I've been to reynold's family twice now and each time I fell in love. The first time I brought cookies (they were actually for the tasting liason up the street at another vineyard) but I shared. The people at Reynold's not only remembered this over a year later, but they totally made me feel like family. But you're not reading for my experience, you want to know about the wines. Their selection is unique and fun. I do not like their signature cabs which is weird because I'm obsessed with the cabs from staggs leap. What I do love is persistence which is a proprietary blend they produce. It is a little sweet which I don't like, but the fruit flavors and the bite are intense and stunning. I'm also not a white wine drinker, but they do a wild yeast chardonnay in a concrete egg that is absolutely worth trying. You'll also find late harvest and ice wine styled dessert options from the naughty line. Totally a fun treat if this is your last stop in the day. I fell in love with Reynold's and have replaced orders for cases now...totally worth checking out.

Though I haven't had the pleasure of visiting this winery I have had the most amazing wine from here. We were given a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 which had been stored in a garage. We were hesitant to open it, considering the conditions it had been subjected to, but we're blown away by what we tasted! It was truly marvelous!!! Now the Reynolds Family Winery is on our bucket list of must see places when we return to California.

I have been to Reynolds Family Winery numerous times over the last 8+ years that we've belonged to their wine club. It is one of the best kept "secrets" in the Napa Valley. The winery is quaint and enjoys a scenic location next to their irrigation pond that is often frequented by an assortment of birds. Vineyards surround it. The staff is always friendly, and takes their queues from owners Steve and Suzy who are always warm and engaging. Steve is a master wine maker -- truly one of the elite winemakers in the valley. I am a huge fan of his reds. In blind tastings against some of the truly big, elite wineries' wines in the valley, Reynolds always seem to score very high, if not at the top within my wine group. We blind taste a different varietal each month, and I've entered Steve's wines numerous times in our tastings. I also can't tell you how many times I've taken a bottle of a Reynolds wine to a friend's home when invited to dinner, only to have several people at the table remark about its quality. Since price does matter for most, the Reynolds wines are also very competitively priced when compared against some of the other quality red wines sold in the Napa Valley.

When we arrived in Napa last week Reynolds Family Winery set the tone for our entire trip. We throughly enjoyed our time spent on their property. The shaded back patio created an environment that brought about a feeling of relaxation. The staff was friendly and more than accommodating. The wines were also GREAT. The charcuterie plate was one that paired amazingly with the red wines we tasted. Overall fantastic experience!!

Claim they are appointment only but they let us in anyway. There are no signs to suggest that it is appointment only. Wines are good and staff is friendly.

Awesome experience - even for those of us who aren't wine enthusiasts. Staff was friendly and passionate about winemaking. And on top of that the Cab and Merlot were delicious. Make sure to book in advance as they will only allow a few groups in for tastings at a time. Much more of a 1 on 1 experience than the larger wineries

Got turned away without wine tasting as they don't allow children on their premises. They were nice about it though. So Reynolds Family is not for families. Don't bother visiting if you've got kids.

Enjoyed a lovely tour and tasting. We were a little late due to traffic, but it was totally no big deal. The staff was friendly and the wines were tasty. We bought a bottle of Persistence. All around very nice experience, and a terrific start to a weekend in Napa!

We went to several winery's while in Napa. Some of this big names and anyone who drinks wine will know those names... right. However, the Reynolds Family Winery and the story about the family is one of passion, desire and mostly persistence. I keyed on the word persistence because that is me... and two that is now my favorite wine. Absolutely the best wine I tasted while in Napa... and I feel the value far exceeds the price! I'm no wine expert but I asked Doug a lot of questions and he answered them and was very nice about it. I'm learning and felt like I could ask any question and I would get a straight answer. What an amazing time. Unbelievable experience. We were truely honored to have been there... By the way this was the best wine we had over the three days we spent in Napa! So good by the way we are now in their wine club and we bought a case or two of our favorites. The entire experience there was beyond a 10!!!! Please go and see for yourself how amazing they all are!!! One last thing... Thank You Jimmy Vasser for turning us to this outstanding winery!!!
