Amazing food and service, be prepared for the price. Really, it’s the only reason I can’t give 5 stars. Farm to table vegetables were so tasty and excellently prepared. I have never had charred artichokes like that, but my taste buds were blown away. For dessert we elected to have the popcorn ice cream, which we were told only comes out when someone is celebrating something, which we were. I don’t know how it’s made, and I never thought the idea of popcorn ice cream would sound good, but again, blew my taste buds away. The green bean casserole is better than any I’ve ever tasted. Very rich flavors, all worth trying. The service was also on par for the price, so it was excellent. I’ll definitely go back again, but only on special occasions due to the price.

I was part of a large business dinner recently that was held here on a Sunday evening. We had a group of close to 30 people, so we were given a private dining room on the top floor. We had a private bar, and a balcony to enjoy. The service was excellent, and the food was wonderful

This restaurant is one of my favorite in all of orange county when it comes to service, quality, atmosphere and the servers! last time I visited I tried the lamb chops, lobster mac & cheese, the seasonal calamari, and Milky Way dessert. Every single plate was worth it and was our eyes and my stomach Our server that night was Christine who didn't amazing job and was not it annoying like other servers I have a had at this location. She knew how to read us... When to talk to us and when to give us space. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone when I comes to business, dates or showing someone amazing and memorable time This place gets five stars from me!

The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. The restaurant has a nice dim light ambience, great for romantic dinners yet there are other seating sections as well with warm light for regular occasions. The food presentation was very elegant with robust color and flavor and the portions were not to disappoint . The salmon was crisp and very light, filled with amazing flavor. Their filet was also exceptionally prepared and bound by rings of sauce, not that it needed any but sets their steak apart from other steak houses. Sides were adequate and tasted great. Overall a wonderful experience which left me wanting to explore the menu more on subsequent visits to come.

Amazing experience. They are so professional and caring. Very clear in their communication and respond quickly to any inquiries. The broth is fantastic, you can tell it's made with love. I get a subscription for my mom and it's really improved her health and wellbeing. I can't thank baby broth enough. Okay, so we were there for a private party and I'm sure that they were on their game. But, oh my, was the food outstanding. The Chilean Sea Bass was beyond words. All in our party shared a wide variety of appetizers and entrees. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was phenomenal.

This place was excellent. Service was excellent. We had reservations and as we walked in they took us to our table right away. I've had reservations elsewhere and I've always had to wait a few for our table. Like I said service was Our waiter was very attentative. Food was excellent as well. We ordered the baked artichokes as appetizer and also ordered soup and the wedge salad. As for the main course, we had the salmon and petite filet. As for sides the cream corn and beans/mushrooms. As for dessert, the creme brulee. All was delicious and excellent. Presentation of the food was amazing. This restaurant is an excellent place for romantic dinners as well. The lighting puts the mood for romance. Overall this place deserves 5 stars. We will definitely come here again and this time for their steaks!!

Any bad reviews here are ridiculous. Go in here, act respectfully, and you will have a great time. The steaks are the best. The waitresses are extremely attentive and respectful. What more could you want? We went for the restaurant, not as drinkers.

First off, my Wife and I have been here quite a bit over the past few years and have spent a lot of money here. If it weren't for the rude DJ that cares more about taking pictures of the girls (creepy) and playing the opposite of what people request, then this place may get a few more stars. I didn't even mind paying for the over priced drinks and tiny pour shots...heck, even the dance floor nazi security can be put up with, but isn't hearing the music that gets the dance floor packed what it's all about at a "Country Night Club"...? As the night goes on, the place thins out fast and I believe the music has much to do with it. Seriously, make the extra drive to Montana's...great DJ, affordable drinks, fun atmosphere and people don't leave as the night goes on.

First time here .. atmosphere is pleasant but a little noisy but still allows for intimacy..seating is good. The food is excellent and filling! Had the Seabass and it was very light but perfectly cooked. The steaks are amazing! Our server was very knowledgeable about menu items and checked often on us. I would probably make the tables a little bigger but it works. Reservations are a must! Pricey but worth it. Would definitely eat here again.

