I use to come when it was vizzini farms loved it!! The new place is beautiful and service is great. Came for an event ordered a fruit and cheese plate totally disappointed at what I got for 6.95 and I asked for a wine glass but was denied due to it being an outside event however at the last event the crowd and the band was different,wine was served in glass and tbe fruit platter was actually a large platter not a 7" plate. I will say when I voiced my concerns the waitress and manager resolved the issue.

Well I only have one complaint but it's one I can't overlook, I ordered an antipasta salad and I got cheese & crackers with a few grapes, when I asked Kevin the owner he informed me he was out of olives & artichoke hearts. I said that was ok, if you had let me know I would have ordered something else. He walked off and returned with a very small dish of artichoke hearts, olives & peppers. So not only is he a liar he's cheap. As far as the wine tasting part it's was very good and the wait staff was excellent. Overall I give the expirencec 3 out of 5 stars, only because his wait staff was so good.

I had a delightful time at the very nice, cozy tasting room at Vizzini Farms Winery, and will certainly return! I was surprised at the excellent quality of a number of the wines tasted, including a merlot, and I don't usually like merlots. The Vigonier and Appling wines were great, too. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed a nice cheese board and the margarita pizza was also good. They don't have that large a menu overall but it is a bistro and the choices they do have are very appropriate. Going on a weekday is a wonderful idea if possible because it is very relaxing and it was a perfect place to catch up on family news with a cousin I hadn't seen in 45 years!

Good wine selection! Tasty wine options. Menu is limited, but the things we ordered were very, very good! Service was great and both inside and out on patio is nice. We sat on patio with our dog, and it is so wonderful that the outside and patio is dog friendly! The patio tables have large sun, rain umbrellas and comfy chairs too!

We came here with a Groupon, and we were not disappointed! Everything from the tasting to the tour and the food was perfection! I definitely recommend the Philly Cheesesteak and the Chicken Pesto Pizza. The atmosphere is great for couples, and the wines were very high quality without the high prices. You should definitely visit when Wendy is there!

My husband and I ended up here a couple of weeks ago for an impromptu date night. Our server was AMAZING and very knowledgeable about the wine and the history of the winery. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the wine, and the food. We will definitely be back.

Such a beautiful place to enjoy a glass of wine. We went here for a tasting and stayed for lunch. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and engaging. Can’t wait to go back for Christmas time. Try the Tuxedo, Rolling Red, and peach. All amazing!

My husband and I celebrated 7 years together with a trip to Corbin farms. We had the best time and the wine was amazing! We did the wine tasting as well as lunch and we will definitely be back again! Service was rude. I stopped in to buy two gift cards for my family as a christmas gift. I felt like I was interrupting the lady working, but the place was empty. The gift cards are just handwritten on business cards, no brochures or anything I could give to highlight the business. My husband and I were going to also eat lunch, but I was so put off we just left. They lost out on all of it.

They are very accommodating with whatever you want! They offer full service options or pick what you want with a personalized option just for your needs! Came with large group, waited two hours to move through tasting and a simple lunch of a croissant sandwich. Anti-pasta was roughly equivalent to a lunch-able. Wine tasted okay. Nothing exceptional.

My family and friends have visited Vizzini Farms Winery a number of times. We have always had a great experience. This is the only winery we have found that serves food. The food is excellent, and the wines as well. Just wish they were open on Sundays.

We had our wedding reception at Corbin Farms Winery, and they made sure our event felt perfect. We had flatbread pizza, chicken skewers, bruschetta, fruit, cheese, and crackers along with wine for 65 people. The servers were attentive and welcoming while we celebrated on the patio and in the gardens. The decor is simple and nice, the music was great, and we had a wonderful afternoon with family and friends. I would recommend them to anyone for any event!

As yankees who moved to Alabama a couple years ago, this is the best winery we've found in Alabama. We're not crazy about Muscadine wine, so it's refreshing to find an Alabama winery making regular grape wines! Great food selection also, I definitely recommend the caprese salad! We will be back!

The facility was nice and the customer service was great. The wine, however, was another story. I almost could not finish my tasting. I feel bad saying this because the people were so nice, but every wine we tried tasted flat. We tried cabernet sauvignon, merlot, chardonnay, strawberry rose, pinot grigio, and pinot noir. Right off the bat, starting with the cab sauvignon sample, we were advised that a lot of people complained about the flavor of it. The "dry" wines tasted completely flat and had no bite or dryness to them, and the flavor was abysmal, leaving a weird vinegar aftertaste. The sweet wines smelled like candy and literally tasted like old grape/fruit juice or liquid sugar, and gave us both bad heartburn. We've been to numerous wineries and I hate to say this, but the cheap $5 bottles of wine you can get from Target are way more enjoyable than anything we tried here. We came here with the intention of doing tastings and each enjoying a glass of wine afterwards, but we left after the tasting and went to Publix to buy a wine that actually tastes like wine. It was nice of them to offer $6 off a bottle of wine for doing the tasting, but we won't be using it. If you like extremely sugary tasting wine that resembles Arbor Mist more than an actual wine, you may love this place.

What a beautiful day at the winery! Large variety of wine and some of our favorites and we have been to a lot of wineries. Staff are unbelievably knowledgeable and provided great service. Family friendly and would be a beautiful place for a wedding or family get together. Can't wait to get back again!

Everyone is so very nice. I make a trip to the winery a couple of times a year. They only have one special wine a friend loves....Miss Scarlet. It's only available in the fall. I can never walk out with just one bottle it's usually at least half a case.

