Amazing experience, upon walking through the door our server greeted us like if we were family. Natalie quickly gave us great suggestions on local wine for our wine flight and even a great Italian sweet red. The beer cheese pretzels were great and the wings had great flavor (a little kick to them but still really good) both great suggestions from our server. Great place to stop in Williams after a day in Grand Canyon. Highly recommend South Rim, and Natalie made the experience complete. Great change from the hustle and bustle that we experience in Florida restaurants.
Amazing place. The food is the best on the strip and the bar is fantastic. The service was perfect and the entire experience was fun. Enjoyed setting on the patio and watching the sunset over the mountains. Got some great pictures too.
Best burger you will find in that part of AZ! Beer, wine, and Mead selection vast enough to quench and satisfy any pallet. And there is a damn fine GTO right next to you while you eat inside!
Amazing service. I haven't seen a waitress work that hard in a while. She was so shorthanded but still managed to keep up. Kudos. Food was pretty good too. TIP WELL PEOPLE!
Excellent food, good atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend as a 'don't miss'
Our dinner at South Rims Wine & Beer Garage was excellent! The food and service were great, not to mention the wonderful local and imported wine options. If you're passing through Williams, do yourself a favor and stop here. And be sure to save room for the chocolate dessert!!!
Worst service i have ever seen. Never enough employees. Will never even go back. Cant tell you how yhe food tastes because i couldnt order food
Good food and great service. Cassidy was awesome and attentive.
The food was delicious and the woman at the bar (I believe her name was Cassidy) was awesome. Everyone was friendly and they took great care of us. Would definitely eat here again if we go to Williams again.
Clean well stocked convenience store
Pretty neat place. Good beer and cool atmosphere. Burger was way undercooked but they replaced it. Wife had the brisket and was amazing. Just tough paying for a $15 burger when it was almost raw meat first time around. If it were my business I would've given a free dinner. Double barrel IPA was great.
Sublime American cuisine, very friendly personel and a very decent price. 5 stars well-deserved.
Pretzel burger with mushrooms nad bacon OMG ...speechless...just perfect
Delicious, waitress was awesome. Out door seating so dogs can sit too. Chef even made our dog some delicious food.
On our walk we found this Restaurant with excellent Food. The service was outstanding and it's always fun to be eating on Route 66 with the GTO Setting in the middle of the restaurant. Nice little bar good selections when it warms up you can Sit outside.
A great place for Dinner! The service was great, the food was amazing and the choices of drinks offered everything you might wanna try. Highly recommendable!
Great food and good service. Loved the car inside the restaurant
I never thought I would say this about any establishment, but their bathroom smells delightful. The food and beer is absolutely amazing, too! Especially the caramel coffee beer and chocolate coffee stout!
South Rims is exceptional. Greg is the owner and puts his heart and soul into the business. This is not a typical business but a personal endeavor to do the best for the customers. Greg and his employees always provide the best service. The beers are diverse and cold. The food is unique and delicious.
Great AZ cheese steak sandwich paired with exceptional local beer! Thank you chief Rick and thank you Nataly for great hospitality! Life is good in Williams.
Brought our family of four, including two children, here for dinner on a weeknight. The food and beer were all delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. My husband and I both had the pretzel burger, which was outstanding. The kids menu is reasonable and had a good variety of the usual options. Portions were generous. They have board games you can play while you wait, though hubby and the kids ended up playing checkers at the end of our meal! We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.
So fun!
Pretty tasty food, try the pretzels with the beer cheese dip! The cauliflower was pretty great too! To die for!!! Nice beer and wine selection.
Really hip place in a touristy area. Good food, and good local craft beer. Service was excellent.
Great local wine selection. Delicious food. We have been here once for dinner and it was open until late evening.
Great food and friendly staff
Fantastic bar, great staff, and the beers were delicious. if you're ever in Williams, try the place out for a beer, they have a ton of local taps, and the staff were great at helping out.