I give THE RANCH Restaurant located at 1025 E Ball Rd #101A, Anaheim, CA 92805 THREE STARS. I did not get a "welcome to the RANCH" or whatever it is that must be said as guests walk in and the same happened 2 hours later when leaving the Ranch. No "thank you for visiting" i've been to many fine dining restaurants throughout the U.S and acknowledging guests is very important. Quality experience, top to bottom. We went to celebrate our anniversary and every staff member wished us a happy one, which really made it feel like a special evening. They even gave us a free dessert with a "happy anniversary" chocolate on it which was cute. But beyond a warm and cozy feeling (helped by the beautiful atmosphere of the actual restaurant), the food also gave us that feeling. It's comfort food at its best, with unique twists and fresh flavors. The servings are generous (we didn't leave hungry like you sometimes do at other "upscale" places) and I liked that everything is sustainable/responsibly sourced. It was hands-down the best meal we've had in a long time... I had the lamb chops and literally said out loud that they made me want to cry tears of joy. Seriously. Everything we ordered, from the wine to dessert, were spectacular. We'd definitely return for our next special dinner out!

My wife and I went to The Ranch for our 27th wedding anniversary and I was extremely disappointed in the prime rib that I ordered. As always I ordered it medium rare and it came rare. I even asked our beautiful waitress if she put down rare instead of medium rare. She said no and even told me it was really rare. I sent it back and it still wasn't cooked enough. This was our first time there and probably our last. Except for the poor quality on the prime rib, everything else was outstanding. Someone from the kitchen even came out to check but I was done at that point. New cook or just a bad night?

Amazing restaurant and excellent service. They have a farm where they grow their own vegetables. I recommend the twice baked potato. My wife gets the off menu prime rib every time and it's ruined prime rib for her anywhere else. Decide what you want from the menu, but always listen to the specials, they're usually amazing. Of course all this great food and service comes at a price, but it's definitely worth it. We're only able to visit once a year, but I look forward to it

Looking for something a cut above? You shall find it here! Hungry for steak? A lot of it?!! They'll round up a 58oz Cowboy steak for ya. It's tender, juicy and well seasoned. This place also has one of the most heavenly dishes I've had the pleasure of placing in my mouth: Chilean Sea bass with Jambalaya. A - MA - ZING! Finally, our waiter, Wally, was one of the best! The barkeep, Buckets, was totally on point!

Had a bad experience with one of the staff members. I was at a company party about 2 weeks ago and me and my friend had got there a little after they served the food. When we sat down waiting for our plates. No one served us. So then we ask one of the waiters for our food. Then tells us they served everyone already and that they were going to clear the tables. I told him thst we just got here and other people were still eating. He told me that downstsdow they will be serving sliders in a bit. So then we go downstairs and they didn't have anything. I asked a server downstairs if they had any sliders and they said they weren't gonna serve anyone for 2 hours. We were starving and upset.

Wow is all I can say about the steaks here. We've been here several times and have never had a bad meal. Serving size is huge and you can cut the meat with your fork! It is so flavorful,even my husband who eats his beef cooked beyond belief(no sign of juice or color) loved the flavor! Servers are always great and knowledgeable about what's great on the menu. We sat in the saloon for the first time after we ate for some music and an after dinner drink and it was loud but fun.

Yes, it's expensive. But the food is excellent, worth the cost. We had the pork chop and the prime rib, with onion soup, a great soup of the day, and sides of creamed spinach and lobster mac and cheese. All were absolutely delicious! Dessert was a peanut butter and jelly concoction, and a trio of ice cream flavors (both our server's suggestion), and they were exquisite! Speaking of servers, Aaron was our's. He was personable, attentive, and fun! He explained the menu (sinceit was our first time there) and all the specials. His suggestions helped make our meal memorable. Thank you Aaron! The other waitstaff were equally attentive ~ filling water glasses, removing plates, asking if we needed everything. Overall, it was a delicious, enjoyable, fun, and memorable night!

There was nothing really that was exciting about this restaurant, except the price tag. The service was ok ... nothing exceptional. Our waiter seemed almost bored and I had to ask for the specials, he was not outgoing at all. He did pay attention to details but was not really sociable. The food was okay. The BBQ beef ribs were not worth a second try. Very earthy tasty not much flavor. The beef was very tender but there was no flavor (we are from the south though, so we are quite spoiled when it comes to BBQ) The lobster mac and cheese was clumpy and had flavor but nothing compared to other restaurants that provide you with actual lobster in the mac and cheese and lots of creamy sauce. The spinach asparagus was hardly edible and the cream corn was not creamy or tasty at all :( It is the first time that I have ever seen my friend not eat ALL of the cream corn! The beet salad and the onion soup were superb! The best part of the meal and the Sea Bass was exceptional and loaded with nice soft complimentary flavors. With all of the other amazing restaurants in town, this is not one that I would return to.

For my entree I got the Prime Rib Special and that came with White Cheddar Scalloped Potatoes that were just amazing. The Prime Rib was absolutely THE BEST Prime Rib that I have ever had. It was cooked to perfection and when paired with their horseradish sauce...it was just perfect.