I was so excited to visit Corbin as it was the last on our winery tour. I was so disappointed. We went at opening time on a Sunday and we were the only customers there. The staff were more concerned with restocking the shelves rather than making us feel welcome. While I can definitely see the appeal of it as a venue - a great winery/vineyard experience it was not. The building and activities that they have available are top notch. The food had great flavor but the flatbread was cold when it arrived at the table. While it is exciting to see all of the activities that they have available - I hope those are better than what we experienced.

The employee who answered the phone, Savanna, was extremely courteous and made sure all of my concerns were addressed. I had selected this winery for one of our stops for our 2nd anniversary. Upon arriving at the facility, we were pleased with the proximity of parking to the establishment as well as the outdoor decor. Upon walking in the door, we were quickly greeted and offered a table and menu. We were there no more than 5 minutes and our wine tasting began. The sweet wines were more to our liking. During our wine tasting, Savanna was extremely courteous and remained engaged with us the entire time. Upon going to our table to eat, I fell in love with the decor inside and Savanna was kind enough to take a picture of my husband and I. The food we ordered was perfect sizing and delicious. I do believe we have a new favorite winery. The prices, customer service, attentiveness and decor cannot be beat. We are definitely going to return.

Quality was poor. Very poor. My husband and I had the carbonara, which was essentially scrambled eggs over penne, not carbonara. Also, there was no bacon in mine that I could find. My mother-in-law had the frittata, which she said was very bland, and a caeser salad, which was iceberg lettuce with caeser dressing and two croutons. In addition to the AWFUL food, service was slow and spotty at best. We also tried some of the wines, but none of them were enjoyable.

Vizzini is amazing! It has new owners and managers; and I must say, I’m very pleased. I’ll admit, I’m not a big wine drinker; but I got the chance to try different wines and I was very surprised by how good some of them tasted. My personal favorites are the pear wine and the apple wine. I guess now that makes me a wine drinker, lol! The staff are very nice and treat you like you’re family. The atmosphere is also really great. I’ll definitely be back! :)

Outstanding experience all the way around. While there we participated in a wine tasting and tour, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Wendy was a fun hostess during our wine tasting and was very informative. They had a great selection of wines, something to suit everyone. Our personal favorite was the Merlot. The tour was led by the owner, Matt Corbin, who did a great job explaining their wine making process and was happy to answer all of my questions. All of the staff was very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely be back in the future.

I had my wedding reception here and Matt made everything picture perfect! He and his staff have a great work ethic and they did everything they could to give us an amazing reception. I am still getting rave reviews from family and friends who had the time of their lives. Corbin Farms has excellent dessert wines, sweet, and dry. My personal favorite was their Just Peachy. The food was where I was most surprised though, the stuffed mushrooms were killer! Their staff was very easy to work with and I highly recommend the venue for a wedding reception or any gathering.

We just had our wedding here this past Saturday. The venue was absolutely beautiful and the staff working the event was amazing. The Corbins definitely had patience answering my countless questions before our wedding day. The huge downside that I wish I knew ahead of time, was we payed several hundred dollars per hour to rent the venue other than the time originally given to us. We were told the venue would be closed, and it would be ours all day. When I arrived, guests not in the wedding were taking their time buying wine. As a result of this, I was trying to figure out why the winery was open, and make sure they would close to the public, which took up precious time we needed and we were delayed setting up, the first look was late and rushed, we were still taking pictures when the guests arrived because we were so far behind on our schedule, and the ceremony didn’t start on time. If I had known that the venue really wouldn’t be closed, I would have worked around it. But the “first look“ took place on the front porch and I was on edge wondering if someone was going to show up in a t-shirt wanting to buy wine. Not at all what a bride wants on her wedding day. I tried working with them to remedy the problem, but did not receive any help.

This was a one stop shop to taste up to 17 wine selections, eat a delicious meal, purchase wine & hear live music! Good wine! Good food! Variety in wine assortments not seen in retail outlets. We used a groupon for our latest visit. We enjoyed samples of 6 different wines while waiting for our lunch. From desert to crisp, dry whites we sampled the gambit! The food offerings are good as well. From light veggie to meaty anti pasta, I feel they have a meal item for all tastes. The portion size was definitely adequate to satisfy.

I had a great birthday weekend brunch and tour with a group of girlfriends from college at Vizzini Farms Winery at the end of June 2013. The staff was very attentive despite the large size of our group (8 ladies in all). First, we decided to eat brunch. The menu was not very large but everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Personally, I had a great bowl of freshly cooked tomato soup and a delicious vegetable frittata. Next, we made our way to the back of the modest but interesting facility where we received an overview of the Vizzini family history, a lesson about wine-making 101, and the production process. The tour guide was very engaging, funny, and personable over the course of the tour. Finally, we made our way back to the wine bar where we sampled the lovely wines of the Vizzini Farm Winery. I fell in love with a few of the vineyards wines - Tuxedo Junction, Cabernet, and the Peach Chardonnay were my favorites! I must admit that I purchased a few bottles at the end of the tasting :) Overall, I had a great time with my friends and would love to come back again for a small gathering!

Nice location right off highway would have been great for a quick tasting stop on my road trip. However I gave up after waiting for 15 minutes for some attention from the staff which was apparently overwhelmed with 2 tables. Should be staffed to actually taste and sell wine somewhat effectively.
