The only thing I would say hasn't been completely what they said at sign up was "handling our social media." Basically they will make one graphic a month that is your idea but nothing else, that wasn't made super clear, we thought they would be doing daily/weekly posts etc.

I worked at Business Promotion for a few months. The people that work there are phenomenal! The company itself, not so much at all. I was laid off the WEEK OF THANKSGIVING. seriously? talk about horrible timing. Point 1: We constantly had clients calling in complaining over how horrible our services are and how they had not received new clients. The company can build you a good looking website that attracts viewers, but they lack on actually getting your business new clients, meaning money. point 2: for the amount of clients the company has, they are *severely* understaffed. I had complaints from my coworkers constantly of how backed up they were. in my area of work, as an account manager, my phone would ring constantly and my email would always have clients emailing in complaining about various things. Point 3: Once you are in a contract with BP, you are locked in. There's no way out. If you want your site files, they will fight you until you threaten to sue or take legal action. You will pretty much never get full administration rights to your site. Save your time and money by choosing a better, more professional business.

Our experience with Business Promotion has been quite positive on the whole. They are responsive when we call in to get some changes made on the website. When we request custom graphics we usually get some mock ups within a couple of days. When our website was being built by BP we were involved a lot to make sure that the website reflected our style. If I had to offer suggestions for improvement, it would be that having a 'go to' person/account manager would really help. It's sometimes hard to muddle through which department one needs to call or email.

They have very good sales people that will promise you the world, and not follow up on any of these promises barring the website. I haven't directly spoken with anyone from the company in months. The social media aspect which they said they would help with has not been addressed in about 8 months or since we signed up with Business Promotion. They promised us google reviews and have generated exactly zero reviews. Not one review. Save your money and go with an honest company. This company is not honest in any capacity.

I wish I was able to request a webpage change and not worry about it being done right the first time. Since Business Promotion is not thorough on the things I can see on the website, it makes me wonder how thorough they are on the back end seo that I don't see or know much about.