The outside and the surrounding area do not do the inside justice. I bought the rib eye and it was delicious, a bit more fat than I prefer, but that's just preference. The lobster mac and cheese is amazing i wish it was a main dish, as i wanted more. The candied bacon whiskey is good as well. The bacon was some of the best i had, the whiskey itself tasted like jack Daniel's, so if you like it, like I did then you will be fine. Do expect to spend some money here

Enjoyed the first visit so much came back for another! Definitely one of the best Steak Houses in Orange County if not the best! On a previous visit I came to enjoy The Cowboy Ribeye ; this time around I selected the 40 oz Aspen Ridge Prime 28 Day Dry-Aged Bone-In New York Delmonico - delicious! I will say I am still partial to The Cowboy for the tenderness! For a solid opener the Kale Salad was delicious - you won't go wrong with selecting this as shareable appetizer! Tip: If possible, try to avoid being seated in the bar area for a romantic dinner (unless you prefer) as it is very intrusive as others unintentional having drinks and socializing can be very loud. Love the Ranch! Food is outstanding. Love the grilled Artichoke for starter. Fantastic main dish. The best and biggest porkchop I have ever seen. Dessert is off the charts. Popcorn flavored icecream OMG! Service is top of the line. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable!

The Ranch had great atmosphere. I came in alone and ate at the bar. I ordered the spareribs. They were as tender as can be. But they were kind of bitter. I don't know why. The deviled eggs were just, deviled eggs. There was nothing real spectacular about them. I also ordered the creamed corn and it was nice. The best part of the meal was the bread. Oh my!!!! What a treat!! Six different kinds. I tried the jalapeño cornbread roll, and two others. Even though the spareribs were to my liking, I will go again. One review said there is a peppered prime rib off menu, I'll try that next time!!

This classic American steakhouse in an atypical setting is a hidden gem in north Orange County. The dishes are familiar with a gourmet twist. Presentation and service are excellent. On this visit I ordered the prime rib special with scalloped potatoes. The meat was juicy and tender and temperature just as ordered. The potatoes were rich and creamy topped with crispy, aged white cheddar on top. For dessert we had the PB&J bar which transported me back to the childhood staple but in this incarnation was a decadent yet light treat. If you’re in the mood for a great meal in an upscale and warm setting, this is your place. Be prepared to spend an amount that this sort of excellence demands, but it’s worth the price for a special occasion or just a darn good meal!

After a rough week, needed a good dinner with the business partners to recharge. Rated one of the best steaks in OC, The Ranch is definitely worthy of the ranking. Located in a nondescript office tower, it's definitely not a place to come for the view. The decor inside is classy western, with larger than average tables and comfortable seating. The multi-type bread rolls all baked together were tasty; chose the brioche and the jalapeno with some butter. As for drinks, i ordered the Chapman Beer Works Lager, and it was quite good. Business partner got the chipotle margarita, and had to let some ice melt to fully enjoy it, as they prefer more balance than spirit. definitely get your money's worth on the pours here. For a starter, ordered the chopped kale salad, which had a fine mix of flavors with kalamata olives, cheese and the dressing. definitely not just all kale, all the time. Main course ordered the petit filet medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection. Dessert was The Milky Way, a stunning presentation of chocolate, nougat and salted caramel ice cream. fine dining caliber excellent food, priced as such. side bonus, you can wear a hat while you eat.

Went here with a group of seven. Reservations seem to be a "must", as two days before, we were turned away for lack of space. There is a bar inside the restaurant, but if you are counting on getting a seat there, I would think twice, as it was full both times we went, and turnover was not rapid. As far as dining. Well, it was good. One of our steaks for two was excellent (dry aged), while another had a tendon running through which made it a bit tough, too much so for a $130 steak. Sides were fine, salads were very nice. Drinks were well done by experienced bartenders. Don't hesitate to go here for a nice meal. Just don't expect it to be the coup d'etat of all steak dinners.

I always have a great experience here at the Ranch. My glass is always full, the food is perfectly prepared and set in front of me. The staff is friendly and managers even check in on us to make sure that we are having a perfect time. Even if the restaurant is busy, we never feel like we've been forgotten or unattended. Great Service, all the staffs and host was great. Came here to celebrate my Dads 80th Birthday and it was a memorable experience. We had a big group and they took good care of our party of 20. Came right at 5pm so we didn't have to wait for our table, since they open at 5pm. All the food we ordered was amazing. Our host Jesus was a great help on our food selection, he was very knowledgeable of the entire menu. I ordered the cowboy ribeye, and that was huge! Definitely enough to share for two. I loved the tomato salad, that was good. And for dessert, I had the strawberry cheesecake...beautiful & delicious!

