Here’s the story about how Randy saved my website! I took a chance on contacting Randy Zeitman and the Philadelphia Web Design company, after nearly giving up hope of ever having a website I love. The original website developer I was using had good ideas and a (too) polished pitch, but after an entire year, they were unable to finish what I thought was a basic website for a therapist. We parted ways and I thought I would never have a nice website because I certainly wasn’t ever going to spend that much money on starting a site from scratch again. But I decided to try again, once more, hopefully to find someone who could finish and polish my site. I found Randy. He said this was unfortunately way too common, not to feel bad and that many web design firms are young and want to do ‘cool’, not ‘sophisticated, grown up’ websites. I spoke with Randy for over an hour. He could explain back to me what I wanted, and even before I could send him a deposit he created visual examples to show me how several simple changes would make a big difference. He met me where I was. He didn’t make me feel stupid because I’m not a techie, didn’t try to sell me fancy add-ons, and was truly interested in finding less expensive ways to make a nicer, easier to use site that would more likely show up well in Google. And he was fast as well. Very fast. In just a few days he made more changes than the other developer did in a few months. He even created a new logo for me, much more ‘me’, and it was gorgeous! Much better fonts! Over the next two weeks he picked away at it and in the end gave me a very sharp, practical, inviting and whatever other ‘excellent’ words you want to put in, website at a very reasonable cost. Thank you Randy! After a year of frustration I finally love my website!