Good food alittle over priced
Great selection of wine & beers. Food is always fresh & delicious. Great ribs, great steaks, great sandwiches, salads and the service is outstanding. Highly recommended place in Williams Arizona. The owner Greg is always making sure everything in his restaurant is perfect and clean.
They had a great selection of draft beers from only Arizona breweries. Their food was delicious and an entree plate ranged from about $15-28. I had the smoked BBQ brisket sandwich along with the Mac and Cheese and thought it was great. The staff was also great. The only downside was that the restaurant inside was just a bit small for how popular it seemed to be.
Spent an great evening with friends, awesome food and craft beers. Highly recommend!
Great food. I don’t know why it wasn’t busier. We had the pretzel burger and the cheese steak sandwich. They were both excellent!
Great food and even better wines! The tasting of 4 wines is a great way to combine your wine with your food. They are all delicious.
Good food, great service (Miranda was our server) and a good variety of beer selections. We had a flight, great pretzel basket, and a lunch entree. I would recommend this as a stop if you want good food, service and beer. They also have wine taps but we didn't sample the wine. Having traveled around the Country and visited many brew pubs, this one ranks right up there.
OK, could have been better for the 80+ dollars. I've become very picky about food, so it might be me.
Food was ok. Appetizers came out almost cold and main entrees took a while even when business slowed down. Food was good which is why 3 stars. Staff was pleasant and the interior was nice.
Absolutely amazing service and awesome food. A must stop in William's for anyone passing through. Highly recommended.
Great place. We had the AZ steak sandwich and the pretzel burger both were great and way enough for a good eater. Also the potato wedges and the starter salad were great. The service was kind and gave good opinions on the menu and especially the beer menu. We tried one beer flight with 4 different beers and two single beers all of them were special and we liked most of them. We never tried sour beers before, the kiwi sour was especially great.
The food was awesome! Especially the pretzels and beer cheese. Friendly service too.
I don't get why this place scores so well. The beer and wine was okay, but not exceptional, service shallow and spotty, and food mediocre at best. I rate it 'meh'.
Great beer and wine list, friendly service and nice menu!
Fantastic food and fantastic staff! Fantastic place!! Thanx a lot from the entire NKT MC from Sweden
Excellent service, excellent food! Greg, the owner, was an absolute delight, all the food exceeded my expectations. Everything arrived in a timely manner, and hot. I will absolutely return to this quaint, warm and welcoming establishment. Can't wait for you to open your steakhouse! Loved the GTO stored in the restaurant.
Service was slow but food was good. Enjoyed the outside games with our kids.
The best experience in Williams the class is the nicest people easy going it's all about the customers and they all appreciate I can really enjoy a great experience at this location
Excellent food. Excellent beer choices and special drink. Loved the butterscotch martini. The sword fish was moist and flavorful. The hamburger on pretzel bun was moist and delicious. And the brisket on pretzel bun sandwich was so yummy. Finger licking good. The creme brûlée was homemade and rich. We ended up ordering two. We found this place because others recommended this place and it was right on the dot.
Really enjoyed the outdoor patio space and the Band, Kristina & Denny were just fabulous and they really topped off a most enjoyable visit, while enjoying spirits.
Tyler was super friendly and on his customer service game! We ordered a 4x4 flight with the Koffee Kolsch, Blueberry Wheat, Coffee Bean Stout, and the Four Peaks Pumpkin Porter - all were amazing! For food, we got the Cream Cheese Potato (homestyle with chunks of potato, AMAZING) and the AZ Cheese Steak (spicier than I thought, but still so tasty). We will absolutely be back, with intentions to try entirely different items! YUUUMMMMMM!
Awful. Our food came out quickly, which explains why the chicken wings were freezer cold in the middle. And while the sauce was decent, the ribs were terrible. And the back patio is beautiful, but they forgot about us. We sat for 45 minutes waiting for the check. I really wanted to like this place.
Food and drinks are fabulous! The staff was so friendly. A must for all Route 66ers and anyone who loves food.
