We were recently in the area and stopped. We didn't taste any wines, although the friendly sales associate offered. We purchased several varieties and are pleased with our purchases. The winery grows a variety of grapes, not just the local muscadine, so the wines reflect the variety. Pretty grounds. We will return!

My husband bought 2 bottles of Hodges wine from Eagle in TalIassee. The bottle of Peach white musadine was horrible with alot of sedement in the bottom. It tasted sour. My husband googled and found that wine that had lots of bubbles and tastes sour is still fermenting. Eagle refused to make it good so I called Hodges. The lady who answered was extremely nice and apologetic. She stated she lived in Tallassee and would bring me 2 bottles of my choice to replace. I told her that was not neccesary but she insisted. She never showed up. I called a second time. Again she was apologetic and said she would bring it that night but never did. I have not heard another word. Will not buy this wine again.

Went April 9th for the first time for the Easter Egg Hunt. Such a beautiful place with such a friendly staff. The kids really enjoyed the egg hunt and the prizes. The people who organized it did so with such generous hearts. The adults got to taste wine and it was delicious. I bought two bottles, the Muscadine and the Blueberry. These flavors were delicious but so were the many other flavors I tasted. The wine prices are great also. I will definitely be back! Very serene place to sit and enjoy your wine.
