denver. First of all, we had the best paninis (there was even a gluten-free option with amazing house-made bread). Second of all, we were able to sit on the front patio with our dog and still hear the lovely live music instead. To top it off, the wine was delicious. I'd definitely stop by here again...and maybe stay in town so I could enjoy more than a half glass and try some of their other varieties.
I had gone here before and had a decent experience. Today my family and I were planning to go for my birthday and I had been looking forward to it for weeks. However, when I called in to ask if I could make a reservation or put my name on a wait list the woman on the phone didnt even bother to say hello. She said she wouldnt accept a reservation but that she would take my name down on a wait list... and then hung up on me before bothering to ask my name. I called back to give my name and a different woman answered. I said how excited I was to spend my birthday there and the woman didnt even bother responding. I told her about my previous phone call. She did not apologize for the behavior of the previous employee and asserted that there was no list and that I had misunderstood (I did not). Both of them sounded unenthusiastic and frankly annoyed that I had called. They may have decent service when you're standing in front of them ready to empty your wallet, but their friendly disposition is clearly a farce. It was very rude and I doubt I'll go here again. I've made plenty of reservations for special occasions and typically the staff is friendly and accommodating. Their indifference towards my excitement and the sheer rudeness of hanging up on a customer should be enough to deter you from this establishment.
Excellent wine and excellent food served by attentive staff. Kudos to vintner Michelle!
What a beautiful day in Evergreen. The wine is always good, the food expertly prepared, the professional, well trained staff makes it a great experience.
This is one of the highlights of a visit to Evergreen. We love the food and wine. We have been going here since 2006. We often go for a hike in the area and then go to Creekside for appetizers or lunch and always the wine.. Bill the owner and wine producer is great!
I am only giving a three star because I called ahead to make a reservation for a special lunch get together and the girl said it was not necessary. I explained I wanted to sit on the terrace but she said it won't be a problem because the kids would be back in school. But when we arrived on a Wed they said it was an hour and a half wait for the terrace and the man out front that met us was rather rude and short when I told him I had tried to make a reservation. I did not find the staff very friendly at all...I asked to have the cheese board explained and the waitress flipped the menu open to something and shoved it at me. However the wine was quite good and so was the food. Disappointed in the seating and the staff.
Bad service. Rude
We love this place. Everything is yummy, the staff is outstanding, the view is incredible, and the live music is mesmerizing. Totally worth the trip!
