You cross the Arizona, see Phoenix, passing through Tucson, and stop in Tombstone; And before entering in Mexico, you cross a small town: Sonoita, surrounded by farms, so small that if you syntonizer for an instant the radio of the car before enter, goes through it and not see it. But after a few kilometres, in the middle of the fields, you begin to hear music, see people dancing and having fun under lights, and you think: - I had an accident, died, and I’m on my way to the even of Arizona! - I take the wrong way and arrived in area 51, and the aliens won! But not! you reach to an excellent wine house, where you can taste from a selected list of great wines ; in your glass or in the glass from the House; accompanied by all types of delicious cheeses and chocolates, and surrounded by a festive and relaxed atmosphere Open until dawn....! almost…!

Great, GREAT, wines! Fun atmosphere and unique pairings! They had everything from BBQ chips to cocoa puffs to hot Cheetos, cute and fun twist on the normal pita chips. Out back they have areas for kids, several small patio type setups, and lots of animals to see! We saw several ducks, a couple of sheep, a goat, and a peacock. They had a fun idea where you can write a letter and seal it forever in their iron made heart box out in front, cute! The gal was super nice and very knowledgeable about all their wines. Also smoking deal if you bring your own glass, $5 for 5 wine tastings. Loved the women positive artwork, the sisters that own the winery have done a great job with decorating! Just loved it here.

New to the area and have to say this place has great atmosphere, beautiful views and I really enjoyed the friendly bartender who filled me in on a few things about the local wineries however; they had a group event for a bunch of cyclists today and I really hope it’s not a regular thing because they were 1. Incredibly rude, boorish and condescending to the other patrons including an adorable little girl who was with her mom and the mom herself simply because the mom was looking at merchandise near some food that was left out (which by the way didn’t say who or what it was for) and 2. They were pretty disgusting, they were stretching out their gross sweaty legs and dirty feet/sneakers on furniture and food surfaces inside...some even left their Diet Coke cans and M&M’s laying around everywhere. I found their behavior, lack of manners, inability to keep their space clean and the level of disrespect shown to non-group members who were there to enjoy themselves to be a huge turn off. Other than that, I found the place to charming, whimsical and full of life. I would go back in a heartbeat, just not if that cycling group showed up again.

I have never been to a winery where I liked nearly all of the offered tastings. This was a welcome treat. Bring a glass and you can do a tasting for $5. They provide chips to cleanse the palate. They are super friendly and adorable.

6 great wines to choose from. Beautiful views and fun ambience hanging out with the animals. I loved it. The O shot was really good, too. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing by Sonoita.

A wine tasting like no other! Having been to many wineries and tastings, none was more fun than a visit to Arizona Hope & Vines. What makes it so much fun? It was the entire experience; the grounds with a peacock, cozy sofa sitting areas perfect for noshing, the friendly sommeliers, friendly guests and of course, the wines. The sommeliers deliver a different snack with each wine to demonstrate how one might pair with food. I prefer not to share what the snacks are, I believe it would spoil the surprise.
