Had an Awesome time at the winery--and marcel is great. It's a very laid back atmosphere. Marcel and his wife were chefs before opening this winery which makes all the difference when learning about paring wine with food. AND the dessert wine! Mocha zinsation is the best dessert wine my wife and I have ever shared. Would love to go back and visit. Thanks Marcel!

Went up to see the fall colors and ran into this gem of a place. 5+ stars! Amazing wine selection. Best food I’ve had in a very long time. Atmosphere and live music was great! Highly highly recommend this place.

I don't hand out 5*s often, but this place was certainly deserving! Michelle did a wonderful job explaining the wines for our experience. All of the wines are made in house, and a couple of the grapes for wines are grown right here in the Palisades CO. The Riesling and the Cab Franc, which was my favorite! They have a great selection of food and rotating specials. The view on the river is beautiful, you can sit on the patio, or inside, and they have live music too. We ordered the fondue, which was phenomenal! The owner, Marcel came out to make sure everything turned out good. The cheese is an old family recipe. We will definitely return and would recommend this place anytime! Live, love, local!

Had a great time here. Great local bands in the summer and simple food options. The wine is pretty good and for the price it’s a great deal. I brought my parents here when they were in town and they loved it. Can’t wait for the weather to warm up to have the outdoor stage and seating back again!

This was our second visit in the new location, or third trying their wines. They have a medium-sized tasting room with tall tables plus a great patio with picnic tables. We chose the patio. You order your 6 tastes, and they bring it out on a paddle. They also bring out water and check up on you fairly regularly. Their wines range from a pinot grigio and off-dry Riesling, to dry reds, to a semi-sweet rose and a port-style dessert wine. Our favorites were the Riesling and cabernet sauvignon (they also had a cab franc). My brother preferred the strawberry rose. They have several benches by the river. Great place to enjoy a glass of wine on a beautiful afternoon. They have a menu with some tasty-looking options. We'll be sure to show up hungry next time. Definitely worth the stop.

Loved it here. Live band, mix of great music. Indoor & patio seating, music drowned out 285 noise. Enjoyed the wines and food. Had a wine tasting of both whites & reds, all were good; purchased a bottle of Pomegranate Rouge for our dessert on camp trip. Helpful & very friendly staff. Definitely hope to come revisit & highly recommend!

Very charming and unexpected place (from the road you can't see how nice their patio and riverside set up is). The whites were very good. The Riesling was the right amount of sweetness with a sharp finish that really rounded it off. Reds were very mellow and easy drinking. Great place to stop for a lunch, wine and hanging out by the river.

Overall it was a very enjoyable day! I went up with with the guide leading the most "aggressive" hike and felt that the lead had some sort of power trip going in. We didn't like his attitude so we decided to go with the "medium" group on the way back down and that was much mor enjoyable. The food was really good, the experiance with the wine tasting and pairing was a lot of fun. The fondue was really good and they were not stingy with it at all. The live music was lots of fun and it was a beautiful day.

Driving through Bailey, we saw the sign for wine tasting so we stopped and turned back. The place is small and charming and the owner was very gracious. We really liked the sauvignon and reisling. We also got a bottle of the strawberry rose (definitely a porch pounder!). Wine was tasty and the creekside location was pretty. I recommend stopping here!

My wife and I fell in love with this fantastic little gem and had intended to become regulars. We're heart broken that it was leveled by an out of control semi (9/13/2016). We sincerely hope they rebuild. It makes the two bottles we still have in the rack that much more special.

My wife and I stopped here on our way through to the Salida for the Arkansas River Bluegrass Festival. Good wine, decent prices and great place right along the river. Staff could use a little more training but it's all good. Left with a couple bottles of wine.

We bought tickets to the snowshoe and foundue and we had a blast. The guides and staff were super nice and funny. They even accommodated my vegan diet during the event with delicious alternatives! The wine is great and the food was spectacular. We loved the band and they gave us instruments to play during their set, which we enjoyed and hopefully didn't ruin their show. We will definitely be back. Their dessert mocha wine was a perfect end our experience. So fun!

My best friend brought me for snowshoe and fondue for my birthday. We had an amazing time! The guides, winery staff, owners, and band were so friendly, welcoming, and fun. The wine and food were both fantastic and they kindly offered to adjust the dishes to fit dietary needs. A great day, highly recommended!