Great service, waitress was friendly and did a great job, food was very good, good beer selection
Amazing place! My husband and I went to the Grand Canyon and wanted to find a place with beer, wine & good food and this place had it all! Greg was great! I had the pretzel burger and my husband had the chicken caprese and we started with the crab cakes! ALL of it was fantastic. If you can, stop by this place for a wonderful experience, you won’t be disappointed!
Great food and great service.
It was awful. Steaks have no seasoning. The grilled "seasoned" veggies had no seasoning and were raw, plus they tasted like dirt. Our waitress was awesome. But the food was disgusting. It's all cooked on a gas grill in the back of the patio.
Such good menu
Excllent service, good beer selection and good vibe!
Fries were COLD.
The food was great but took quite a while to get it. They brought half our parties food out and then about 10 minutes later brought the rest. Pretty pricey also. It was 75.00 before tip for my wife, me and two teenagers to eat. Also was shocked they charge for drink refills( coke).
Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. If your in Williams this place is a must.
Nice choice of beer and wine. Good service, thanks to Miranda. Menu seemed fine and the food was good.
We’ve been here twice and the food and service were great both times! The owner and his wife are incredibly nice and very passionate about their business. Great experience all around!
amazing...all types of beer! Thanks Natt!
Great food. Great service. Thanks.
I have ko idea how this restaurant got such a high rating. Must be from the beer and wine reviews because the food was not very good. My brisket bbq sandwich was so tough I had difficult cutting the meat with a knife. The mac and cheese was Velveeta and pasta. Although it tasted ok, it was uninspiring and bland. My husbands chicken pasta had no flavor. The "sauce" was crushed tomatos with no seasoning at all, dotted with a handful of what looked like plain ricotta or mozzarella cheese. Bland, bland, bland. Perhaps a toddler would have found it tasty. My grandsons burger included the paper that the cheese was wrapped in. My other grandsons french dip looked okay and he seemed to enjoy it. In all, it was a low quality, relatively tasteless $80 meal for 4. I'm not usually so hard on a restaurant, but this experience warrants the harsh review.
The food was absolutely amazing. The staff was very attentive and polite too.
Great food, service, and atmosphere! The owner visited with the customers, too, which was a plus. The food was very flavorful.
Excellent food, don't miss out on the pretzel sticks and beer cheese sauce! Wait staff super attentive and friendly.
Very nice server! My husband loved sampling different beers. Nice little place and dessert was delicious. However, chicken marsala was way too salty, and I love salt.
Great local beers and some good food. We got the pretzel bun burger which was cooked to my liking and very juicy. As well as the cheesesteak which was awesome! Great place to check out when in Williams.
Amazing food and service. Great beer choices.
Great food. Server was attentive. A little pricy but worth it.
Service was great. Great pretzel burgers. Stuffed mushrooms were ok.
My family and I went in at 7pm on a Saturday. We got our drinks, ordered the soup of the day and our food. At 755 one soup was brought to the table. We asked about the other 2 soups and we were greeted with laughs. The waitress returned with 2 cold soups. And said one of your entrees cant be made because we are out of chicken. We left. Do not waste your time reading the good reviews.
They have excellent food. The kitchen is ran very well and the staff is wonderful!
This is a very odd place. Best way to describe it is a tuxedo t shirt. They want to be a nice place, but at the end of the day it misses the mark. Ordered a rare burger, got well done.
Highly recommend stopping at South Rims Wine and Beer Garage anytime you are in the area. Five star customer service; the owner Greg, and all the wait staff are absolutely wonderful. Terrific local beer collection and the food is delicious compared to anything else available in the area. Safe travels to you all.
Delicious beer cheese and pretzels appitizer. Great Pretzel Burger. Service was wonderful. Great little gem in this small town. My son loved the pretzel dog from the kids menu. Be patient Bc smaller staff. Worth the wait if you do end up waiting during peak hours. Everyone around us seemed to enjoy beer and wine selection.
I had the best ribs of my life with a wide variety of tasty beers. The staff is just amazing. They provide the real genuine and enjoyable experience that everyone would love to have when they go to restaurants. Super guys keep up like this and you will be remembered by anyone.
