We stopped there today on our trip just to get the Big Daddy Tawny Port wine. The best port we have tasted! The staff is friendly and we will stop again.

Mount Bethel is a beautiful winery as well as a thoroughbred horse farm. Their wine making tradition goes back over 100 years.

I want to start off this review by saying that I am not a wine drinker, but I did enjoy tasting the wines. I tasted wines made from grapes, muscadines, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, plums, and elderberries and I liked all of the ones I tasted. I mostly stayed clear of the drier varieties of wines, but they have them also if that's your thing. The friendly lady pouring the wines is a fourth generation wine maker and she told a history of the winery and other local wineries. You can taste all the wines on the list and the prices are very fair with most bottles less than $10.

I love this winery. It is small but like someone said the host was very enjoyable and entertaining. The wine is very good. We go about every year and stock up.

Picturesque Winery, good wine, good service. Nice down to earth people. Large variety of wines.

Dark and damp. Hostess wasn't the friendliest. Wines were too dry and bitter for my taste.

Awesome winery!

I make it a mission to come out here every year to enjoy their wine and the great atmosphere with the story of how they came to be. I pick up a few bottles each time to use in marinating meat. Great place to visit.

Always a very pleasant outing. Very friendly and knowledgeable not only about their wines but the history of this great place. The only difficulty we had, was which wines to purchase. lol

Out of the 3 we visited over the weekend, this was by far the best experience over-all. We truly enjoyed speaking with the family and the wine tasting experience. We were able to come home with a bottle or two as well, it was that good.

Wonderful little winery in a beautiful farm setting. The tasting room is a cellar type decor. They poured a great variety of wines for us and gave us a tour of the facility. Enjoyed the fruit wines and the stories they shared about the difficulties in making the fruit wines.

David Vann

Very nice staff. Liked the wine and left with a bottle of Big Daddy Port.

Britt Hardwick

We were given a quick and effective wine tasting. Had a personable chat with Linda Post.

Ok so I just opened a bottle of Mount Bethel Blackberry medium sweet wine. It took me two days to get this bottle open. The corkscrew I bought came up missing and I'm staying at the Wingate Hotel in Bentonville, Ar. and they don't keep one at the front desk. Shame! Anyway, after going to the store again and purchasing two corkscrews this time just to be safe. I opened it, poured it and took a sip of the most amazing taste. I immediately called my husband who is on a project in Fruitland, Id (another wine country) and proceeded to tell him that I thought I had found our new favorite wine. We truly adore a sweet wine. This Mount Bethel Blackberry medium sweet is not overly sweet and has no bitterness to it all. All I can say is that I hope I enjoy the bottle of Blueberry medium that I also purchased as well as the first. Good Job Mount Bethel. Sincerely Rebecca Knapp
