We had a fantastic wine tasting experience with Gerrie at San Antonio, but the Italian cuisine was also on point...good times.. I came in here kinda buzzed from a previous tasting so I can't recall all the wines I sampled. Doh! All were tasty but these are the wines that were purchased. 2017 Viognier - Fruity, flowery and fun. 2014 Opaque Malbec - A solid Malbec that had to be shipped home. 2016 Opaque Darkness - This red blend was my favorite. Deep in flavor and ready to paired up with a fat prime rib. (medium rare=) All the Italian dishes were ordered were packed with delish. We started off with pizzas then moved quickly to the pastas. All the pastas were fresh and the sauces savory. The chicken marsala and the lasagna were my favorite. That lasagna was perfectly baked and savory af. If I had to order only dish, (I'd be sad) it would be the lasagna. Gerrie was a phenomenal host throughout our tasting. We learned a ton about Stefano & Maddalena Riboli and she incorporated their history into the numerous wines we tasted. Gerrie also ensured our dishes made it to the table timely which they did because the kitchen was on point. The showroom had tons of wine accessories, gifts, snacks, etc in addition to the the bottles themselves. If you're doing the Paso Robles wine tour thing, you should definitely stop by the San Antonio Winery. It's located in the city so it's be a great first stop of grabbing a full lunch before heading out to the vineyards in the mountains. Cheers!

We stopped by for a quick lunch on a slow Monday (minestrone, potato soup, and a roasted veggie pizza) and ended up really liking our food! For wine we chose the Maddalena Rose (fruity, not particularly memorable) and an excellent Viognier with nice minerality to it. The only minus point would be the freeway noise if you are seated outside. Very pleasant service

I stopped here to hopefully get "good food" to go for a road trip to Arizona; I wasn't going to the winery like most people would do. I was super impressed. The tasting room/Bistro is comfortable, yet elegant. Casual, yet classy. Warm, light wood and lovely decor. Lots of products to browse through. Terrific personable service by enthusiastic customer service employees. Outdoor seating on the patio, and a yummy cheese & cracker sampler to nibble while tasting. The Bistro menu has something for everyone. I got the Pesto Chicken Mushroom Arugala pizza, which was delicious! I will go back again and I highly recommend the place.

The store had such great unique items for sale. Wesley was a great server when the wine tasting started and was a Great conversationalist. He also gave time for our group to mingle amongst ourselves. Great atmosphere and experience.

If you're there for wine tasting, it's all good. But if you're there for the food just know that it's very self-service. This is a place that focuses on wine tasting and not on the food. you order at the counter they bring the food to you but we had to find our own napkins and silverware and nobody came back to check on us and nobody brought the bill we had to go inside and ask for the bill. There was basically no service. This is not a place I would recommend to just go have a nice lunch because it's too self service and the atmosphere is all about wine. They're focusing on the wine-tasting traveler not on the locals.

My friends and I were looking for something new to do, and one of them recommended we go wine tasting. I at first dismissed this idea as I have been to many wine tastings and while fun, not my cup of (tea) wine. But up the coast we drove anyways. We randomly pulled into The San Antonio Winery while driving through Paso and I was very impressed with how nice the place was. Very elegant and clean. Note To Everyone: Free Wine Tasting (up to 3 samples)!!!! Anyways, come to find out, the San Antonio Winery has its original locationin Los Angeles that is 95 years old! The wines were great, I specifically enjoyed the Heritage Blanc and the San Simeon Chardonnay, but everyone else in my group could not get enough "Stella Rosa" I am going to go visit the same winery in LA and next time I am up in Paso I will definately be stopping by here.

Went for lunch. Had a very good thin crust combo pizza. The flavors combined well and the crust was crisp but not hard. Had to take half home as it is a good size for two. I will go back.

This winery is in a beautiful location that is also easy to get to. Everyone that works there is very knowledgable about wine and also very friendly. They have some of the best wine I have ever had in the USA. I would recommend stopping in and having a look around.

Absolutely amazing experience. Came here while on business and it did not disappoint. The service was fantastic and everyone who works there is not only extremely knowledgeable about all of their wines but they seemed to know everything about every wine (even foreign, imported wines). If you are looking for a fantastic venue to impress some clients this place truly is a gem.

Comparing it to the San Antonio in Los Angeles, this place has less selection of wines, more expensive, no craft beer and a more corporate atmosphere.

Cory Cranage

The staff at San Antonio winery is top notch, very friendly and personable. Looking forward to the development of their production facility and new location later 2016.

The warm, welcoming environment makes it so easy to chat and laugh with the down to earth staff. Tasteful surroundings without being pretentious! As for the food, farm to table comes to mind. Sitting outside, drinking sangria, noshing on a spring salad and a sapid, savory steak sandwich...really doesn't get much better! Sigh! Can't wait to get back!

Em Paso Robles, bom local para degustar um bom vinho californiano. Local tranquilo, a beira da rodovia, com bom atendimento e o mais importante, bons rótulos.

Victoria Chirikian

I went here for lunch yesterday and also purchased some wine. My friend told me about it and how good their lunch was. Upon arrival I was impressed with the how friendly and knowledge their staff was! I was greeted promptly and shown into the dining area. The food was delicious! I had the pesto pasta and it was awesome!! After lunch I ventured into the tasting room where I was greeted. I was then shown some different wines and told exactly how they should taste and what they could be used for. I was very impressed! I ended up buy a bottle of their Stella Rosa wine and I LOVE it!! It quickly became my favorite wine!!! If your in downtown LA and are looking for a place to go, whether it be to eat or to shop for good wine, San Antonio Winery will surely Impress!!!