Wow! We miss you South Rims! If you get Greg as your server, you're in for a treat. Don't hesitate to ask him about the history of South Rims. He has a unique, calm demeanor that is matched only by his knowledge and friendly manner. If you happen to hit the Rims on a day when Rick is cooking, you're in for even more of a treat. This classic car garage serves craft beers and wines from around Arizona, and their patio makes for a beautiful sunny afternoon. Top marks, wish I could give them even higher marks!
Gtg. Best place for a quick bite in Williams.
Unique atmosphere. Very tasty food. Smokd BBQ Brisket: A zesty BBQ sauce spread over our mouth watering brisket, topped with a coleslaw on our soft pretzel bun $13.99
Fantastic food, great service, AZ beer and wine, what else can I say.
After a friendly welcome, we were shown to a table and our orders were taken. Drinks were served and we spent the next 45 minutes watching Spain vs Portugal on TV. At half time our starters arrived. The crab cakes were perfectly acceptable. Eventually the main courses were served. The potatoes were lukewarm and the salad was absent. Amid apologies for the service, we were presented with a bill for the drinks and half the food. I recommend 'Cruisers' restaurant nearby.
Very good food, efficient, friendly service. Extensive selection of wines and craft beers. Food prices a bit high.
Best French Dip I ever had accompanied by an outstanding ajus. The beef was extremely tender and the bread was soft inside and crusty outer. The mac & cheese was gooey, cheesy and delicious. All the servers were attentive, courteous and very friendly. This is a must place to eat when in Williams, AZ.
Pretty big section of wine and beer for a small scale place and all local. Because they were out of a cider I wanted to try, I leaned towards a wine flight. As you can see in the picture I posted, big pours!!! So yummy and the food, despite being really hungry, was really tasty minus the cold potato wedges as my side. I had the eggplant portobello mushroom sandwich recommend by Jessie who was working the bar and my boyfriend had the pretzel burger with bacon, mushrooms and onions added which he thoroughly enjoyed. We were encouraged to try the pizzokie, I recommend getting it with the ice cream on the side and no whip cream, unless you're into that. Great atmosphere, busy for mid day pit stop, with older adult population mostly as other patrons. Great friendly staff! Thanks Greg and good luck Zoe and Jessie with your studies! We will be back for sure!
Had to wait longer than originally told for a to go order. But it was worth the wait. Pretzel burger and potato wedges were fantastic. Cheesecake was just ok.
Great service. Food was average but a little pricey.
I can’t say enough great things about this place! I loved the feel, the employees, and the food. The experience exceeded all of our expectations and we left so full and so well taken care of. The pretzel app was amazing, my husband had the delicious steak sandwich and I had a very different yet super tasty take on steak with the Sirloin Caprino. I also had a wine flight that I enjoyed very much. They really give you a great tasting. I would recommend this place to everyone!
Nice place, great food and wonderful staff! Will be back.
From Diego, José Maria, Gerard and Javier, thanks for the time that we enjoyed there with the jokes and the excellent knowledge about all the beers. Natalie for the attention that we received from her. Our recommendation is to ask her about the combination of white chocolate and blue berry beer, was amazing! Nice place to enjoy with friends or family that you should go if you come around this zone!
What a quirky little place in small town Arizona! Good food and drinks, excellent service. Glad we stopped for lunch.
Superb diner in this cosy restaurant. Staff was super friendly and the food great, the drinks are a must try with a huge selection. Also special mention to Jessy, our waitress who was really helpful and pleasant.
Wide selection of beers, but the service was very poor. Wrong wings, cold sandwich, hard cold fries, and drink order took 40 minutes. Food took over an hour and there was only three other tables. The errors and cold food were taken off the check by the owner, and the owner was very polite.
Great food great service
Great food, drinks and service! Something different than the other restaurants....which is really a nice change! I most definitely recommend trying to this place. :) We will be back!!
Food was great. Wine delicious. Service was excellent. Stephanie was excellent. Will go back.
