I love this place. Beautiful facility. Beautiful people that work here. Beautiful family. This is my second visit and they impressed me even more the second time. The tour was wonderful. The air bnb is perfect. The wine delicious. The hayride memorable. They have been an active winery since 1880 and I hope they are here forever.

Merry Smith

Excellent food served by lovely people and a good value.

Nicole Hackler

Enjoyed the tasting! Tio was awesome! She knows her stuff and made good suggestions. The restaurant was wonderful. Food was really good with excellent service.

On the heels of visiting the dump next door that morning, this winery immediately struck my wife and me as a clean, modern, well lighted tasting room and gift shop. There are lots of wine gadgets, wine posters, and even Post Winery clothing. The largest tank top they have, however, is X-Large and it's not a very large X. Pretty much everyone on our senior tour would take a 2X or 3X, just saying'. Oh yeah, and LOTS of wines to choose from, with an impressive selection of muscadine wines. I just wish they had been more friendly. I get that they're from German Swiss ancestry but this *is* Arkansas. Our bus had 40 people and the wine tasting was much too chaotic - they need to devise a plan for such large groups, perhaps half do the tasting while the other half takes the tour and then they switch. Also, if one of the lovely female staff leads the tour, speak loud enough for everyone in the group to hear, and repeat questions before answering.

After visiting another "Winery" with less than stellar customer service, we decided to try Post. We were VERY impressed! We were greeted immediately and the staff was very helpful. The gift shop and facilities were clean, organized and arranged well. We would recommend Post to anyone visiting the area. Spend a couple extra minutes and pass by the other one with the RV park (it wasn't worth the time it took to stop).

Nice winery and good wine.

Stopped at the Post Winery before going to a wedding. We met an amazing wine steward, named Tio, who took us through a thorough tasting of all the wines at the Post. She was knowledgeable, funny, and managed to find our taste bud sweet spots in under 30 minutes despite their massive selection. The wine was good, and the service was superb. Check it out if you're ever in Altus!

We live 3 hours away and got there 10 minutes before close. They stayed open a few minutes late to let us taste some wines. I liked their PORT the best.

Ate lunch and food was amazing. Staff is ALWAYS friendly every time we go. Great gift shop w/ lots of non-wine items too. Well worth the drive. Dessert was spot on - not too much, not too little.

We trekked to Post from Little Rock for a wine tasting bridal shower for my daughter. We had a wonderful, wonderful time! Our hostess/tour guide, Tio, was friendly, fun, and really knew her stuff! I highly encourage a visit!

The best Muscatine juice I ever tasted.

When returning from Oklahoma to Florida I stopped at Post and purchased a bottle of White Muscadine wine. My regret is I did not purchase several. If you like a sweet wine, and I do, this is wonderful. When you taste the wine you can almost feel the grape itself in you mouth. I believe this is the equal of any vineyard anywhere.

We used to love the muskadine wine. But the red muskadine was changed a few years ago. We stopped buying it. We decided to buy only the white & pink. Now the pink has been changed. Ugh! We used to be loyal customers...not anymore.

Kathy French

This was our first-ever wine tasting, and it couldn't have been a better experience. The store is well stocked, well staffed, everyone is warm and hospitable. They let you sample everything. Tio took care of us at the tasting area and helped us find several different wines we like quite alot. We stayed for lunch, which was also very, very good. Lots of fresh local produce. Have the pecan pie/bar if it's available.

Melissa Millar

My favorite winery on our wine tour. All the wines I tried were excellent and I had a hard time choosing which to purchase.

Sue Arthur

Wines were good ambience it was basically a retail store not very quaint, but would return if we are ever in the area. Raspberry wine was fantastic!

Jud Lewis

Decent wine but out of the way and the family was less than welcoming and not at all helpful.

Terry Spencer

The Dubya

Beautiful scenery, very nice place. The staff is professional and have a lot of knowledge of their wine list. Best stop on the wine trail

Byron Deplanche

A great place to stop and try some different wines and be educated thoroughly on the tour as the guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer any question! Also, they did not skimp on the taste testing AT ALL!! You got to try 5 different wines and they poured more in the glass than just a sip, they actually gave you enough to make a decision on whether you'll like that particular wine!!!

My wife loved this place. But I like Bud Light.

We enjoyed tasting many varieties of wine. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Left the store with a few new favorites.

Adam McKee

This is a working, modern bottling operation, so don't expect to be poured a glass from wooden kegs. The staff were very friendly and really knew the retail side of the operation and the characteristics of the finished product. They produce a very wide array of products; almost every palate will be satisfied with something. A unique aspect of this particular winery is the production of very high quality muscadine wines. The staff are very helpful, and tolerate lots of questions from home wine makers. They also sell vines if you want to start your own mini-vineyard at home.

Stopped in for an unplanned visit and had an amazing time. We started by tasting wines. Not being a big wine drinker, I was a bit worried. Instead of a snobby wine experience, I found an incredibly knowledgeable intern working the bar who took time to explain the wines and why they tasted the way they did. She poured things based on how well we liked what she offered, and I didn't taste one single thing I didn't enjoy. I also found new favorites I'll buy when I see them on my shelf here at home. Kudos to a wonderful staff and a great (FREE) experience. Well worth the drive from the interstate. Maybe not as much "theatre" at this winery, but they make up for lack of chalets with great staff and amazing wine.

I didn't go in. I haven't had a drink in 30 years, I'm in AA

Friendly staff, lovely winery, delicious wine

Jodie Henningsen

A great family winery with good wines at reasonable prices. The local muscadine grapes have so many beneficial properties that the wine is almost a health drink. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable allowing us to taste as many wines as we liked. We'd like to thank Joseph for taking the time to give us a tour of the beautiful property that has been in the family for 6 generations. A great experience all round. We were very glad we stopped in.

Michael Frantz

Excellent. Good choice of wines of which are top quality. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Restaurant. Great service and very good food. Enjoyable experience.

Meghan and Greg Hunt

The atmosphere when you walk in is more like walking into a retail store/ Liquor store. Had it not been for this, this definitely would've been given 5 Stars. I am not sure of the young ladies name that took us on the tour, but she was very knowledgeable in how things worked. I wish we would've been able to see it all in action, unfortunately it appears on the weekends that this does not occur. The wine tasting was very good and we left with a few bottles of wine and some excellent grape juice.

Rachel Keller

Absolutely love coming to this family winery! They have a farm to table lunch menu that is to die for! The ladies there are so friendly as well as knowledgeable about the wines! Going there is a must when you come to the Ozark/Altus area!

Greg Christiansen

Great family operation. Best wines to be found anywhere.

Geniave Hunter

Best wine in the area! They took us on a tour and we were able to taste grapes that had just been harvested (Sept)! We got to see the machines that separate the vines from the grapes, the grapes sucked into a machine, stomped?, and poured into a vat that held 4120 gallons of juice! Amazing!

LaRaye Damme

All kinds of unique cute items. Delightful lunch and beautiful surroundings with Hurst Family History.

Faith Cleveland

Lovely place. Wine tasting. Cafe. Gifts.

By far our favorite, great wine and reasonable pricing.

Wonderful tour guide Lee took us through the facility and gave us great information on the family, the winery and the wine. Got to taste a couple right out of the tanks. Plenty of staff on a Saturday to greet everyone and answer questions. The blackberry cobbler was delicious. We plan to go back during the week and learn more about wine and food pairings from Lee.

David Vann

We didn’t eat or tour because it was Sunday. The gift shop staff was very friendly and of course the wine was excellent. The Pink muscadine took me right back to my childhood. Great place!