I held my birthday celebration at The Ranch this past Saturday and it was one of the best birthdays ever. I hadn't been to The Ranch in a few years and decided to return and have my birthday there. I should have called ahead and asked about how tables worked because I unfortunately did not have a reservation and didn't want the night to be complicated with people coming and going at different times and all that. We arrived when it opened, around 5:30, and upon realization that there were no open tables to grab, we felt terrible we hadn't called ahead. The staff immediately accommodated us despite it being a Saturday night. They pushed bar tables together and it was a perfect location for my party of over 15 to come and go all night. The staff really went above and beyond and made sure my birthday would be great. Our waitress (there may have been 2 at some point and I WISH I had asked for everyone's names!!!) was amazing and made everything so easy for our party and I'm sure that wasn't ideal. 90% of my group had never been to The Ranch and would not find themselves there usually, and they all raved about it for days after of how much fun it was and how great of an experience it was. These non-country loving friends said they would go back in a heartbeat and I am left with memories of one of the best birthdays ever, thanks to The Ranch staff. THANK YOU!

This is without question one of the best in OC that I have experienced. I have eaten a wide variety of the menu items and they were all prepared excellently and were highly gratifying. The service is amazing too. They really know how to take care of a customer. Dining room atmosphere is very nice. I have not been in the bar side, so I cannot speak about that.

The food was amazing! I tried the short beef and it came off with the back of my fork. No knife required. The Cowboy Rib Eye was ordered as well and it was super juicy, and tasty. The potatoes served with it was to die for! They stated warm the whole time we were there. 10/10 would go again!

This restaurant is on the bottom floor of an office building and it is deceivingly large. The food is outstanding but be prepared to pay handsomely. My fish was excellent as were the beef entrees. I didn't care for the escargot but I was in the minority. Wait staff was very pleasant and very good. Would definitely return.

The Ranch is a very nice place. The food is good, our waitress was absolutely fantastic. We had a party of 20 on the saloon side. She was constantly attentive . I was actually shocked how good ahe was. The 4 star rating opposed to a 5 star- it's hard to say. I didn't really like the owner singing on stage. I get it, it's his place- he can do whatever he wants- but to sing about 20 songs was too much. Th he dance lessons were cool, but that lasted a long time. The live entertainment was good, not great, just good. It's a nice place I'm sure I'll go back, everyone was respectful and polite. I liked going here but I didn't love it.

My girlfriend and I decided to try the spot tonight to celebrate her getting a new job, we couldn't have made a better decision! The staff was very friendly and hospitable, they knew all about the menu items and the specialist that they had. The steak that we decided to share tonight was one of the best that we've ever had. Bone in dry pepper rub with a reduced cabernet sauce, creamed spin ch and their daily grilled veggies ( broccoli) were incredible. Our only disappointment was not trying this place sooner.

The ribeye was enough to share for 2. We even had some left overs for the next day. It was seasoned perfectly. I would pass on the lobster mac and cheese the next time. Didnt have any flavor for me. We got a free dessert for the bf's birthday. It was one of dee best creme brulee I've ever had. Will be odering that next time.

This is the best restaurant that I have gone to near Disney. In most cases this would be considered damning with faint praise. But it is actually good. Nice atmosphere, excellent service and a good menu. I had the French onion soup. A little salty, but thick and flavorful. Then I had the pork chop. It was thick and juicy. The bread was also a nice touch. Next to the restaurant is there western style dance club. I didn’t go in, but it had a big crowd and looked fun if you like line dancing and such.

Was here for a family birthday dinner and got seated in a quiet sealed off area in the back. Service was very attentive for our large group size and mix of ages (8 adults and 6 kids). Food was all delicious and great pairings of wine and mixed drinks. Even the steak dish for children was well proportioned. Pictured is the Cowboy Ribeye, which cut up to share between two people. Probably on the fatter side but so delicious

Absolutely fantastic! What a dining experience. From arrival to departure the service was excellent. The staff was always checking on us to make sure everything was going well. And when they found out that one of us had a food allergy they made sure that none of the dishes contained that ingredient (walnuts) and brought something else to substitute for that plate. Split the Cowboy steak and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Had an amazing dinner and with the attentive staff the evening couldn't have been better!!! If you are ever in Anaheim, CA you must put this place on your list to visit.