What a cool little place! My husband and I sat inside because it was a very windy day. Great beer selection, but we opted for the fresh brewed iced tea. Stephanie was an informative and friendly server. She recommended the pretzel stick basket with the beer cheese. And yes, I did want to put the beer cheese on everything... so good! Eggplant portabella sando with potato salad yummy as well. It's a small place in a seasonal town, so be kind to the people running this awesome establishment if it's busy! Thanks South Rims, we'll definitely be back for some beer!
Service is quite exceptional. My wife's steak sandwich was very good. She said that the garlic mashed potatoes were "fabulous". My eggplant sandwich was quite good except for the bread. The bread of my sandwich and that of my wife's steak sandwich was very stale. I am quite acquainted with baguette bread, having spent time in France. I believe that this bread started out in the baguette style and was left on a window sill in the desert heat for a couple days. I have excellent muscle condition and I could not eat the bread. I feared that to do so would involve a trip to the dentist.
We found this restaurant online, and we were very happy with our experience there. The food and service were excellent. There is also an extensive list of local beers, as well as a nice selection of wine. Owner Greg and server, Krista, went out of their way to provide a great dining experience. We highly recommend it.
My swordfish meal and wine flight were on point. As was the service. Thank you South Rims - the fanciest garage I’ve been to.
Loved it! Highly recommend the pretzel bread and pretzel bun burger. Awesome selection of local craft beers. Owner Greg is personable, had great recommendations, and the staff took great care of us.
The sirloin is excellent, superb! The pretzel burger also grate. The wings are very tasty. "The" place to eat if you come close to Williams AZ.
Love the food, the outdoor seating, great & friendly service! Chef Shawn loves what he does & and does an excellent job! Presentation, delicious food & great customer service! The owners always makes a point of making us feel welcome! Highly recommend!
The dinner was delicious. My steak was of excellent quality and grilled on the spot. I can recommend this rustic restaurant in any case.
My husband and I love coming to this wine bar and restaurant anytime we are in Williams, AZ. Recently we came with our two teenage kids to have lunch and Stephanie gave us wonderful service! My husband had the pretzel burger which he said was one of the best burgers he’s had in a while. I had the soft pretzel appetizer with beer cheese which was just heavenly. Our children were also very happy with their selections! We enjoy this place for the nice selection of wines, many from Arizona. We like having a couple of different places to sit inside and then they have a lovely outdoor area which was too rainy to enjoy on this trip but we have before and it’s really nice. Greg the owner is doing a great job of improving the menu and also keeping many elements we like about this place alive and well. Can’t wait to return!
Loved the food. Great service and atmosphere. The flight of beer was a good suggestion by the waitress. Best crab cakes my wife and I have ever eaten. Our sons loved their meals as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Williams.
Great place! Service was excellent and food was tasty and creative. Would highly recommend it.
What a wonderful find! Awesome food, incredible beer list, great mead and wines. The waitresses are truly great and the garage decor is fun.
Beer, service is good. Food was so so. Potato logs were inedible. I believe that they had been freezer burned.
Very cool place. They have a wide selection of beers and wines from other breweries, as well as their own. The pretzels where nice and soft. Prompt service. We sat outside which was nice. It’s just outside the main part of the drag which meant it was nice and quiet, I only hope that that doesn’t hurt their business.
Just moved to area a few months ago and 1st time there for a birthday lunch. Hot day, tried beer flights to sample local flavors. Well done as was the luncheon fare. Soup and AZ sandwich were excellent as was Jessie, our waitress.
In town visiting for the weekend, and had the pleasure of stopping by this place. Amazing, friendly service, and delicious food. Greg and the staff took wonderful care of us, and ensured we had a great time. He went out of his way to help celebrate my birthday with a little ice cream, and singing which made my night. The sirloin and macaroni and cheese, are top notch--- highly recommend this place. I wish they had one in Denver.
Awesome place with great food and beer. Cassidy gave us great ideas for our trip to the Grand Canyon. Will be back tomorrow night for dinner after Canyon!
