We wine taste a lot, been to all the regions, so we looked forward to having a local winery to visit. The tasting room is nicely decorated, bar is kind of small and crowded. Some of the wines are quite decent. The problem is you just don't get enough wine in your glass to really taste them, easily some of the stingiest pours we have ever experienced. I feel you need 2 sips to taste wine, the first to clear the pallet and the second to really taste the vintage, but after the first sip, only a few drops remain. Another couple asked to revisit a wine they liked, but the not very nice server told them it is against the law to serve seconds and refused, a complete lie! The cheese plate is good, but minimal. They do not waive the tasting fee if you buy wine, we feel that the people who came with free tasting coupons were treated better than paying customers. Do yourself a favor, take the 2 hour drive to Santa Ynez and enjoy first class tasting and service. I wish I could offer a nicer review, maybe we just hit it on a bad day, but when compared to other wineries, Reyes needs improvement.

They put on a great wine and food festival! The winery is beautiful, it would be a lovely setting for a wedding or just for you to enjoy a bottle of wine and enjoy the view of the vineyards and mountains.

I love this place - beautiful location, delicious wine and friendly people. Just went to the Sierra Pelona Valley Vintner's Wine Festival this past weekend and it was fantastic - so many delicious wines and food and great entertainment - just a perfect day!