Cassidy and Stephanie were fantastic! Food and drink and atmosphere makes this THE place for a great meal and good times. Thanks Greg...appreciated the visit and the history of the place too.
Neat place and decor. The pretzels and beer cheese appetizer are the best! The actual meals are ok. Good drink selection.
Great beer cheese, Anaheim chicken. Wonderful choice of local beers.
Many Arizona craft beers and a great assortment of wines. Highly recommend the Pretzel Plate as an appetizer, get the beer cheese dip and the brisket on a pretzel bun is over the top ....bring an empty stomach and leave fulfilled.
Had amazing service from Krista our server all night. Nothing but smiles and knowledge. Greg on the floor was also super helpful and friendly. Chefs Cody and Mike did a fantastic job. My dad and I both had the brisket sandwich which fell apart in your mouth. Mum had the French dip which I "forced" down the end of because I couldn't let it go to waste. Great value found here. Great selection of Arizona beers which has a taster option so I could try multiple beers. A must go in Williams.
Great food and wine flight! They didn't have salmon for my salad, so they gave me tuna at the same price, and it was delicious! The owner talked to us all evening and made it a great experience!
Perfect place for tasting local wines and beer with a great new dinner menu. Food was great and the atmosphere is awesome. Nice big outdoor patio for the spring. Greg the owner came out and said hello and checked in on all the guests. This will be one of our regular dining locations when in town.
Great food. Cool 1967 Pontiac GTO in the restaurant! Good selection of craft beer.
All three of us had a really good meal here, service was great.. we were in the area for two nights wish we would have went here the first night so we could have went twice
The air conditioner was out and it was hot. My food was good, but my husband's wasn't.
Food was pretty good, and not terribly expensive. Service was incredible too! Staff went out of their way for us and other guests while we were there.
Great variety of Beer !!
The items on the menu are unique, nowhere else in town has them. The selection of adult beverages is better quality than others in town, try the mead! The interior is nice and makes you feel welcome, including the patio area. The GTO is beautiful
I could not have gotten a better description of the food and beverages as I did from our server! I was very impressed by this and the taste of the food and flight of beers backed it up! I highly recommend South Rims Wine & Beer Garage.
Very good food and great service!
Good food. Great section of wine and beer. Big blue van is my husband favorite here.
Outstanding. The food, the beer, and the service. This is honestly one of the best restaurants I've been to in years. Everything was top shelf. If you get through Williams, do yourself a favor and stop here for lunch or dinner.
friendly service, good beer card, good food, cool location.
Delicious food. Great service. Fun atmosphere.
Great atmosphere amazing food! Loved it
Very nice place with great food and drinks and an awesome atmosphere. Didn't sit on the patio because of the rain...maybe next time. We will definitely be back! Thanks Natalie!!!
Great service. A bit pricey, but all in all a good experience.
After looking through reviews, we thought this would be a good choice. We were wrong. The service is great. But. Hubby & Daughter wanted Dr Pepper. They are out. I ordered a salad that was supposed to have lettuce, bacon, and blue cheese. I added grilled chicken. $15 salad. Came out with blue cheese dressing and no blue cheese. Or chicken. It is a square of lettuce that hasn’t been cut at all. Small square. The butter knife on the table couldn’t cut it. Once I got the chicken, it wasn’t even warm. But, the salad tasted great after I did the preparation of cutting up my food. Daughter ordered the Caprese Chicken sandwich. Had to wait quite a while as it was supposed to have no balsamic dressing and they put it on the first one. This chicken sandwich is a cut up in small pieces of chicken that is very difficult to hold on the tough bread to eat. Hubby ordered the hot wings. Didn’t know a pound of wings is 8 half wings. Anyway, they were supposed to be mild and he couldn’t finish eating them as they were too spicy. The waitress was great. The food was fine. But the issues plus having to cut up your own salad after having to request a steak knife, to me, is not worthy of being a $52 meal.
If you're in town or close. You need to stop here. The pretzel burger amazing and the folks the run it are super friendly and helpful!
